HA! No worries, I'm totally down with a thread about True Blood. I happen to think Anna Paquin is a decent actress. Jason is dumb, but loveable. The classicist in me was annoyed that Maryann is supposed to be a Maenad. In ancient Greece, maenads were female worshippers of Dionysus and performed orgiastic dances. I've read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, it was fun! It's basically the exact same story, but with zombies stuck in. For example, when Elizabeth goes to visit Mr. Darcy, she ends up fighting zombies on the way. I just started reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman and it is SO GOOD. I am totally involved, I think I read about 150 pages in the first sitting. I generally find Neil Gaiman to be hit and miss (American Gods wasn't that great, IMO), but Neverwhere is fabulous.

As I fluctuate between a size 10 and a size 12 (in the pants) and am plus-sized on top, I'm not entirely sure where to put myself. I don't think I'm quite big enough to fall into the BBW category, but I ain't no spinner either. It's a bit sad that most men's fantasies don't involve larger women, but they aren't to blame so much as the media that tells us all that thin is the only pretty. I also think that there are fewer reco's for larger ladies because there are fewer larger ladies working. I partially assume (and perhaps wrongly) that this is because you MUST love yourself and your body to work in this business, and that larger gals tend to have more body size issues, making fewer of us who are confident enough in ourselves to do this work. That being said, please don't think that I think slender women don't have body issues also. You can ask any woman and I guarantee you there is probably something about her she'd want to change.

I currently have a Samsung ML 1200 or something and it was working fine, except for the fact that you had to hand feed the pages (not sure why it started doing that) and then I got a new laptop and the old printer wouldn't plug into the laptop. So I went and got one of those cords you can plug into the printer and then you plug the other end into the USB port on my laptop. And yeah, somehow that didn't work. My laptop says the printer is there and that documents have been sent to the printer, but the printer just sits there and doesn't print. So I was thinking I'd scrap the whole thing and just get a new printer. I've never worked out the whole printing at school thing.

Yes, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. My problem with SA and his comments lies in the fact that he is trying to speak about a subject that he cannot possibly understand fully unless he has actively engaged in said subject and acts as though he is the be-all and end-all word on the stripclubs, simply because he frequents them. SA, while I respect your opinion, you are NOT a dancer, and frequenting strip clubs doesn't make you an expert. What happens with you, is not how all clients act. Just as much demeaning crap can happen at a strip club, even so-called classier joints like the Nuden. Like guys who will try to stick their fingers in you when there is a strictly no touching between the legs rule. And that's sexual assault, my friend. And there is a TON of competition between dancers, classy or not. You have to be able to hustle and it's entirely different than escorting. It irks me too. I've always said that we ladies have to stick together and stop viewing each other as competition. Look, I do *both.* That is, I work for an agency and I have my own clients who I see independent of the Playgirls. Tracey knows that I'd never see a client of hers outside the agency and I keep that trust by never breaking it. In this way, I can offset the money the agency takes by seeing two or three of my own clients per week. You need to do what *you* what want to do. Don't be bullied or take any shit from people who will tell you that there is no point working for an agency because they'll just take half your cash. Weigh the pros and cons and decide what is right for you. I like working for an agency because I absolutely DO NOT have the patience to deal with the inane, offensive, ignorant requests/questions and often, atrocious spelling and grammar that comes with scheduling your own appointments. I'm terrible on the phone, I work much better in person. That's what I'm good at. So I let an agent take care of the crap I hate and I don't mind giving them a portion of the fee to do it. Also, if I'm having a shitty day and I'm not emotionally capable of seeing a client, I don't have to. I just don't go on call. I don't have to explain to anyone why I'm not working, or have an excuse for why I don't feel like it. It is not *always* about making the most money. It's about making a living in a way that is most enjoyable for you. Some of us do this because we love it, not because we're blinded by dollar signs. That being said, to answer your query, I can only recommend my agency, the Ottawa Playgirls. I've never worked for anyone else, and I wouldn't want to.
