  1. It's meant to emphasise the fact that what we do is real work. It's not supposed to be sexy.
  2. I think in the movie, Lux was Kirsten Dunst's character.
  3. When I first started, I went by the name Lux. When I started working for the agency, they said no one would be able to pronounce it, and to pick something else. So I went with Erin, because that was what my mother was going to name me. I've been toying with a complete image overhaul and going back to Lux, but fuck, I am so lazy and I don't want to have to continually be advertising as Lux, formerly Erin. Etc. For the record, I stole the name Lux from the novel the Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides. It's the name of one of the sisters.
  4. CIDER Give me a Strongbow, Waupoose or Bulmer's and I'm a happy girl. Or a virgin pina colada or strawberry daquiri. I can't drink hard liquor, so virgin is the way to go.
  5. You can still get beer in stubby bottles! I forget the particular brand, but back at Laurier, everyone drank it. Personally, I really miss the television from the 80's. And also, can I just say, kids movies these days SUCK. Kid's movies from the 80's are so much more fun. Kids actually swear, get into trouble and kick ass. I'm thinking specifically of the Goonies and Monster Squad. 1. Snap bracelets 2. Thundercats 3. Jem and the Holograms (I had super awesome pink Jem and the Hologram sweatpants) 4. My Pet Monster 5. Bonkers
  6. Thanks for all the love everyone! I am committed to a minimum of four articles (at least one per month). I will be writing an article concerning the law and how it affects my life and I will also be writing about whore stigma. I'll keep you posted! *also, I literally wrote that article up the second I heard back from the editor and was apparently too excited to proofread and now I can't figure out how to edit. There were some repetitions and a couple of split infinitives and the perfectionist in me is going nuts. haha.
  7. My toe cleavage is pretty sexy. PS your bra was embedded in the chair cushions.
  8. Hey guys, I just got a gig writing for Sex Life Canada, a website devoted to sex positivism. Here's my first article! I mentioned cerb so I figured you guys would want to read it :) http://www.sexlifecanada.ca/ottawa/ottawa-sexlife-journal/tips-seeing-sex-workers
  9. Steamy, that's one word for it! Angela lost her bra!
  10. Christine, I am so with you. Once or twice I've had guys just stop, right in the middle of going down on me. Uhh, I'm not finished yet? What's the deal? Get back down there. And this isn't even for pay. So sad.
  11. I really gotta say, I'm not down with all this menses bashing. It's the same blood that bleeds if you were to cut your finger, and no one thinks twice about sticking that in their mouth. Oh and if people who get into watersports are freaks, well, then my freak flag is flying high.
  12. Where did you get this awesome onion ring poutine, because I think I just found my next artery-clogging obsession.
  13. Personally, I enjoyed when Carrie and Annessa were kissing.
  14. Oh guys, I just feel that no duo could ever live up to the six-some I had this past weekend with Carrie Moon, Angela of Ottawa, Annessa, Eva (wayfarer) and Soleil. Take that boys. ;)
  15. Or you can always just put him in crotchless underwear. Those suck-in-all-your-fat underthings are almost always crotchless.
  16. I am so with you on the scalloped potatoes. Side dish? Screw that, I'll just have the potatoes thanks. Ha. And I adore dark chocoloate with chili.
  17. 1. My mom's antipasto 2. pistachioes 3. Ben and Jerry's If I had 10,0000 Flavours, OR Half Baked (half chocolate chip cookie dough and half chocolate with fudge chunks) 4. pumpkin pie 5. ginger snaps 6. the cack! (sorry, I couldn't resist, that was for you Soleil!)
  18. Ok, so plans have changed slightly. Now, I'm looking to leave June 2 or 3, come back June 9 or 10th. I'm looking to fly into Huntsville, AL now too. Also, in terms of money, would it be much cheaper (and how much more difficult) to fly out of Atlanta or Nashville (my friend will give me a ride to either place) to head home? I mean, do I book those separately? Seriously, I feel like such a noob. I'm planning on booking tomorrow, I'm just getting some funds together ;) Erin
  19. This is a very helpful blog: http://tradesecretsguide.blogspot.com/ Feel free to email me if you have questions! xx
  20. I don't have a car guys! And I don't care about direct flights. This is an adventure! I've been looking at various sites, it's looking like about $500 roundtrip, but with at least one stopover.
  21. I don't travel much, so I thought I'd ask some of you more savvy folks: what are some good sites to use to find cheap flights? I have impulsively decided to fly to Atlanta, Georgia for a week, for a close friend's birthday May 31-June 7. Tips, suggestions appreciated :) Thanks! Erin
