As others have stated, people took offence when you generalized instead of providing facts, as well you did say you were venting(in post number one first line). I took your post as a personal attack (as well did some others), as yes I only use professional phots in my advertising and yes I photoshop (I admit it and am proud of it). Im selling a brand, one I invest in and yes I'm proud of what I represent and stand for. You get one chance for a first impression, how you choose to make it is up to you. How one lady runs her business, whether you like it or not is really none of anyones concern but hers. There will always be someone in this business or any business who over does something to an extreme, its best to just ignore it - move on and focus on ones own business. When we start to care what others do, it takes away from the focus on our own personal business. If you want to start a post like this, maybe think of using some real examples in the future instead of "some ladies".

Your suggestion here, sets the premise that it is ok to borrow or copy another Sp's hard work. That is 100% wrong on every level. If ladies would invest is a GOOD web designer, they could come up with their own concept and style instead of recycling what someone else already calls their own. If you don't write your own text, search the heck out of what is written for you as unless you pay a ghost writer, it was probably copied from another lady. I take great offence to what you have written here, as it implies its ok to be lazy and borrow from another. Just because someone likes my website, does not mean its a good fit for someone else, when I have personalized it to reflect ME. A personal site should be YOUR own, and something that reflects you. You are the one who controls how much or how little is on it and what direction you want it to take. Working with a web designer helps with that and will work with you to get what you want out of your site. Do what the rest of us with sites you admire do, hire a web designer to help you create your own magic. This topic annoys me as my site and ads have been copied / stolen numerous times this year and threads like this make it seem like the thieves were in the right to do so. Do you know how much work it takes to get your copied stuff removed off the internet? How would you feel if it was YOUR content and style being copied all the time? Hard to be original and stand out when that happens.

. In reality yes we all provide a fantasy or an escape in what we do. However the reality is this business can be a VERY cruel one and the real truth is very visible on other boards which allow it. This site is a nice and friendly place where the cruel reality of negative reviews or comments do not exist. You would be surprised at how many new people wild believe a post from someone with a high post count (true or not). If we don't not the fact this BS goes on, it will only get worse and people need to be made aware of it.

Maybe you should take a gander over to the "REVIEW BOARDS" and read the kind and lovely comments from men who admit to never have seeing a certain companion yet tear her photos to shreds. It exists everywhere and the ones who have never met ladies are usually the worst with their comments. Not everything in this business is fairies and rainbows.

As someone who invests 110% in their business and marketing I feel I need to say something. Yes, I use professional photos on my website and ads, yes they are photoshopped to make me look my best(there is no harm in evening my tan or whitening my teeth). NO I have never been walked out on and I frequently get told I look better in person than my photos. I don't lie about using photoshop and I have no issue with it all all, I've been upfront on numerous occasions about being glammed up in my pics. I also tweet a lot of selfies (which are untouched), however i would never use them in my advertising. If one is going to be professional and treat this as business you need to invest in it. Once you have a professional shoot (in a studio or hotel, with hair and makeup) you don't go back. There is nothing better than being made to feel beautiful for an afternoon and have others make you feel your best. Your photos speak louder than your ads and they are usually the FIRST thing potential clients look at. I mean there are ladies who have pics with piles of laundry in the background or a full garbage can (you'd never get pics like that from a professional) I don't judge ladies who can't be bothered to take professional photos, but I don't think those of use who do should be judged either. Don't knock it till you try it.

The plane that crash landed last night was my outbound flight this morning, I'm glad everyone is ok but being in airport limbo sucks....

I agree with what Emma has said, younger gentleman usually are immature, clueless and lacking respect, as well their emails are usually atrocious. I personally have found more mature gentlemen know what they are looking for, have manners and well are less likely to cross the line by asking to see me off the clock or if they can come for free cause they are that dam hot. Young men, if you think telling me your attractive makes me want to see you, your wrong. It makes you sound arrogant. As for the race thing, when I owned my agency (pardon my terms here) the black girl who worked for me did not wish to see black men, her reasoning was the pimp card. While its wrong to generalize, she was in the biz for many years and saw who she was comfortable with. You can't sum all black men in the same boat so to say, but it was her preference and I respected it 100%. How some men prefer and only see blondes, she preferred not to see men from her background.
