"Best of" threads
Annessa replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
oh I'm certainly not placing all the fault on the thread for that one case, I was just using it as an example as to how "best"s can be misinterpreted...as for reasearch...we always tell a new member that the research tool for specifics of a lady in his hometown are a great thing...This particular member just happened to do a search for "abs" & "flat stomach" and "toned" and the thread popped up. I agree he should have done more research and looked at the rest of my pics. Theres no doubt about that. -
No shows - what am I doing wrong? Why?
Annessa replied to oneONone's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
Angela beat me to this one.....some agents or indies will get scared off by new clients who want long sessions on a first time basis...and it is also very hard for an agent to "sell" to a girl from their agency that this is a trustworthy client if the agent has never dealt with them before or received payments from them. Devil's advocate, you may have been dealing with a not-so-professional agency...in that case, there are many independent workers willing to be honest with you from the start. Like angela said, start small and be realistic....throwing longer hours around wont make ppl take you more seriously...it may have the opposite effect....and even if they do follow through, as Ang said, whos to say you might not be able to deal with your $1000-companion? -

Communicating law struck down!
Annessa replied to Bethany Westbrooke's topic in Legal discussion, cases & questions
exactly....the attention is now geared away from prostitution itself..but rater on the means that the previous law pushed women into hiding (and eventually more dangerous situations because of this law), and in hopes for the new laws to allow those on the streets and in the public eye to feel they can work with the same rights as a human being. This is a milestone. Tonight I went out with three other worker-friends and we toasted to this milestone. It may seem a small step for some, but for us it filled us with a warm sense of community and (humble) power. Lets all start writing those emails to the ones who deserve it today! -
Having had this happen recently turning my 1 post ad into a 5 page debate as to whether my new policies for new clients were right or wrong...I completely agree. If someone wants to contribute positively to a lady's ad posting, thats fine, and yes, gets it the welcomed attention it deserves...however negative debates in a lady's ad do not do anything in her favor, even if it is bumped to the top of the page.

Communicating law struck down!
Annessa replied to Bethany Westbrooke's topic in Legal discussion, cases & questions
True but I believe this one was the first that had results of the event in it no? Either way I have been following all the threads and I am happy to see the winds of change slowly sweeping over Ontario :) -
Another good penny saver on getting condoms for free is at your local sexual health clinic......left alone in a room with a giant fishbowl of condoms....hmmm...lol. I also stock up on condoms at Gay bars when I'm out...they refill those stations a LOT...and the Aids Committee of Ottawa has started bringing out bowls and handing out of all kinds of fun stuff on certain nights....tiny packets of lube (perfect for outcalls), female condoms, flavoured condoms, latex-free condoms and new brands of large-sized condoms to spice things up selection-wise.

For pictures I would recommend making a profile on ModelMayhem.com, its a model/photographer networking site, its easy to find photographers looking for TFCD (Time for CD of pictures) subjects....you shoot for free, they get a model for free...everybody wins :) I just shelled out $200 for a friend who did the photos featured in my avatar to shoot me and a friend...but my other friend backed out of the shoot and he still expected to be paid in full...argh. Next time I'm using ModelMayhem. The only real overhead costs I have for work are nails (which I only get filled when they absolutely are looking like crap, lol), hair extensions, the occasional new outfit and Gas for driving to outcalls...oh and my phonecards and internet connection. I do love lingerie shopping tho...however I was pleasantly surprised when my favorite regular brought me a $150 gift card for La Vie en Rose. VERY thoughtful gift. Needles to say thats one expense that will be taken care of for the next little while. And I'm not saying that any of these material things like nails or hair accessories or lingerie are absolutely needed in order to feel sexy....but I must admit that when I get a new lingerie set or new hot stockings and my hair and nails are looking good, I feel as though I am oozing sex appeal......and that generally reflects in my session...hehe ;) Other costs.....Child-care: Sometimes I have to pay a babysitter for my son when I go out on Outcalls in the evening. as for health and fitness, I've been debating taking up Bikram yoga again...I used to argue that I didnt have the time for it...now I really have no excuse.

YAAAAR matey!, ye posts put a gust in me spinickerrr! You're a good mate to have aboard! xoxo -
I realize this thread is old but I was searching one of the poster's post history and came upon it... my advice is always..you can send as many emails as you like (the gent who I'm researching unfortunately asked for a very last minute and late encounter) but if you dont hear back you should pick up the phone and call them...it very easy to search contact info by using their SP name in a search and referencing their latest ad....as well as their availability. thats not to say that if you send off a message that they may not be available...they might be! but you'll never know until you take the plunge and call....and leave a message about the nature of your call...maybe not your contact but perhaps she will get your message, like your (hopefully) polite tone on the other end and answer even if she has decided not to take more calls...you just never know. but definitely say more than "are you available tonight?"...and definitely use the many means available for you to contact her.

Thank you for the clarification Mod....the issue I was dealing with was male members seeking the feedback from other male members about girls who are X or into X" I thought to myself..."well if hes asking the guys and a lady PMs him..is this unsoliceted because he only asked the guys? the grey area however (as noted) is sometimes the guys may not know that a certain provider is into a certain fetish and some ladies may not want to advertise this. Thats where it gets tricky if a lady Pms someone privately to say they are all for something without putting it out there...however the member may turn around and get mad because it was "unsolicited" because he was only asking the guys....when in fact few may share the same quirk or know of gals that do. If we can all agree that if a question (no matter who is asked publicly) may be addressed by a lady via PM (an NO other means) I think that will save a lot of grey areas.......as long as she does so politely and not seeeming to haggle them for a booking. RE: the "lazy posts" of guys asking for any girl in their area who is "x type" (that could easily be searched) who is available at X time....I think many will agree that the first advice before recommending anyone is "the search option and ads section for today is a wonderful tool"

Are inns okay for hobbyists?
Annessa replied to urbankid's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I was going to comment on the paper thin walls but someone else beat me to it...i remember a while ago a client getting a good deal on a rooming-house style B&B in the market...it was a day-time call for a poly event.....we could hear the maid cleaning the room nextdoor so we had to blast the hockey game on the tube....total mood killer and neither gal felt comfortable....especially with people passing by in the halls. Yo9u might be visiting but some local ladies may not be comfortable woth local establishments seeing them come & go A suggestion: Comfort Inn has very reasonable prices if you're looking for an Inn...and many ladies are comfortable visiting there as it has CC policies and sometimes numerous rooms so that you dont have to bump heads with nosy neighbors -
sorry J but you keep backpedaling that you are happy that girls are charging x amount successfully and agree with all that is being said when you are the one who started this thread stating the shock over girls charging more like they wouldnt make it far in this business. I realize that you may have caught yourself in a corner with this "debate" but for goodness sakes....stick to whatever opinion you have if you have it. Mind you, if I was in your position I would perhaps start apologizing instead of kissing butt. as for your advertisements, if you really rather would have your girls represent your agency in a classier way you wouldnt stand for derogatory ads or post them because the girls wanted them....even if they *did* actually want those ads worded that way on CL, it would be up to you to stand up for their dignity and your agency's reputation by rewording them. Your ladies should be your number one concern...I'm not saying that they're not, but an experienced agent should know what kind of client those sort of ads attract personally I dont think CL is the problem.....everyday there are plenty of girls who can advertise themselves there with class......its the "worlds biggest slut...no restrictions!" posts that end up lumping everyone who advertise there into a certain category at times. yes an agent works FOR the ladies....but at the same time you have a company with a reputation and if the ladies are the ones wording their ads as such you should guide them in the right direction......thats not being controlling, thats looking out for them and their image.....if, that is, you truly would rather the ads be classier.

actually if you read my analogy correctly you will see that I didnt differentiate the lesser value items as being less quality at all.... the glasses will still work and do the job properly....some just like to pay more for a certain brand name or style both restaurants will still leave your belly feeling full....some just have a more expensive menu. sorry if you jumped to the wrong conclusions...but in the end all I was saying is that both comparisons will survive in their business...and its not up to us to try and tell them what they should be charging
-
exactly. yes my post was deleted and in the future I will let my post stand alone instead of attaching it to a quote that may be deleted... bottom line I dont think anyone is reading too much into the OPs post but to some, I'm sorry but it comes across as "touring girls are too pricy compared to what ottawa's market or our agency will charge you" and sort of comes across as a shameless self promo. when in reality, touring girls and local girls or even one girl to another cannot be compared to one another based on worth etc..... For example: everyone who has poor vision needs eyeglasses...perhaps some decide they want to buy theirs at lenscrafters...and other want to special order their set from a Dolce & Gabana Catalogue....one pair costs $90...the other $400....does one pair of perscription glasses do the job any better than the other?....NO, they're still glasses but its the style or the feel or the sense of fulfilment that having nice things may bring you.....you will still have 20/20 vision regardless....some just want to or are willing to pay more. Like another lady one said: everyone needs to eat..and some eat at Swiss Chalet and some eat at high end restaurants that serve foie gras... do the guys who shop at lenscrafters send a letter asking for $100 glasses instead of $400 ones because in their town they only pay X amount? so if they plan on sending them glasses they should therefore give them a $300 discount in their city? because they really NEED their glasses...? would you walk into a 5 star joint and demand a discount because the night before your wife and you had dined for $40 at Swiss Chalet (and had damn good house wine with it?)...and when they said no did you tell them their business wouldnt last long?...if so did the 5 star restaurant laugh when you siad you wouldnt return or ever get their business? I should hope so. I think we all know what I'm getting at.......our prices are not up for discussion, if some dont like it...shop elsewhere...even ladies who are less than $300 or local and $200 will always have someone saying they got it elsewhere cheaper....good for them! we are a privilege...a luxury...not a RIGHT

T.V. Shows u wish would go away

I cant believe no one has mentioned JERSEY SHORE??????? for god sakes...snookie and her drama-infested fame and "the situation" now on "dancing with the stars"??.....why is the media feeding this reality shows annoyance? *cries a bit inside* argh..if you're going to make a reality show...at least have it be something that doesnt make you have to re-live your high-school drama days with 20-something people in beach houses who cant be bothered to get jobs because their paid to act like children on TV and get to walk red carpets with *real* stars because of this brain-fart of a 'show' sorry for the rant but nothing makes me angrier at TV than the publicity that those idiots get. :P MTV will ban a music-video because a girl wears a short shirt and they claim the vid is "insulting to women"......personally I fond the annoying "snookie" far more an insult to women...yet you dont see MTV pulling that show anytime soon, lol ...-- to add to that I will also say that DOG: bounty hunter is a rediculous show......trailer trash dressed in BDSM/Biker gear tracking down (*gasp!*) runaway teenagers or other minor offences.....yes Dog, you've made it very far in the police system, lol.....the next episode will most likely be him rescuing a runaway cay from a high-up tree-branch -
exactly...I disagree with this point as well....even Sex workers in Ottawa who have heard of cops extending the olive branch will be cautious as there are always sketchy areas as to why and what team they really are playing for. about the ladies being truthful as to how much sex they are having on the job....this survey was conducted by a male outside the indurtsry....OBVIOUSLY the answers are not going to be truthful...find an article that was conducted by a retired escort or a lady with some attatchment to the industry and you will find way more truthful answers. There was a documentary and article not too long ago that brought x-workers into brothels in the states to interview the ladies...IMO this was the best approach ever to get the truthful answers because the women fel they could be open without being judged....even the highest rate escort in canada cant say that she doesnt expect her clients to expect *some* form of intimate contact. yes we can all say that our rate is for "our time"...and yes it is...but generally its to be expected that something intimate happen during that time period. bottom line I think the numbers were swayed greatly by who was being interviewed...and *especially* because of WHO was doing the interviewing...no one is going to be honest to a male they do not know who has no connection to the industry and has already set out to ignore the stereotypes of escorting. we provide pleasure for pay.........pleasure does not mean we sit and chat about the weather for the entire session......but it doesnt rule out the fact that we could spend have the session chatting or cuddling. I think this guy was just trying to be the first to have some form of breakthrough about escorting...unfortunately he failed miserably. just my two cents ...- my own *myths about escorting* to add: we are not all "ladies of the night"...in fact for many of us our work happens durring the 9-5 hours and very seldom do we choose to see clients after 10pm. :)
