Must be a slow time of year at the ottawa strip clubs, posts are few and far between. Does anyone know if Tiffany and Tasha still dance at Barefax? How about Lucy? It has been a while since I've been in town.

Is the Khloe at Barefax the same Khloe from Pigales and Barbs?

Barbs is my favorite club in Ottawa. I like the club size, layout and serving staff. The owners could do more to improve the CR but I can't blame them considering the level of uncertainty about the clubs future. I think Barbs has one serious problem: customers want to go to a club with plenty of quality girls, and quality girls want to work at clubs with plenty of customers... right now Barbs does not have either. The owners of Barbs need to find a way to bring quality girls back and customers will follow or vice versa. I spent a few nights in Ottawa last month and even though my hotel was close to Barbs I found myself jumping in a taxi to go to Barefax. At the Fax I ran in to a few former Barbs dancers, they all said the same thing "no one goes to Barbs anymore, so it's hard to make money"

Anyone know why Barbs was closed this afternoon? (Monday june 20th) I wanted a quick beer today but found a locked door.

Has anyone directly asked one of Barbs owners, managers, bartenders or door girls about the possibility of closing? and the possibility of opening somewhere else? Maybe i'm wrong, but, I think the owners might keep the dancers in the dark for fear of them all scattering to different clubs before Barbs actually closes. I for one hopes Barbs can stay open for a long time or if it does get forced out, it opens again close by. I'm an out of town visitor and Barbs is the only Ottawa area club I go to.

Out-of-towner here. When I visit Ottawa my company puts me in a hotel downtown. It's usually about 200 yards from Barbs to my bed. I was wondering if anyone feels that Nuden is worth the cab ride versus the short walk to Barbs? Also, just how long would it take to get from downtown to Nuden by cab?

I live in ultraconservative Alberta, therefore I only go to strip clubs when I'm in Ottawa for business, and that's only 1-2 times per year. But when I go to the clubs I like to go crazy! I will spend $1000-$1300 per day. (my average trip is 5 days) The dollar amount does include everything: cover, dances, food and drinks for myself, dancers and sometimes other customers I meet. I don't look for "hook-ups" with the girls, so SPs don't interest me. I'm just looking for a fun party atmosphere and to squeeze a few boobs! I usually will take a new girl for at least 3 songs, and a favorite girl for 5-10 songs, but it's not unusual to take a favorite girl into the CR multiple times in a night.
