I agree, so many ppl send txts, emails or pms.. And I can respond to them SOMETIMES.. but usually my phone is forwarded to a receptionist/phone person.. So its impossible to know if she is available asap or is in a call or has a prior bookings.. So just a friendly reminder, give us a call directly and you will get the info you want, immediately and with alot more clarity and detail than if I am driving and have to pull over to answer a txt.. Charlie was asked to leave for a very good reason. So very glad she found a new place to work. Maya was asked to go back by Phoebee, and she was being loyal to her. Even though she is no longer the owner of the agency I guess she has some kind of friendship with her. No hard feelings towards her. WE do have resources, and we do keep very good records of bad clients. We have a few things other things we do that ensures the ladies safety. And if a client tries to pull anything, we can, and have called the police and they took care of things very quickly. To be honest we Rarely have any problems with clients, but it still happens from time to time clients want to grab their money back and run after a call, or show up high. And they are turned away, but wouldnt it be a good thing if we had a list that everyone (in the industry) was entitled to? We could add the numbers to our phone list and just avoid these guys like the plague. There is very little downfall to this.

I can tell you for certainty most clients do not want to give out their place of work.. we are pretty diligent on how we screen, but if we were to go that route, we would cut out about 90% of the market. But this isnt about that.. this is about sharing information.. and I think everyone would benefit from it.

You are 100% right, I did open up about a client who was a bad date and was talking smack on another board. It was wrong that I said anything about him. It never should have happened.. It didnt however jeapordize anyone, What I did was echo what others actually were saying about him. Again, I was pissed at him going off and I lost my cool and I retaliated and have learned from that. Here's the thing.. Honestly I am not interested in personal information of the female escorts.. And I agree they should have the section that way. What I am suggesting is a NEW section that is a bad date section that is open to agencies and sps alike. I'm sorry to disagree with you, but a bad date can happen to ANYONE. We co-operate with police, we share info as much as we can with anyone who asks, and keep impecible records. But there is only so much we can do, and some of the ppl that we have had problems with, NOBODY would have been able to see them coming. Again I will reiterate that we have a tremendous amount to offer SPs in the line of information about dangerous clients, and annoying waste of timers that its current. (We turn away on average 20 ppl a day)

Thats great, but what about us (agencies) benefitting from the safety of sharing the bad date info. I for one have probably more to offer than anyone else on cerb with an enourmous blacklist of bad dates, no shows rip offs, drunks, drug addicts, guys with guns , obvious STDS ect. And for the safety there should be some kind of amendment to these rules for established agencies. Its a matter of safety. Just another thing, I had an SP call me to ask me about a warning I had posted in the SP only section (when I had access a while ago) about a bad outcall. I saved her a driver fee and probably a really bad encounter. If the ladies want to dish about things in private, thats cool, but there should be a section where we ALL (sps, and Agencies) can share info about bad/violent encounters. It only makes sense.

Actually Txt and Phonecalls are not the same. Alot of time either myself or one of my receptionists are driving. Do you think it makes sense to pull over to have a txt conversation? Speaking of modern devices, there's this nice invention called a bluetooth..lol That way we arent breaking the law or putting ppls lives in danger, and at the same time you dont think we are rude for not answering your txts promptly. (you would not believe the hissy fits I get from some guys when we dont answer their txts within a min) Hey it's your right to contact us the way you want, doesnt obligate us to respond. In our case its also about the fact that my phone is forwarded to my receptionist and she simply doesnt get the txts, I do. So I tell ppl to simply call the phone if interested. If not then they werent really that interested to begin with. Just the fact that someone would be so insistant on how they want to txt instead of phone, to me is a great way to screen out an undesireable client. If they are in a meeting, they can call when they are out. I can and will respond when I can, but if someone really wants info asap the phone system is the best way to go.

Here's another issue with Txts and Emails, and I know some of you guys won't like or agree with what I have to say about this. ALOT (not all, but a very high percentage of ppl) of txt messages and email requests are basically tire kickers. Just sniffing around and window shopping and in many cases are not truely serious. Many of them end up to be last minute cancellations or no shows. So normally if they are unwilling to call, its not gonna happen. Another big reason is without hearing their voice, there are alot of vibes and tones and you can miss. You hereif they sound drunk, or not all there. So from safety point of view it's a bit less secure. Another reason for the phone call is we, (and I am sure many providers) log numbers of ppl that are no shows, or are aggressive, (we have had a few lately unfortunately), or rude and ignorant ppl, or guys are drunks or have brought drugs into their calls. By going through emails that is circumvented. For us we will answer a txt and ask the client to call. If they can't at the time, I will give basic info and tell them if they are interested to call so my receptionist can organize things for them. I do understand the convienience of email or txting. But in our opinion the security measures outweigh the convienience factors.

It's a huge problem in Ottawa. Which is why we keep really good records, a no show is an automatic ban. Someone who is cancellation we will note it, and if it happens again we ban them. We really dont like taking advanced bookings, because of the high cancellation/no show ratio. We dont book via email or txt, because we want to actually talk to the client and get their vibe. Anyone can be anyone by txt or Email.

Perhaps if this a Warning it should be put in the Warning section instead of the general Discussion session.
