  1. Anyone know how to turn the button sounds off? It's so irritating to be typing out a text or looking for something and every button I push makes a beeping noise. I thought it would be in the settings section under sounds, but there is nothing there to turn the button sounds off.
  2. Oh dudes, my phone isn't a flip phone either, BUT it's got this awesome thing, when it's on, you have to push and hold the back button to get into your main screen (you can still receive calls and texts), but so if you accidentally press buttons, nothing happens.
  3. Since this thread got semi-jacked with a conversation about the law, let me remind everyone that this thread is about doing the 30-40 minute interview for POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa-Gatineau Work, Educate, Resist). I really really need more escorts and indoor workers, like MP's. Right now our data is completely skewed to the street level, as almost 90% of the participants have been SW's. Even if you have no intention of ever joining POWER's membership, and you don't really have any interaction with the law, the information we gather is still crucial. There are almost no studies or information pertaining to indoor sex work and this info would really help us to represent your needs, what you want. I know that we can't pay you, I apologize that all we have in the way of thanks is a $20 gift card. As someone who is incredibly passionate about human rights, particularly those of sex workers, and having seen the victimization and oppression firsthand, I can't tell you how important this is. Please, if you have a spare moment, consider doing our interview. Thank you so much, Erin
  4. Yeah, the cell I have is the LG Rumour. It's got the slide out keyboard, which was one of the main reasons why I got it, because as Buggernot said, it's a bitch to try to text on a number pad. I actually prefer texts to phone calls, but that's just me. Plus, since I was almost finished my contract, I got to upgrade for a lot less than if I bought the phone outright.
  5. Omg so I got a new cell and now i can check cerb ALL THE TIME. HAHAHA. Like I need an excuse to spend more time here! Posted via Mobile Device
  6. My experience only covers the last two years, but I've always been a GFE, bordering on PSE and that was before I knew about acronyms. I'm just a freak in the sack, what can I say?
  7. Damn, I want some of those clients. Put me on retainer!
  8. I don't mind going to the client's home, provided it's relatively clean. I'm not asking for sparkling or anything, but I don't want to step in cat piss either. I would like having clients in my own home more if I didn't have cheap student digs. Haha.
  9. Oh Angela Aurora, I will kiss you and turn you to the dark side. Mwahaha. I like turn straight girls into lezzers.
  10. I have to agree with Bethany, I love what I do. I have the opportunity to meet people from every walk of life, people who I might not come across in my own day-to-day experiences. I love the anthropological nature of it. Of course, I also love sex, so that helps! I just wish more women would realize that it's okay if they want/need to see a provider too. Being bisexual, I would love to get to see women on the job. Not that I don't love all you boys :) This job comes with some emotional labour, being that our job is to be so intimate and provide the experience of a girlfriend, so of course, there are times when work is hard, or even difficult. But as Bethany said, the triumphs, the pleasures, and knowing that you are helping someone else, outweigh the occasional bump in the road. Becoming a provider helped me to realize that being a bit bigger is still beautiful and that confidence is the sexiest attribute one can have. I would like to thank all my clients, past, present and future, for helping to shape who I am today, and who I might be in the future. xo Erin
  11. Hypothetically, if I won a million bucks, I would: -buy a house -put some away for the future -give some to my parents -buy a car -give some to POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa-Gatineau, Work, Educate, & Resist) and outreach programs, like E-Fry, Oasis, Centre Espoir Sophie, etc That's it.
  12. This is excellent, I really like this! Would it be a problem if I copied it to my site (with citations as to who wrote it, etc)?
  13. My thoughts are with her family, especially her young daughter.
  14. I only dream about esoterica. Well, my fantasy of what I think he looks like :P
  15. Personally, I preferred chat before all the girls starting using it to give free cam shows. When actual conversation occurred.
  16. I'm near centretown. PM for details.
  17. As well, I also know the sections pertaining to prostitution, 210-213, like the back of my hand. I've done a couple of lectures on the subject as well. I'm happy to answer questions also (I wrote a similar post to mod's awhile back). -E
  18. Thanks for posting this Brandi! I will definitely be giving this a read later :)
  19. Yes, I'm hoping with Paige vouching for the project, more of the local Ottawa workers will get involved. Awareness is the first step towards understanding and acceptance.
  20. Just an update! We still need participants! It's really easy and the information we get will help us to better fight for your needs. This is your chance to tell us what you need! Again, drop in interviews are being done at the following times: March 21 from noon-6 at Pink Triangle Services March 23 from 2-6pm at Centre Espoir Sophie March 25 from 11-6 at the ACO. OR You can email me and I'll arrange a confidential phone interview, which takes approx 30-40 mins. Thanks much! xo Erin
  21. It's the Ottawa Playgirls, they just recently changed the web address (I think). I'm pretty sure if you type in http://www.ottawaplaygirls.com it'll still bring up the site. I work for them, so as Pete said, they're on the up and up.
  22. I can play that song! I took piano for seven years. Oh, Fur Elise. Good times. Could I do it going down on a girl? Doubtful. Very doubtful.
