I agree, that's the kind of usage I envisaged. As for the issue with minors, I don't see the problem unless you want to argue that the entire internet suffers from the same drawbacks. If you monitor your child or set up his/her browser so that adult things can't be viewed then it should be a problem. You can't tweet a picture but only a link so that link should be blocked if the right filters are put in place by the parents shouldn't it?
