  1. I haven't encountered this myself, but if I did recognize anyone, I'd probably mention that I recognized them from the "outside" world. Haha. If I see clients on the street, unless they're by themselves, I'll just smile and keep on walking.
  2. On the whole, I've only had one or two try to haggle with me, and I just tell them the fee is non-negotiable. If they have a problem with my fees they can see another SP whose price is more suitable to their budget. Or as Etasman said, they can wait until they can afford it.

  4. Sorry Dummpy my man, could not resist! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AWiOy2D9RQ
  5. Damn! That's some early morning nookie fo sho! Good luck!
  6. As some of you know, I am an active member of the sex worker activist group POWER. Coming up in March they are conducting a needs assessment to ascertain the needs of Ottawa service providers. To do this they will be conducting 30 minute interviews with as many SP's as they can (from Ottawa). I will post again when the interviews are being started, and I urge all of you to do the interview (it is being done as Professor's research, by Chris Bruckert, a professor of criminology at Ottawa U), as the research being done directly affects you. This is your chance to tell Ottawa what you want and need as an SP (ie, health care, sick leave, safe workplaces, etc). http://sites.google.com/site/powerottawa/
  7. Is an "instead cup" like the Diva Cup?
  8. Having seen neither Pete or CK, I still trust them and certainly would not believe any rumours involving them. Both of them have been A+ members of CERB and certainly deserve the benefit of the doubt. As for rumours about SP's, JUST ASK. Personally, I do BBBJ and only cover it if the client asks. That's my personal preference and I do a cock check prior to engagement to be on the lookout for things that you can catch via skin to skin contact (such as genital warts or herpes) as well as any other indications that something is amiss (ie, if you gently squeeze the base of the penis, this empties out the urethra, look for any odd secretions). If I find anything weird, ANYTHING, I use a condom or simply refuse to see the client. That being said, spreading rumours, whether about client or SP is immature. We're all adults here, let's try to act like it.
  9. Personally, I've never really been much of a vibe girl. I prefer anal beads. There are few things I will shamelessly promote and anal beads are one of them.
  10. Yep, CERB is like a second home. I spend entirely too much time here, posting on various threads, starting new threads, talking to my favourite peeps in chat, etc. This site is a great community and I'm glad to be a part of it!
  11. pfft. Family Day? Was that today? Hahaha, good to know I'm in the know.
  12. So I had a look at my stats the other day and they were around 5000 or something and then today I looked at them and I'm up to 12,000 + views? What is going on?
  13. That was one of the reasons I debated not telling my mother, her and my Dad are close to retirement and already worry enough about me, I didn't want to add fuel to the fire, but at the same time, I'm really really close with my Mom and really didn't like lying to her. Again, it came down to lying about how I was putting myself through school (another BA! woo!) and how I was still able to do things like go to Europe or buy a new laptop. For me, lying goes completely against my being. I just couldn't do it anymore.
  14. I was reading this book the other day about strippers (Stripping, Sex and Popular Culture by Catherine M. Roach) and so many of them weren't out to their families and it got me a' wonderin' about how many of us are open about our lives. I'm glad to hear so far though that everyone seems to have loving support groups. It's definitely something you need in this biz.
  15. Well, because I was worried about her reaction I'd been lying this past year about what I'd been up to and it was getting harder and harder to explain where I was getting my money. I figured, you know what, I'm not ashamed of this job, in fact, I'm proud of it and proud that I'm good at it and I thought, well she's my mom, she'll love me no matter what and I went with it. And it turned out pretty good, so I'm happy and relieved to have that weight off my shoulders.
  16. Also, just so everyone is clear, I prefer not to work when I'm on my period, but if I need the cash, I'll sponge it. And I'm not ashamed of it.
  17. You know, I really had no idea that men are so grossed out by women's periods. I get that you wouldn't want your SP to be on the rag, but come on, sometimes budgeting the other three weeks still leaves you in a bind and you need cash. Biz ain't always steady folks. It's called a sponge. You can even fuck with it in and no one notices. Hell you can even go down on a woman with a sponge in who is menstruating. Provided she's showered before your appointment you won't notice the difference and she's still able to make some money. I'm kind of sick of the view that menstruating is gross. It's natural, and here's a tip, in case you weren't too up on female anatomy: if you're going down on a chick on the rag (who is using a sponge), it's called gravity. The blood can't drip up. Ugh.
  18. YEAH, I love Literotica, I have had many many many orgasms because of that website.
  19. I just recently came out of the closet (so to speak) and admitted to my Mom that I was an escort and her response was, "well I'm glad you have a job and aren't really unemployed and that you have the confidence to take advantage of such a goldmine." Since this was absolutely not the response I was expecting, I want to take a minute to count my blessings and appreciate the awesome parents that I have, since they have been so great about supporting me in everything that I choose to do. Which brings me to my question: How many of the women here are open about their lifestyle/career choice and if your family knows, how do they feel about it?
  20. Ha, well I suppose Styx is alright, though I was really hoping it was the song by the Cocteau Twins.
  21. HAHA. If only it were really a picture of a hot Russian with cum on her face eh?
  22. When I first started, in my very very early noob days on CL, I used the name Lux. When I joined the agency, I was going to continue to use that name but they said that no one would know how to pronounce it, so I went with Erin, which was what my parents almost named me. In the past, I toyed with using the name "Elle" since it's a play on the first letter of my actual name.
  23. I can relate. I don't find the typical porn starlet all that attractive either.
  24. did you try searching for those terms?
