I haven't seen their ad in the paper recently... are they still in business?

I sent Nicole an e-mail as well as a PM requesting a booking some time ago. However, so far I haven't received a response. I realize that she may be taking some time off around the holidays, but I was a regular client of hers in the past, and expected at least some form of acknowledgement. I was really looking forward to seeing her again, so I have to say that I am feeling very disappointed over this...

Grand Lido is the ultimate in luxury resorts in Jamaica. Admittedly, a bit pricey, but worth every penny from what I could tell. I ronically enough, it was across the street from Hedonism II, where I was staying! 8-)

I'm getting a conventional mortgage, so they did offer me the equity line of credit. However, I'm thinking I may be better off with a fixed rate for the time being since interest rates will rise sharply after next summer (that's the prediction). I'm thinking a few years down the road...

I believe what happened was, the police received generalized complaints from the public e.g.(high traffic coming and going). The police then put the property under surveillance. A police spokesperson was interviewed, citing that many men coming and going from a particular residence and only staying a short period of time may indicate that the premesis was a common bawdy house. Lol... I have to say though, they're not that common anymore around here. In the past two years, Halifax's finest shut down two well known brothels in the city. Before the crackdown though, everyone turned a blind eye to the goings on for close to 20 years. Sure there were the odd bust or two, but the agency owners just paid the fine and remained in business. Ahhh, the good old days! :cool:

Please don't cancel your trip! I'm really looking forward to seeing you. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you could do outcalls exclusively, which are completely legal. Honestly though, there are a lot of indies doing incalls here and I've never heard of any of them ever getting busted. Hope this helps!

After having taken out $25,000 of your RRSP (first time home buyer's plan) do you: A) Set aside extra money to repay your RRSP withdrawal within 15 years so you don't get taxed B) Forget about paying back the RRSP for the time being and focus on making yearly lump sum payments on the mortgage principal (as much as you can afford) What do you think?

In some cases, yes. However, I'd hazzard a guess and say that the majority of agencies (at least the ones I know of) are legit and above board. Of course, the agencies will claim to be oblivious to what happens during the time their ladies are out on dates. Furthermore, ladies are only charging for their time, which again is perfectly legal.

True enough, although this would be very difficult to prove. I doubt LE would even waste their time on this one.
