    Yes, we help each other out on this board. Yes and no. Sometimes we could be restricted on what we answer. For example there is a "Do Not Review List"; some sites are taboo here on Cerb; and certain organizations have asked members to keep some information about them restricted. In the months I've been on I would say isolated incident.

    Quite true......Canada is more stringent, much more stringent compared to the US. The USA Patriot Act tipped that scale.

    Samsung D880 supports duo SIMs although the reviews of the phone have been average at best. Or use a DuoSim adapter.

    Being in Ottawa it is common to rub shoulders with folk holding security clearances, they are just cagey or talk in generalities when it comes to their jobs. It is something that comes with the territory. Or use an euphemism: independent social worker, body works therapist.... [Note: Not saying it is easy having a double life, just that there are strategies to make it palatable]

    Above every post there is a gray bar with the day, time of post, number of post within the thread and a scale. The scale is sandwich between Agree and Disagree. Click Agree to increase the posters's reputation. Disagree to reduce.

    Been a happy Adium (http://adium.im/) user for ages now. Only negative is the lack of video chat on jabber. For that I still go back to iChat when we have group meetings.

    It is interesting that so far only the hobbiest have chimed in.... Now, Poker wasn't clear if he took her there as a client or as a friend. As a client I would expect her to stay with me for a good deal if not most of the time. And personally 'double dipping' in this situation would be an assault of my trust. As a friend go nuts. Either way some level of social courtesy applies.

    Yes to both. As a general observation I have found the SP community as one with the largest group of non judgemental individuals around. They also seem to excel as communicators. Both these qualities are attractive ones to me.

    opinions have changed......in the past turn off, now most folks leave them on. if it is old i would turn off. keep the moving part stationary unless in use. plus save on some energy just my 2 cents

    Pay-as-you-go from either 7-11 or PetroCanada. No need to show any form of ID unlike the hassle Fido/Rogers/Bell makes you go through. You can program it to say it is owned by your handle. 7-11 SpeakOut sometimes runs specials where $100 would give you a basic phone and 500 mins talk time. Normally the phone would set you back $50. 7-11 minutes expire in 365 days unlike the normal 60 days you get from other providers. 7-11 uses the Rogers network, while PetroCanada uses Bell's. Just a happy customer.

    Rugby player have better endurance, less stoppage in rugby. Plus they are more use to close physical contact, scrum and min equipment does that :wink:
