I can't believe this has happened in our quiet little city. So senseless, so tragic. My heart goes out to the families of those RCMP officers killed and injured. This is scary people, the guy is still out there roaming around the city. Doors are locked, lights on and not planning on getting any sleep until this guy is taken down. Hopefully soon with no more losses of life or injuries.

Have finished the Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire Series as well as the 3 short stories of Dunk and Egg. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a somewhat similar fantasy series I can enjoy while waiting for George to finish the Game of Thrones series. I've actually begun to re-read Book 4 and it is as good as my first time through!

Another book series I really enjoyed was The Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice. Never liked her Vampire novels but the Witches series I found to be really good, especially the first book. Read it after having spent a week in New Orleans and being familiar with the settings referenced in the book made it all the more interesting. New Orleans has a very haunted/creepy side to it that Rice brings to life in her novels.

If you are into the crime/mystery genre then anything by James Lee Burke (especially the Robicheaux series), Stieg Larsson (Girl With The Dragon Tattoo novels) or Joe Nesbo (Harry Hole series....and yes that is his name but he is Norwegian so it's pronounced Ho-lay, lol).

Wow....quite the season finale. Season 3 should be interesting to see just who survived and continues the hunt for Hannibal. Had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. I'll definitely be watching it again. This show is so well done. Hard to believe it is on network television. Kudos to NBC. Can't wait for Season Three!

I'm hoping they stay original as long as possible but still loosely tied to the Harris novels. Thinking it will be difficult to tie in to the original novels and continue from there but hey that could be prolonged for at least another season or so. Creep factor should only increase now that the Mason Verger character is getting developed more. Love the references to his father and his upbringing as a child and his sessions with Hannibal are particularly entertaining. The writers are going to have an enjoyable time bringing him more and more into the series next season. Can't wait.

Good news for all you fellow Hannibal followers...NBC has renewed the series for a third season. The creepiness continues....yes!

No magic cure I'm afraid other than time.....as per Mrrnice2, they do come back as the polite and appreciative children you once knew....but getting to that point can definitely be trying....hang in there!

This is one creepy show....and the soundtrack that plays during some of the scenes really serves to ramp things up! Although I must say I am beginning to wonder if this guy ever sleeps and why in the name of God do they keep going to his place for meals.....still an excellent show, I'm totally hooked.

I agree with you 100% Castle, great show that is very well done but in the wrong place being on network TV (NBC). If it does get dropped because of ratings I'm also hoping that it will get picked up by one of the cable networks like HBO or FX. This show has been a treat to watch so far.....and keeps getting better and better. If you haven't seen this one yet people do yourselves a favour and check it out. It's presently about halfway through season 2.

Anyone following the Hannibal series on NBC? That is one dark, creepy show....but I can't stop watching it. I'm hooked. I was sceptical that it would be anywhere near as good as the original books/movies but have been pleasantly surprised so far. Certainly doesn't shy away from some pretty gruesome scenes.

Season 2 looks to be every bit as entertaining as the first season. Ha,ha....don't blame Ragnar for trying to convince his wife to let him have 2 wives....that Princess Aulag he hooked up with last season is HOT! Really enjoy this show so far.
