Dummpy can you explain what your definition of an "unlimited intimate appointment" is - it is a serious question because I would like to understand how this completes the overall experience including meal and or shopping.

Pete -from how you have described the sequence of events, this sounds like it is poor judgment and bad business sense on their part. Very much the same as an Independent who confirms an appointment for a certain time, have you drive across the city and call back for her exact location only when you do, you discover she's turned her phone off for the night. Bad business!! I'm with Emma - good manners and consideration of one's time is very important - it works both ways.

Time wasters, no-shows, crank callers are one group that's a nuisance. Aggressive clients, non payers, short changers, hagglers are another and more risky. How to deal with them likely require different approaches - For the first group, we could use technology to try and solve this but we have seen and demonstrated how easy it is (for us responsible players) to use the same technology to remain covert - it is just as easy for these folk to do the same. Perhaps this is a tactic used by some agencies to keep the competition tied up so they are not booking clients....in addition to being a nuisance. There does not appear to be a silver bullet to get rid of group 1 - there will always be clowns out there. For the riskier group - that is the stuff the ladies should be sharing, as some members have alluded to - the SP area on this board can be used for that. There is no silver bullet here too - each time one addresses a security or safety concern by requesting a client to give up some more privacy (e.g. provide a picture prior to booking) we are in fact compromising the discretion component. Not everyone is OK with providing a picture in order to make an appointment. Then there is the challenge of determining the rules of engagement for building, maintaining lists, under what conditions you end up on a list or get removed from a list. Same for a centralized booking system - agencies and indies would have to play by the same rules. Today they don't charge the same rates, so how can we expect the same playing field? (This is not meant to spawn a debate on rates!!) Again - no silver bullet. And after all this - no one has mentioned how a list of good clients will be ensured /assured discretion. Like other members I too have had bad experiences and discretely have shared such info with other members here. All this to say - too many players, too many unknowns, no silver bullet. Can we learn from other business models? Perhaps - how about a members only club, with security (bouncers like a strip club) and an opportunity to socialize with single or multiple courtesans. Not a setup for a quick oil change - but rather social activities leading to other consensual activities. The host provides the security for the courtesans, ensure a better more responsible clientele, discretion etc etc -and perhaps, just perhaps keep the time wasters, crackpots etc away. Oh yes, no drugs on premise and regular health checks for the gals. What am I getting at? Perhaps it is time to change the business model. Does this count as a common bawdy house? I don't know - but this is likely a good place to ask the question...though not the only place. I never heard of the Playboy Mansion getting busted. Would you say that the services are safe GFE, GFE, PSE etc. I'm not knocking your review, just trying to help set 'expectations'. Of course as we're all aware, YMMV. Cheers and thanks for sharing.

Generally speaking - expectations, timing, mood, chemistry all contribute to the overall experience. Mood of the lady, time of day, perhaps you're anticipating a certain type of service and she is tired or in a bad mood or has a headache or something else because she is human and well shit happens. Perhaps you show up in a crappy mood yourself and well - she isn't equipped to deal with your emotions. Some are better at rebounding from a bad situation and some can detect the lack of chemistry and try to make the best of the situation for you - not themselves. The better ones and perhaps the legitimate ones can do that. As their clients perhaps we need to manage our expectations better also - not because we are paying for a 'service' does it give any entitlement over anyone. The ladies have the right to see whomever they wish. Chances are in everyone's 'normal' life there are people/personalities that does not gel with your own - so you find a way to deal with those, and get on with life. Similarly if we approach the 'hobby' with the expectation that we will not 'click' with everyone, when you don't click, chalk it up to one of those and move on. Remember - one man's meat is another man's poison! Again - general comments. P.S - in some threads some of the ladies have mentioned they do not like the term SP - so starting now, I will do my best to refrain from using this term to refer to anyone.

All good points - for maximum discretion and minimal footprint - do not use an employer assigned device (laptop, blackberry other) for accessing adult content. As I mentioned in another thread even a local phone call out of a hotel room (while it does not show up on your hotel bill) is recorded in the logs of the telephony system and can be traced back to a date/time/person. Internet access from your employer is monitored - even though this does not happen in real time, it is possible to look for patterns in terms of what sites/content are being accessed by whom. Not trying to turn this into an IT forum - the message here is this: play safe on ALL fronts. Separate work and play and everyone will be happy.

I think the ladies set the rate for the sessions based on different factors. Location, market, the service options they provide, competition and market exposure. Thanks to resources like CERB, there are mechanisms for advertising and marketing. Very helpful in allowing clients to select legitimate providers in terms of services, cost, availability. Just my two cents.

Years ago I was having dinner with some male friends at a patio in the Byward market and the group that got seated right across from me included an SP I was seeing at the time. (She's since moved to Florida). We of course recognized each other and acknowledged each other but did not blow each other's 'cover'. But the guys at my table kept commenting about her boobs (nice set of man mades) and how good it must feel to go to bed with those every night. Funny - I'm reading this thread tonight. Earlier this evening as I was with my lady friend we were chatting about this very topic. I guess it works both ways and if the chemistry is there then things can happen. How it turns out I guess depends on the individuals and what each want. By the way -not to hijack this thread -there are three topics that are interesting to get input on from both hobbyists and SPs. 1) SPs falling for clients, 2) clients falling for SPs and 3) telling friends/family about your work as an SP or hobbyist. In terms of #3, in my travels the SPs that tell their friends/family are in the minority.

I think this is an important point made here by HoG and should help us keep the context of the thread in perspective.
