Sorry to take it off topic again but there is a real tendency among Ottawa posters to make condescending comments in the Winnipeg section where they like to talk down to you about "not doing your research" or "I've never had that problem" they really just seem to be looking for praise or something that is honestly how I feel about it and I know I'm not alone. I really don't see these as helpful or communicative and I don't know where you get the idea that I didn't follow a lady's instructions thats how I got to this point and it had nothing to do with young or not or well reviewed or not things just seem to be different in Winnipeg.

Ahh yes thank you another poster from Ottawa with such wonderful advice. Why is it only people from Ottawa that do this?? My point was my experience in Winnipeg lately has been that the ladies don't regard this as an appointment that they have to keep its like they use it as a fall back if they aren't busy. I have no problem understanding the purpose of it and I used to be willing to follow all instructions but as I said my experience has been that 50% of the time I get stood up. That includes driving to the designated location and calling from there. So now I politely decline and try someone else if we can't work something out.

I've gotten to the point where if I make an appointment with someone and they give me the old call an hour before for the addtess I say no thanks the chances of them answering seem to be below 50% in my recent experience

Not really buying your chicken egg theory the people that run agencies in Wpg are all thieves they don't need people calling in and complaining they know they're ripping customers off they have no interest in improving the situation. Not sure how winnipeg compares to other markets but travelling SP numbers are up about 1000% in the last couple of years so there must be some attraction if anything Wpg pooners seems more than willing to pay top dollar for rotten service it seems to be driving the market in the opposite direction where fees are going up and service is going down.
