[quote] To use a tennis analogy, I played all four corners in an attempt to interview clients. I hit up escort friends of mine with long-terms regulars, old clients who were articulate and thoughtful and guys Iâ??d never met who had contacted me with sex work-related questions. I figured the client viewpointâ??the missing piece, would be easy to obtain. After all, Iâ??d had many a deep and intimate conversation with clients about sex workers and the negative way that clients were viewed in our culture. They openly shared their feelings about paying for itâ??what it meant culturally and what it felt like in the context of their lives. Men who thought of themselves as powerful came to me stripped of their routine status and its burdensome accessories. They wanted to tell their secrets. Theyâ??d crawled up my stairs in marabou slippers and a pink spandex thong, glided around my pole in the living room. They wanted to share their innermost desires and act them out. But, when I sent along my questions, I was met with silence. I guess I was supposed to disappear in a puff of stripper-smoke. I guess they were put off by my confrontational, searing inquiries. It was one thing to tell me stories about their cancer-stricken wives and college-bound daughters while I listened in a fishnet bra by the paid hour. It was another to type their story in print. I was told my questions were too â??hard.â? The irony is not lost on me. Iâ??d nearly given up when Max finally responded. He agreed to do the interview if it were 100% anonymous. I thought of the NY broker wearing my dress in my living room, red-faced and trembling with terror at the thought of giving up control. I remembered telling him â??Stand up.â? I held his damp chin in my gloved hand and said to him, â??Youâ??re safe here.â? This was one of those moments. Maxâ??s gentle courage was by turns surprising and tender as he flipped from sex worker to client. I was inspired by his vulnerability. I hope you are too. Likely no. Linkedln is a social site (think Facebook) geared towards 'professional'. A great site for posting your resume, business networking and recommending co-workers etc.

Here is a wonderful Ted Talk about The Power of Introverts. -
If you rest your little finger over the thumb of the other hand palms inwards the thumb of the other hand will rest on a spot in your inner wrist. This is a acupressure point for headaches. Massaging this point on either wrist will help alleviate the pain.

I want to add one little unknown fact about P411, you can pay for a lifetime membership instead of a monthly fee.

Unfortunately I can't say I have any tips to convince him. Short of having a dinner date with a SP you are into and having her work her magic. As for regulation, would he object if both of you were in New Zealand or Australia or Germany or Aruba or Nevada where it is regulated ?

Race and preference
etasman2000 replied to piano8950's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
When first reading the title i was like "yah! totally prefer the 10km versus the 25km marathon" I suspect its all about individual exposure and preferences with culture playing a small part. I say a small part mostly because the world is much smaller now. The Internet has open hidden corners of the world to all of us. -

Yes definitely. A SO is just another aspect of the SP's live. It makes the SP who they are. -

Prostitution laws need to address online solicitation: chief

If the exchange of money is only for non-sexual companionship it isn't considered prostitution. Hence the disclaimer. -
Prostitution laws need to address online solicitation: chief

I actually advocate the same wording especially if there is a remote expectation of said SP visiting the US. Helps reduce border crossing issues. -
Since my picture has been use to scare young children into eating their spinach i rather avoid the whole picture thing.......

Asshole client argues with SP over money, loses job
etasman2000 replied to Phaedrus's topic in In the news
Is this true ? Wasn't there new laws in place in the US to domestically prosecute US citizen engage in prostitution outside of US. The closes reference I can find is the PROTECT Act of 2003. -
I would say that most SP in Ottawa (local and visiting) welcome MF couples although they would require the female partner contact them to avoid 'surprising complications'.

Transgender Miss Universe Canada contestant disqualified
etasman2000 replied to etasman2000's topic in In the news
That would cause a different set of problems. "Were you BORN a female" refers solely to the physical sexual organs someone is born with which may not be who they are today. With that question organizers would have to accept Female-2-Male contestants which I doubt is the intent either. There is also semantic issues to address as there is a distinction between Sex and Gender although society tend to lump both together. -
