  1. Was this an article from the states? I know that many schools here in Ontario already ask at the beginning of every school year for a school supply fee. I pay a $40 fee for my child at the beginning of every school-year to cover the things like matching duo-tangs etc etc. the kleenex-boxes and paper-towels however we have to bring in ourselves...but considering you can get those anywhere its not a big deal to me
  2. yup, I saw that one....very cool of him! (well oldspice in general I guess, hehe)
  3. actually I dont like commenting on retorts that I feel dont deserve attention and find "silly" ;)....gah! ya got me! (seeming as how I just did, lol) Thanks for the backing-up scotthecannuck....... and I had a great LOL at the "look at your status..." es on facebook...SO wnted to swipe it and use it as my status....but I was scared I might be "behind in the times" by doing so. hehe "SWAN-dive!";)
  4. those striped centipedes that have long legs and antenae but run really fast and usually lurk in dark places or basements.......anyone know what I'm talking about? *shivers just thinking about them*
  5. If it werent for Carrie Moon's PVR I would have pretty much zero TV to watch as I only have two chanels on my TV at home (by choice as I dont want to raise my kid addicted to "the tube") The shows I always look forward to watching when at our incall are: Hung (it keeps getting better it seems!) Criss Angel: MINDFREAK (I have a shameless crush on Criss Angel) Hot in Cleveland (man that Betty White is a real zinger! lol) and at home me and the kiddo love to watch WIPEOUT together...hehe
  6. I think a more realistic approach would be to say that 40% of a session consists of non-sexual interaction...or that 20% of the bulk of sessions sometimes consist of a social outing that may or may not end up in the bedroom after. But yeah I agree that the writer maybe didnt interview enough ladies in the same category or that the ladies may not be being truthful with whom he interviewed....I mean really, lets be realistic.
  7. no need to appologize... it IS definitely a no-no to text anyone you of the blue as you never know who may be checkin their phone etc....even if they are single at one point does not mean they might be attached at another point....some blackberries and iPhones display the message right away on the screen before the person has to check it....you never know who is looking and you never know what you may be interrupting.....PM is discrete....but as many said, if it isn't asked for, dont do it......the same should be applied to texts x10
  8. mariott on Queen has never given me any problems...and has no issues with people visiting late...nor me staying as a guest and paying via cash/ID. In this city there is no real excuse for alarm for certain places (ie. know your criminal code, ladies...very seldom are we doing anything illegal!)..but for some it depends on how you are paying and where you're from...for example, I have been relocated from Delta (because I was a "local resident" renting a room) to the crowne plaza...where they gave a a key-card floor room (22 and up) because of my 'situation" delta is fishy these days, they wont let you stay there if you live in Ottawa or gatineau regardless of how youre paying....and some member on here once admitted to them researching and supposedly knowing who was a worker and making odd remarks after these supposed workers had left, annoyed that they had pre-booked with no room after being sized up upon their arrival. seriously, there are more problems with kids partying on new years eve than with a worker (who might see maybe one client) renting a room arc is ok...yes you need to pass by the lobby...but if you do so like you're a secret agent trying to hide behind planters, then you cant blame them for thinking somethings up.....just act natural and tell your clients to do the same and no one will bother you.....really, its none of their business anyway. Some young hotel lobby kids with nothing better to do than plan "hero" will try and figure things out....if the hotel doesnt require an after-hours sign-in they your clients dont have to say what room they're visiting....we and we have a right to our privacy. some will argue that incall is illegal.....and yes in most circumstances it is...but I have once rented a room just for me and ONE client who was going to see me for an overnighter...and no one else, I didnt even advertise that i was doing hotel incalls....at this point it is two consenting adults making arrangements......but if I see one more client its considered a "common bawdy house". makes me angry when I miss out on $2500 because someone thinks my room is a rotating door when its not...grrr
  9. oh no! I sincerely hope you get you stuff back quickly! I remember Air Canada Losing my luggage...didnt get it till three days later, but that was *returning* from a trip...I cant possibly imagine arriving at my destination on tour with only the clothes on my back and having to work right away :( *keeping my fingers crossed for you to get your belongings swiftly delivered!*
  10. I go straight for the eyes....big warm listening eyes, gentle smiling eyes with a little sparkle and fun in them.....does that even make sense? lol i also am a real sucker for lips that have that little dimple leading from the nose to upper-lip....dimples in general charm the pants off me....and in many cases i mean that literally hehe ;) I like a man who leans in when we talk instead of leans back while I talk And theres always something about a man in a suit/uniform....but thats a whole other story....lol
  11. "Well behaved women never made history" and "Nobodys perfect...I'm nobody, therefore I'm PERFECT!" ;)
  12. well said scott........its true that any of us can go at any time without warning. I know this man did...no signs of sickness, nothing....heathiest guy for his age ever. Luckily I found out that the service is this saturday so I have some time to pay some last minute respects.
  13. As many people know i go to karaoke frequently....well tonight was a different sort of evening. sitting at the bar i ended up talking to a friend who mentioned a regular..."hey you know ****? the older guy who sang the oldies and Abba songs?" I happily replied "oh yeah! love that guy!" my friend regretted to tell me he passed away in his sleep the previous week. the first thing out of my mouth was "NO!!" as if my pathetic cry for injustice would make things somehow right....when i realized that no cry for unfairness would bring him back there were involuntary tears...then full on tears... once I had excused myself to the bathroom and collected myself i went outside for a cigarette to get some air....and one of the bartenders approached me and asked what had made me teary. i told him that I had just found out that he had died....and all he could say was 'yeah well he was a terrible tipper and he used to sometimes waive his empty water-glass at the end of the night...whatever, that was problematic for me" I couldnt stomach that someone had just died and all this server could do to comfort me was to say something petty about how he made his serving life 'difficult" I said...."I hope when i die unexpected that there aren't people shitting on me because i paid them a dollar too less at the bar...for goodness sakes!" I think this should be applied in all walks of life..........this is definitely making me re-evaluate my close relationships...we are only here for a small term, dont sweat the small stuff and love everyone and anyone who is in your direct reach, regardless of your opinions or clashings..... say what you mean to say to who you mean to say it to, because you never know if you'll get the chance to again. thanks for listening.....lets all drop our hates on here......its truly energy wasted towards something we could all bond though and share in. Lets not wait until its too late to recognize each other's bond...and for those who think this is a cheese approach, go for it. But I truly think that life is too short to sweat the small stuff. *huggs*
  14. I work with couples but require speaking to both parties beforehand as a requirement :)
  15. Sarah McLachlan - Full of Grace EDIT: doh! I thought you had to take the last letter of the SONG....my bad, lol
  16. aw *blush* thanks sweetie! ;) svelte or not I'm still happier for getting work based on my inner self and my personality than my outer self.
  17. hehe, yes one of the reasons I gave up on the modelling too was the lack of eating.....and being sent out of an interview and being told to come back when I lost an inch off my thighs. I like eating too :D lol
  18. When I was a teenager I spent my Summers working for a modelling agency in Manhattan, New York...I had dreams of being the next Devon Aoki but I never really ended up taking it seriously and my family didnt have much money to support my traveling etc.....so that eventually fizzled. Then when I went to college I took Graphic Design and dreamed of one day having my own GD agency that also supplied large scale paintings...perhaps my own Gallery (that park kinda came half true as I still dabble...no gallery or agency yet though) in the end though I just remember that if I was going to do anything I imagined myself being my own boss, working as a somewhat successful business-woman who dressed well on a day to day basis and her family was proud of for getting succeeding monetarily....that I would meet amazing people through my work and have the back-bone to stand up for myself when I mat the not-so-amazing people that I didnt need the business of. I'd have to say....most of that last one came true ;) hehe
  19. urggh...sorry but I really hate it when someone says "its the natre of this business...deal with it or pick a new line of work"....just because this kind of thing happens every now and then I dont think that its right and I dont think that we should give excuses to others to let this poor behaviour continue...as I feel those kind f guys are making a bad name for all hobbiests....I think some of the really great hobbiests out there will agree with that. how would you a a hobbiest think of a provider if we said "yeah sorry but I have to canel with you because I found someone who will pay me double" or found out in another thread that we were bragghing about a call that we just went on that paid us more than our rate when we had just called you and cancelled with a fake cough "*cough* cough*! I think I'm feel something coming on...I have to cancel"......know what I'm sayin? I dont think you would be too pleased either. And I think it would be an upsetting generalization to all the girls who work hard in this industry to say "well thats just the nature of hobbying....you cant trust who you book"
  20. I used to be tempted with Macdonalds breakfasts while I was on the run now if I skip my shake I try to get a Tim Hortons coffee (of if its a hot day an iced cap with milk instead of cream) with a bagel & Creme cheese and Tomato. other (less healthy) stops....i really like those Pesto McMini's with grilled chicken. as for Baconators....i had an obsession with those once...glad I stopped that train in its tracks, lol I also really love the chicken teriaki sandwich at Subway.......thats something I can eat no matter how not-hungry I might be, lol
  21. Happy Birthday to a wonderful lady...inside and out! may the best times of your past be the worst times of your future! xoxoxoxo
