I've called a couple of times, but I can't get a hold of her. =(

In her defense, from what I've heard, she is reputable and provides great service. She just seems to be very difficult to pin down, as can be the case with some independents in general. I feel like giving her another chance, pending her explanation, of course. I just wish there was a good agency in my area. Much more convenient and hassle free, IMHO.

As I said, I understand that something may have come up unexpectedly that is beyond the lady's control. I just wanted to garner some opinions on whether or not I should have expected some form of response from her with regard to either confirming, or in this case postponing a tentative appointment. It's all water under the proverbial bridge at this point.

I thought I would wait until this morning to see if I got a reply from her, as the appointment itself was not supposed to take place until 6:00pm. In the event that she were to try and contact me during the day, I decided to give her my info before I left for work as I knew I would be out of the office all day, and wouldn't be able to e-mail her until I got home, which would have been cutting it a bit close.

So, here's the story.... I've been trying to schedule an appointment with one of Cerb's lovely ladies. She has positive feedback, and I was looking forward to seeing her. The last few attempts resulted in the lady being unavailable due to scheduling conflicts and other obligations on her end. I e-mailed her over the weekend, and we had a tentative appointment for this evening. She told me she would be in touch with me before then. This morning I still hadn't heard from her, and since I'd be at work all day, I sent her my contact info, address etc.. Now, I proceeded as though the appointment was going ahead. As such, I allotted time for the appointment by arranging my schedule around "playtime". Our appointment was to have started 15 minutes ago, and I have heard nothing. I understand if something came up again on her end. That's no problem since I can appreciate the fact that things may unexpectedly crop up. However, I feel that I was owed the courtesy of a reply of some kind, to keep me apprised of the appointment's status. After all, it's just good business practice. At this point, I'm feeling a bit put off by the whole thing. I'd appreciate everyone's input and thoughts on the matter, and opinions on how I should proceed. Thanks!

I know, you're absolutely right Katherine. It's a bit of a catch 22 situation for me... I'm not much for TOFTT anymore since I've heard of other posters who have had some negative experiences out there. I've had the odd one here and there as well, but these days it's had the effect of making me more wary in general. As such, I'm less inclined to see a new lady unless there are at least a couple of positive recommendations.

I wish there were more reviews of her as well as some of the other ladies who are new to the board. That way, we may be able to form a better consensus of what the facts actually are. I believe everyone should be given a fair chance to establish themselves; unfortunately without some feedback from other members, it makes things very difficult. I feel it's a shame, since we may be missing out on diamonds in the rough.

It does seem strange that the newer ladies (to the board) don't have any recommendations yet. I thought there would have been quite a few by now, unless everyone is keeping the hidden gems to themselves! lol. ;-) I'm waiting for some feedback as well.

I honestly believe that this is the heart of the matter for the Conservatives. The rhetoric surrounding human trafficking is merely a smoke screen being used to advance their agenda. I feel we as a community need to take stock of the current political climate and what impending legislation will mean for the future of the sex trade in this country. My biggest fears at present concern the possibility of Joy Smith's proposed private member's bill being made into law, and the subsequent possibility of clients such as myself being charged. Not a very appealing prospect in the least. Secondly, how does one reconcile these developments with the constitutional challenge presently before the courts? If new laws are passed making the purchasing and/or the sale of sex illegal in Canada, then even a ruling upholding Himmel's decision will be rendered null and void. Is there any recourse here?

So, what are the chances of such a bill actually being pushed through and made into law? I think it's outrageous! I for one would not want to be branded a "criminal" by the powers that be just by virtue of being a hobbyist.

Does anyone here remember Nicole (Miss Venomous)?? I've been trying to contact her, but to no avail. She hasn't logged into Cerb for ages...Has she left the business, or is she just advertising elsewhere?
