  1. Not sure if they have been said or not but.. "with each passing moment is a moment to start again........................there ..........you just misssed it.....try again....... there.. now!" "no one ever remembers second place" "I will judge the the person I was and the character of my life by the people who show up at my funeral" and last but not least.. "life is a special journey and it's not only how you live life that makes it special it's those you meet along the way.. the other travellers" thats for most of the people here. :) peace!
  2. Brother, it's okay to feel hurt. It's the only guarantee in life that each of will go through some form or version of tough times. Just try not to make any decisions while you are angry. They typically lead you down the wrong path. All of us have done it, I'm sure most us didn't like any of the outcomes. We are just trying to level set you. Life will come to balance again once you get through you emotions..Good luck and take care.
  3. Almost all of my friends I have helped through mortgages started with a fixed 5 year term and rate. Once they went to renew they were in a better position to access products the banks don't really want you to. Either way good luck! Happy home buying!
  4. You are extending your own pain brother.. Whatever you hope to achieve, it's not going to happen or work. You will just end up feeling even worse in the end. When she figures out what's really going on the only emotions from her I suspect you are oging to provoke are hurtful ones to you. Your'e angry and your heart is sore right now. Just take it day by day. You'll get through it. Start something new to occupy your mind while you adjust. Try to consider what we are saying to you.. we are strangers and we are not trying to sugarcoat anything. Look through some of the other advice again and find something that might work for you.. Take care.. be well..
  5. The question is quite simple really. You enter the club and sit down, before you have a chance to order a drink you get approached a few times. Perhaps by someone you might actually want to chat with or go private with later once you are settled. How do you say "no maybe later" and not have to get up and go get them after without feeling like a total jackass lol Is it as simple as saying "come back later, I want to settle in first" ? That seems like a chemisty killer to me though. Thoughts?
  6. I guess the key question is, what is your budget? No need to post it but here are some options for you. Lower end of the price spectrum: Cuba: Veradero beach, any of the Spanish or Canadian owned hotels, I have been to a few. The beaches are world class, white powder sand crystal blue water. The properties are wonderful. Stick to the 5 stars though. Food has always been inconsistent in Cuba but the Havana Club rum should make you forget about your meals. Activities are reasonably priced. (fishing etc hobbying is as well but I would never dare down south! just me :)) Hope I don't get blasted for that comment. Safe overall, Cuba is very protective of tourists in the tourist areas. People are very nice and genuine. Dominican Republic: Santo Domingo. Was there a while back at the Don Juan beach resort. I am sure it is renamed but most agents will know it. It is two block from the Casino. The property was ok. Food was ok. Beach was above average. Activities were plenty and cheap. Went scuba and fishing there. Prepare to brave the gauntlet of vendors and working beach babes there. As for leaving the resort, I would not recommend it without an armed escort. Was followed a few times by shady characters but the hotel guards will typically escort you to another property if you ask. Probably would not repeat, I have been there a few times on business at upscale hotels, save your money and go elsewhere. Jamaica: Beaches Ocho Rios. Went there when the property was new. Food was fantastic, beach was average. Activities were plenty and everything was included except fishing. Pools were exceptional. When it comes to leaving the resort the guards will ask (more like beg) you no to unless you go with a tour company. I did anyway and saw what they meant, I was immediately approached by shady characters most were trying to sell drugs but I also think they were sizing me up. I hear the property is not like it used to be but Sandals offer great deals there. Something to consider. The resort there is very safe, they have a small army protecting it as it is also a stopover for many of the huge cruise lines. Mid Range $ Cancun: Stayed at the JW Marriott. Not an all inclusive but have to mention it. It is a bit higher on the price scale but it’s a wonderful property a true five star. Great overall, food fantastic but a-la-carte so will cost you more but the Marriott website does offer meals plans for this property. The clubs nearby are great and you can definitely have fun there they are as much fun as Vegas bars but cheaper. Most are meat markets for tourists. ;) The beach is on the weak scale as a hurricane from a few years ago devastated the entire beach front there. Activities are extra, definitely cost more than the three above but the level is service is better. Now for good news! The property is also attached to a normal Marriott brand is almost as nice and you can use the services and restaurants at both locations. There are probably 4 or 5 other properties on the strip I would stay at there. Recent news of the cartel wars is worrisome a bit but tourists are not really the target. Your call though. Puerto Vallarta: Paradise Village Beach Resort and Spa, A great overall place to stay. 20 min outside of Puerto Vallarta is Nuevo Vallarta. A strip of newer properties. A great all inclusive. Nice beaches. Good food. Fishing and Scuba were not included but were great. I dive around the world when I get the chance and if you are a diver, in two days, swam with humpback whales, dolphin, giant manta and sharks. All wild and unexpected. Thank god I am only yummy to humans! The clubs are great. It is a party spot. Start at Carlos O’Brien’s Pub by the time you leave that one tell me if you can still speak! High End Bahamas: Atlantis. It is rated top 3 in the world for a reason. It’s pricey but worth it. Beaches, superb, food wonderful, activities plenty. Double the price of all of the above but you won’t want to leave. Only one problem. Everyone else also loves this place. Super packed. There are other properties along the beach that are less expensive and you would have a great time at those as well. I would have trouble staying at them since I already stayed at Atlantis. British Virgin Islands: Virgin Gorda, Bitter End Yacht Club. It is paradise. Wonderful, secluded, breathtaking. You would swear it was created the day before you arrived. Sits on a stunning private island and is stop for the rich and famous. If you swim across to the next island.. (okay so you need to be a good swimmer) you will land on Necker Island, Richard Branson’s private resort. The water is a 100 ft deep and crystal clear. All transport is done by boat. It is about an hour by boat from the airport. Which by the way, my pilot look liked a stoned Nick Nolte and I am sure he thought he was still flying mission over Vietnam. The airline I flew was a huge carrier so if you get motion sickness take your gravol before leaving Puerto Rico. You have to fly through Puerto Rico only way to get there unless you have a private jet. It is beyond safe, I’m not sure they know what crime. I only mention it cause it is truly one of the world’s gems no one has ever heard about. Now for the kicker. When I tell people about it they always ask me how much does it cost? It is pricey not by Dubai standard but it is pricey. The answer is… if you buy a Mercedes you are not really going to ask how much does it cost to fill the tank. Kind of the same thing but I think they starting posting their rates on their website. I travel for work and my other hobby is travelling as well, pm if you have any other place you are thinking of.. chance are I might have been nearby..and yes I don’t travel alone, usually with old friends I grew up with who are now scattered around. We use these trips as our annual guy treks. Btw.. There is always Vegas!.. The deals there this year should be written into the history book. I say we have a Cerb meet and greet at the Playboy club at the Palms.. First round is on me!
  7. I absolutely agree, extensions or a sexy wig is fun. Sending you a hug for your hair and bigger hug for your doggie
  8. Been on a few. Here is a quick review. Lava: Met a couple of nice women. There truly are a lot of nice women on there, more seeking a relationship and long term . Does cost money but works, wouldn’t suggest for casual though, although others may beg to differ. Ashley Madison: Met someone on my first day there, definitely most people have a mission there. I’m sure if I stayed on there could have met more. Some drama if you don’t mind that. As noted above, getting caught by their hubby is a higher probability. True story but one of my good friends caught his wife on there and did show up to the restaurant. I wonder if it is truly a small world and it was cordsboy? Heavy on the NSA side but a 100 guys for every 1 girl so you had better stand out some how or call Harry Potter and borrow his magic wand! Plenty of Fish: Never used it but many of my friends have although most are looking for long term. They have been weeding through there for weeks. The problem is that there are so many “creepers” on there that it is ruining it for the nice guys. The only difference between POF and the two above is that POF has the cheap ones and the other two have ones with money. Either way the freaky guys are haunting us. CL: Met a hottie on there looking to play out a fantasy. (okay I did but not telling ! ;)) Posted on there a few times and my inbox was full of span and autoresponders. Quite a few SPs who never heard of review boards, kind of scary. As for the erotic section, Cowboy Kenny can teach you a clinic on his blog. I would suggest reading CKs blog before you venture into the unknown.
  9. Had to edit my post!.. I better proof my writing more after a long day!
  10. Just put all the names in a hat and pick one.. I doubt you will go wrong but it looks like Erin is offering a challeneg and I hear Dr. Vanessa is in town. From the reviews, Vanessa should classified with special distinction. If you go through all the amazing review of all the lovely sexy ladies here you will be even more confused like trying to pick a diamond when you are being offered a 100 to choose from.
  11. The trace is possbile, there are a number of ways to do it many of them listed above. Some take faster than two weeks :) thats just paperwork ad authorizations. Either way I would not reccomend it. Since there are threats this could escalate even further with information that could be retrieved. My advice, file a police report on the threats. They can do their own search but I doubt they would care who is doing the blocking. They will be more concerned about the threats
  12. Definately very insightful for this cerb posting newbie!.. thanks Erin xo
  13. Either way you will be forced to pay back a minimum to the HBP on your RRSP, but max out your mortgage payment. Here are some ways to eliminate your mortgage in 10 years or less.. 1- If you need to lock the rate in the first five years then do so but try to put more than just the normal amount each month. 2- The amount you pay each month doesn't change each month so increase the frequency. eg $1000 month. change it to $250 /week as an example. Huge interets savings as more will go to the principle. 3- After the term is expired no matter what they offer your to re-sign (the mortgage people banks and brokers work on comission) convert it to a home equity line of credit (it's a low variable interest rate but you and not paying future interest) 4- Put the max down that you feel comforatble with each month. No need for the weekly at this stage since interest is calculated on the outstanding amount. Even if you maintain the same amount this is better than what you had before but work it out based on your needs. 5- Max out your RRSP but on pay only the min back in the HBP (home buyers plan). You will see the formula on the standard tax forms. You will see the amount you owe drop very quickly over the years. I know not everyone can max out the way I described above but there are happy balances.. maybe you can eliminate you mortgage in 12 or 14 in stead of 25. I am not a financial planner by trade but part of the family business is in real estate investments. I used the above methods and and I am a happy person. Most tax preparers will know how to manage the tax implications as the HBP is one of the most popular federal programs There is also another option which is more complicated but you can do a "non-arms length mortgage" to yourself from your RRSP. In essence the investment you are buying is you. You loan yourself the money to buy a property. google it.. it requires some legal documents and a willing bank/trust company to administer the loan to yourself. Basically all the interest you pay (short of the bank fee) gets paid back to you. Why pay the bank when you can pay yourself. No bank will ever tell you about this program so you need to research your bank. When you google it you will see a list of canadian banks that participate. It helps if you have a nice stash in your RRSP. There are many other ways to do it but this are the easier ones. pm me if you have any questions... Now back to our wonderful ladies ;) and ladies invest wisely. Even with cash you can invest safely!
