    I agree with the ban on these products. The quickest fix is to pay a bit of money to get the pro to come in and kill the weeds and save your back. Afterwards, your task is to get a healthy lawn. This will keep the weeds out. Maintenance is a snap then. All you need is feed your lawn regularly (I prefer Scotts) and remove any weeds you see on the lawn. There will be just a few.

    The only explanation is that they're probably add both together. 145 texts and 145 calls (rounded up to 155). Reason is always the same. Global warming. If it's food, they only give refund if you hadn't eaten it. AFAIK, people are getting lazier. Don't be surprise when these start to appear in dictionary. ...because they think it's cool???

    Here's my two cents. The point of this thread was to clarify the term GFE so that we all know what to expect from a GFE date. After a few posts/responses, it looks like we didn't get very far and "GFE" is still based on personal preferences. Personally, I think GFE should be service based and it should include DFK at the minimum. Oh, I like Pete's "GIE". I'm wondering who will mention it first in their advertisements. For most shy guys (like myself), they do prefer the GIE service.

    I've never buy v1 of anything. The same goes for Playbook. Hopefully, its v2 addresses all complaints. WRT Flash support, Apple does not want it in for reason to protect its App Store. It wants users to get apps from Apple. I think the only way Apple will reconsider Flash is when it loses its big lead in the mobile and tablet space.

    I'm with Nala here. I've tried the Mac but couldn't stand it and since returned to Windows and Linux. One thing I like about the Mac is its design/look. As we all know, having look alone doesn't last forever.

    It's best to explore the Settings and disable the location tracking in some of the apps. It is a hassle, but they make it our responsibility to turn certain features off.

    For this reason, I have been hesitating in getting an iPad. When I go somewhere, I sometimes leave the smartphone at home on purpose.

    I am in the same situation as Meg. Both my cerb and real names are pretty short. I only get annoyed when someone tries to lengthen my name. I just don't get why some people would do that.

    See if disabling the AutoComplete Settings feature helps. It's in Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete Settings.

    I say not. Nagging can stop the blood flow to my brain instantly. It gives me a bad headache. I agree with JoyfulC that some just asked for it. But I dislike nagging.

    Check to see if your TV has DLNA support. If yes, all you need is to set up the Windows to stream media files directly to your network enabled TV. No wiring needed from computer to your TV. Very clean setup.

    I don't know if mine falls into the category of weirdest gift ever received. Years ago, I received a nice designer Italian made belt from an ex. She told me that it meant to tie me up. Not long after, we went our separate ways and became closest friends.
