sigh...SA this is kinda tiring...every agency operates differently and I think that many girls will agree that they are happier not being with an agent and kissing away half (yes, sometimes HALF) of their hard earned money to an agent. there are many sides to everything and many different costs out there to being represented but I thin that the only people who can state for the record what it really means to work for an agency are the ladies themselves. but like I said I'm not going to make this a discussion of agency or indy..good or bad....as it doesnt relate to the original topic of the thread.... nothing was taken out of context, I just feel that (judging by your shocked response) you have not read the previous posts where many gents and ladies on here acknowledged quality on both sites, if you had there wouldnt been a need for any shock on your behalf...there can be equally good clients and gals that use both sites. if you're talking about the quality of the look or moderating...we have all already agreed that Cerb exceeds CL in that way

sorry if that seemed like a digg at you SA, it wasn't. no need to get upset. I still dont think Cerb should ever be compared to an agency....we already have had people in the past try and criticize the people who run Cerb calling them pimps etc. not cool..... As far as an agency relationship being rose-coloured, mutually beneficial business venture comparable to being on cerb (minus the budget cut) I will keep my opinions of that to myself as I'd like to see this discussion move in a positive direction, lol

I completely agree that spamming clients you have never seen before is unwanted and unprofessional. I have a question tho.....I'm noticing a lot of threads started by new members looking for a certain type of lady who is available for a certain time or who is of a certain ethnicity, service-style or whatever. Because most ladies aren't comfortable responding directly in the thread for fear of looking bad, is it then a no-no to PM the individual about his request privately if we have never PMed them before? The "I am looking for...*insert whatever*" threads seem to be asking for input from the ladies and other members but might not be asking for someone to PM them specifically just post in the thread....

I'm confused by your argument and how it relates to the thread.... its free to advertise here on Cerb and its free to advertise on CL. I think the LAST thing cerb wants to be viewed as is an agency as that would mean it "lives off the avails" which is illegal...correct me if I'm wrong here mod. I think you might be confused SA, we were discussing the content and quality of both sites...(not the cost) as a main factor for discussion. I could be wrong tho..?

Oh I certainly agree with this too....my point was just that if someone does feel the need to report certain details (to cerb OR CK) that they not have to be faced with an "I told you so" manner for using CL... thats all :)

as was mentioned before about gals solely choosing CL to advertise by Youndstud....i dont think any of us who are participating on this board are encouraging ladies to only advertise on CL......I just think we should acknowledge that there are many means for eact SP to advertise.... \ Vannessa is right on the ball in that we can only offer our experiences and various other means for reputable sources...but in the end it is their decisions as to what means they want to look up ladies. I do however think that threads like this discourage any member on here from coming forward and reporting a bad date he encountered on CL because of the stigma involved....we are all here to help each other......you can shop at designer stores or you can shop at Walmart....it doesnt mean you are making a stand towards lower end material.....heck I bought a really awesome Sony DVD player from Walmart recently and I buy all my son's Nintendo DS Games there...neither are cheap rip offs and I have no shame saying I bought them at Walmart. I would hope that if a brand were to suddenly appear at Wal-mart however that consisted of electronics that didnt work or likewise, that I should be able to warn people to avoid those products without being slammed for visiting that store. No I dont agree with the advertisers on CL who are ripping people off or baiting and switching....but I also have a huge faith in the resources available out there for gents (like Cowboys Diary and Cerb) to avoid these messes...and i also think that these people who are not "in it for the long haul" are the only people ruining it for the rest....and more importantly themselves I have encountered a couple gents who have met ladies on Cerb even who didnt get what they had hoped for....did it make them swear off the site? definitely not....it just made them wiser to think with the brain in their head instead of the other brain in the future. we are all here to help each other...no matter where we shop....therefore lets not pass judgement so we can all share with each other's learning experiences...instead of having people who are afraid of coming forth due to being afraid of being ridiculed...... does that make sense?

LOL...a true shaggin-wagon!...see thats ok tho.....in an enclosed place on a property (garage)......I just hate the guys who think they can pass off their "fantasy" because they have heard to many stories about guys picking up SWs in their cars and risk our discretion....obviously your guy was trying to be discrete. car dates often rub me the wrong way like the guy who is asking you to come to their office after hours....ummm........they claim there are no hidden cameras or security measures they they know of....do you know why they call them "hidden cameras?" because even the managers dont know about them....and sometimes even the bosses dont know! Its a public location and they dont live there....regardless of the "chances" of being caught being slim, the arrests that could be faced shouldn't be worth the money or the "release" to anyone involved. I've been told I was being "paranoid" about too many issues like this and its made me really tiffed....sorry but I care about my child and myself and not ending up in jail for a romp for $280. If someone cant respect that, then I'd rather be considered paranoid.

there was one not too long ago that stated a certain price for meeting up along a quiet spot on the "bike path" as she couldnt provide an incall location.....makes me think of all the murders that have taken place along the bike paths or women that have gone missing on night-joggs........ all very good points, Cat...the phrasing in the ads point was more or less what I meant before by sticking to our rates and how we promote our self-image. I tried to give you some reputation points but I need to "spread the love" around some more first according to cerb ;) I was just reading a post by another SP about how her Aunt used to be a SW back in the day and it was considered a classy job to be a lady of the night, we cant argue that things have definitely changed sadly with the creation of the internet and the less serious workers charging low rates...we can however hope that our client base will be able to distinguish a classy ad from a not so respectful one, or an ad that may seem too good to be true and may result in something negative happening. on an unrelated note, I also agree with Tulsa when she says this is a review forum for experiences that happen on the NET and not solely cerb and I think clients would be more helpful to providing warnings on issues they may have had with CL gals in the warnings section if there wasn't such a stigma on Cerb attached to members using CL...therefore helping anyone else out who is using the site as well. Cowboy Kennys diary is a bible of warnings...but you will never hear him say "well duh, you used CL...what did you think was gonna happen?" on his blog.

I'm not saying anyone needs to do anything....I'm saying everyone should respect the means that everyone chooses to do things, just to acknowledge treading carefully. I'm not saying other SPs should use CL just because I do, I simply said that I use it and have still had good clients on there. I think you might be confusing my opinion as me saying its the be all and end all....not so. while I use the site I also acknowledge that some men have not had good experiences on the site....hence why I would consider warning a client to surf carefully.

yes I have told them this, but some have a harder time navigating through a similar site like cerb and find it just easier to stick to what they know. We use cerb everyday so we're used to its simplistic page but for many, at first glance they can be a little overwhelmed Believe me, I've tried to encourage many to use cerb...but when you get to a certain age (as some of my more old fashioned clients can be) some are happy that they are using the internet at all, lol......and age aside, some are just set in the ways that they have been doing things. So hands in the air..I gotta respect that while at the same time warning them to be careful on CL

everyone is going to have a different experience. I have had both good and bad experiences on Cerb and the same 50/50 experiences on CL. I'[m not saying my experience is the right one, but I think if we can all learn from each other's mistakes, we should also acknowledge each other's good experiences as well. I have many polite regulars who only use CL, its not that they dont know about cerb but they just aren't the types to join a board and are a little bit old fashioned...everyone does things differently and we should respect that. I certainly would not lump them into the category of time-wasters or rude clients just because they're on CL....just as I think it would be unfair to say all cerb members are bad apples because of the no-shows and time-wasters ... they exist on here too but I would never rule out cerb...therefore I dont feel we should rule out CL. Expanding our market as SPs to other sites shouln't mean we are not thinking to the future of this industry if we are sticking to our guns about our rates and respecting our self-image as escorts. The girls or pimps and scammers that advertise poorly on CL are only shooting themselves in the foot and they are certainly the ones who will not be getting repeat business or regulars searching CL to find them again. One more positive thing to think about for Cerb is that a very large percentage of clients I have seen said that they first heard about cerb through a lady they initially met on CL. So its sometimes not strictly the ladies' marketing thats benefiting from having their ads elsewhere. lol...well said ;) puts things into perspective

I will also start by saying that this is not a dig at mod, but i do support what the ladies here have said so far.... many of us cerb ladies also advertise on CL....we have to make the best of all the options available to us to get the most traffic possible....not so many gents are as lucky to know about cerb and it doesnt mean that the ohes who dont know about cerb are all rude or disrespectful (as many ladies will claim of the guys that phone them up via CL)....just the same as the guys cant generalize all the gals who post on CL as pimp-ruled scam artists (not saying anyone has said that...by any means) I definitely agree that if you choose a lady off of CL and are going off of zero research then you are indeed taking a chance....a huge chance. Thats why I feel it is so important that you not judge the source of the information....or the tingle in your pants at the sight of the photo.......but the easy tool of escort research.....google a name and city of a gal! go by a girl that has been reviewed *somewhere*......but take a stab in the dark at a "too good to be true" price and picture of someone whos "new to the biz" and if you ignore your conscience....you have only a hard lesson to learn. Dont bash the site....bad apples exist everywhere...even on here (before they're ruled out of course)....dont let the bad apple ruin you, let it make you wiser in the future.

I spent my Canada Day hanging out, drinking wine and watching Michael Jackson's "this is it" such a (not so) closet fan for MJ....Man in The Mirror, Liberian Girl....anything off the BAD album.... When I was a grade-schooler I was huge into Boys II Men...still revisit them every so often because I still think they're one of the best acca-pella groups out there and I think they really started that train among the younger listeners. I absolutely love the band Wide Mouth Mason....somewhat 90's Canadian Blues....I wish they went further. I really love David Usher too.....even those my friend cringe at his stuff. whatever, I like his stuff x 10 I was dragged to a Backstreet Boys concert.....but thats coz my girlfriend had no one to go with....we had nosebleed seats........I went just to say I went....even then, no one believed I would dare go, lol...hey, free ticket, whatever. Erin, you took the words right outta my mouth. when I was working for an agency I was sent to guy's houses who had pre-booked...then when the time came for me to show for the call they were drunk or had a pile of cocaine at the end of a three day bender......I even showed up to one call where the guy had admitted to my agent that he was "fucked on E [exstacy]" that client ended up getting stingy and paranoid at the end of the call and tried to remove money from my pile......I was fired because of it but I only took the call because i was scared of being viewed as a prima donna if I didnt go through with it. now I'm much happier turning off my phone after 11pm and blacklisting clients who text or call beyond those hours claiming they're drunk and horny and looking for fun.....what kind of girl do you thin I am? seriously. now that I'm independent thers not so much of a problem as to a guy showing up drunk...but there still remains the annoyance of the ones who are trying to call and book under the influence or who are looking for a gal to "party"with. so its not so much a problem that they are showing up like that (as most dont make it through the booking phase....but the ones who pester at late hours slurring is definitely annoying now on to this........ what a way to present yourself! I really hope that you poke around on here and realize how the well-received men on here are approaching ladies. Like Erin said we're not talking about a glass or two of wine.....we're talking about people who are falling down drunk or who are into the nose candy or popping pills...etc... turning it around however and saying its our problem if we cant make a man blow (influence or not) is just plain unkind....and saying that our tolerance levels are geared only for senors is very rude......and to say that the only gals that feel this way aren't part of the younger crew is yet another misunderstanding......just because we have respect for ourselves and what we're willing to put up with doesn't mean we cant "keep up". my advice to you would be to "keep up" with the respectful gents on here (who you will discover are both older and young...at mind and heart) and learn a lesson or two as to how your approach might not tickle the right girl's fancy. unbelievable.... my two (or three) cents....
