    A final, final comment. What I'm objecting to is two ideas in some of these posts: 1. that anyone could be intimidated from posting recommendations of non-spinners. This is the most friendly board I know of, unlike other boards where you can be accused of shilling if you post a good review, or of acting from maliciousness, jealousy, or professional bias if you post a bad one. So I fail to see how anyone can feel that their views aren't welcome or won't be well received. Besides, if Wrinkled's stats are accurate, and I don't doubt that they are, they show that quite a variety of women get recs here. 2. that those of us who like or prefer spinners are somehow deluded by the media into thinking that only certain kinds of women are beautiful, or that it's OK only to like them, and not others. My own tastes are broad, and are not dependent on anyone else's views or approval. That's it from me.

    Combining the last four or five categories as definite "non-spinners", that would make 24 spinners to 16 or 20 non-spinners, and assorted others. Not much of a difference. So, we have variety, as I and others have said.

    Sorry to intervene again. This will be the last time, I think, on this subject. I guess I object to the idea that my tastes have been shaped only by society's preferences, and that they aren't arrived at on my own. I feel that my judgements are independent of any social pressures to conform. And I don't think people on this board are guilty of stereotyping, anyway. There's a lot of variety in the recommendations, and that's exactly as it should be.

    Yes, Emma, I know, but I don't think there's any monopoly here of spinner recs. That's what I was disagreeing with. I can't believe that anyone on cerb could possibly think that it's not on to recommend "non-spinners". I'd be amazed if that was the case. And I agree with Naomi that body size and personality are not related. But If I want to rave about spinners, or about anyone else, I will.

    Thinking further on this, I've never felt there was any kind of orthodoxy on this board that only certain kinds of women were praiseworthy, so I disagree strongly that anyone might feel pressured to conform to a specific image of what is acceptable. One of the best things about this board is that you can be more or less uninhibited in praising the women that you really like, in whatever way they're beautiful. That's a freedom I value. Let that openness continue!

    I really like spinners. I don't feel any need to apologize for this. My preference is not a judgement of anyone else's preference. It's also not exclusive. I like lots of different kinds of women. But I really like spinners, and have met some fantastic ones lately, for which I'm happy and grateful. So each to his/her own taste. Let's agree to celebrate beauty, in all its variety. But let's also not feel that we can't have, and express, certain preferences.
