  1. Or, go to the hotel beforehand and have a look around, pretending to be interested in booking a stay for a vacation.
  2. Fantastic! Looking forward to seeing you...
  3. Rob, I wouldn't worry about outcalls to a hotel at all. They are completely legal, and I have no qualms whatsoever about giving my name at check-in. You need to make sure that your name matches the one on your credit card, obviously, and the agency will cross reference your name with the name assigned to your room number before they send a lady out. I used to book hotels all the time for hobbying purposes and never had a problem. In fact, if I was going to be worried at all, it would be more the case if I was seeing a lady at a hotel for an incall. E.g. (in case I walked into the hotel and couldn't find the elevator, looking lost for a minute etc. which might catch the attention of staff in the lobby. But, even that is a long shot).
  4. This sounds like a proxy server to me. If someone really wants to find you, they can. It just takes more time and effort.
  5. Halifax has a vibrant hobbying community, and we receive regular visits from a number of very special ladies. I wanted to put this out there, to perhaps entice others to visit the east coast, who may not have given it much thought before. I like variety, so the prospect of seeing a few new faces is very appealing. Thoughts?
  6. Mandy (sweetcanadiangirl) was a squirter as well, but she hasn't logged onto Cerb in awhile... anyone know what happened to her?
  7. I posted this in the wrong section by mistake, so I'll try again here. Are there any reputable agencies in the HRM these days? PM me if you wish, Thanks!
  8. Has anyone seen Nicole Brooks yet? Any info and/or a recommendation would be appreciated!
  9. There are two Amelias who I know of... one is our very own, who is back from retirement for a limited time. The other Amelia (Dartmouth) also goes by Joy, and Lana. She has an ad in the Chronicle Herald. Was she the one you meant?
  10. Keep it up, Erin! I guarantee that quitting smoking was one of the best decisions you've ever made. Your health (not to mention your pocketbook) will thank you.
  11. I agree with you, Emily. The reason I ask is that one time, I was early for my incall appointment at an upscale hotel in downtown Halifax. I decided to browse through the shop in the lobby, then sit down on the couch and read the paper. I thought nothing of it, but one of the employees may have thought something was amiss, and asked me if I needed any assistance, or if I was part of the bus tour etc.. The other negative I find is arriving at a hotel to see a lady, and then having to wander around a bit to find the elevators if they are not in clear view. It may give the impression to hotel staff that one does not belong, and raise suspicions. I know I'm probably over reacting here, yet the thought has crossed my mind a few times.
  12. I missed that... I just noticed the age of the lady charged, which is 20. However, given that fact, the raid makes perfect sense.
  13. The scary thing is that she's an advertiser on HTE. Her presence there makes me doubtful of the site in general when it comes to new ladies that I haven't met. It should be noted that there are some exceptional ones as well. It just makes it difficult to judge, if you don't know who's who.
  14. Perhaps it's someone who you've seen around.... a bank teller, waitress, receptionist, retail worker etc..
  15. I wonder if the raid itself was an isolated incident, or if hobbyists have reason to become more wary about visiting ladies in downtown hotels, as so many of us do. Food for thought...
  16. This type of behavior is downright shameful!
  17. That's really unfortunate... It makes me yearn for the days when HRM had some top notch agencies.
  18. Cerb is our own little community, and at times it DOES feel very much like a family. Personally, I welcome threads from members who have issues in their personal lives. I know I've posted a few... Moreover, why not take it as a compliment that a fellow poster feels comfortable enough to share a bit of their personal life with all of us? I'm reminded of the saying "the whole is more than the sum of its parts". That is the case with Cerb. It's so much more than simply a board to exchange adult industry information on. Let's not forget that Cerb is not a separate entity - WE comprise it. WE are the ones who make Cerb what it is through our daily discourse and interaction with one another. That's what makes it great, IMO. I'm sure most of us have seen the movie "Boogie Nights". I've always liked that film since it has an underlying message. The astute viewer will realize that the movie itself is not about sex, or about the adult industry per se. Really if you read between the lines, it's about family, as dysfunctional as most are, but still a family. It's particularly evident toward the end of the film and it's probably the main reason why I enjoy watching it. So it is with Cerb... (IMHO)
  19. In my opinion, it is a business friendship. However, the individual interaction between the hobbyist and the escort may transcend the surface of this arrangement depending upon the individual dynamics that exist between the two parties involved. For myself, first and foremost I treat someone as I would like to be treated. Regardless of occupation or job title, I always see the person first. In the case of an escort, lets remind ourselves that she is someone's daughter, perhaps someone's sister, or perhaps she is also a mother. That said, I prepare for an appointment in much the same way as I would for a civilian date. I'm always clean, prompt, courteous and respectful. I feel these qualities will only serve to enhance one's experience. I have in the past given tokens of appreciation to my regular ladies by way of a thoughtful gift e.g. (perhaps her favorite perfume etc.) I have been handsomely rewarded in kind. I've had ladies return the favor in numerous ways, including spending their own time with me. I remember one lady took me out for lunch before our appointment. She didn't have to, but she wanted to since we had developed a friendship of sorts. Another lady spent an extra three hours with me at no charge... I take that as a huge compliment. The have been other instances as well, but it goes to show that we are all human, we all have emotions and feelings, and more importantly we are all capable of connecting with another and sharing a part of ourselves. This is what makes the hobby so wonderful and in my view, so special.
  20. You might want to try a site like Hotwire etc.. You can usually get a discount on four and five star hotels. E.g. The other day, they were offering a room at the Atlantica Hotel for only $99. Hope this helps!
