"Emma is a valued contributor and I believe that if she wins, its because she deserves it whether she has one or 10 awards." exactly! if anything, if someone wins the same or a similar award in the past, doesn't that just ADD to their ranking?...show that through time they are STILL a valued contributor? I haven't been on here as my current handle long enough to pay attention to who wins what and when and how often but I used to be part of a nightlife forum-site with the same kind of contest...and those who won one year would slack in their contributions after winning the award ......obviously being nominated for an SP award and such has not stopped Emma......and why should it? her contributions have led those who seem astray hobbyists to walking straight in the business, and her advice to SPs, in my books, will always be valued. she is here for both parties....equally...and for that I have to tip my hat and duly respect ;-)

Emma I think you should definitely stay in the contest. I mean if you withdraw, then technically all us ladies should by the same rules. And I personally look forward to your contributions as a member all the time, as do many. stay in the loop sweetie! :-)

when you put it like that: she disappeared and and made you worry for hours.....i do believe thats NOT cool..in ANY way. I mean even if she claimed she was running off to get her nails done for a couple hours and fit in a call, i would not frown on that...you allowed her the time. however making you worry overseas for hours on end without an honest explanation is not cool. I will say however that just because you take a girl shopping or pay for drinks for a vacation or great dinners etc...does not mean that she is not missing out on money earned during a trip. drinks and christmas shopping do not pay our rent and phone bills and many clients try to barter flights and dinners with hours of companionship. this is one thing I dont allow. perhaps I am material as many may think after this post but you have to consider the time and money a lady is missing out on on a weekly basis spending time with you. the lesson to be learned here is compensate her aside from the frills of travelling with you or understand that if you dont, she may be tempted to make her living while on the trip. i myself would never do so the way she did, but I'm trying to play devils advocate here. and i certainly dont fancy to your ideals that you brought her there or paid for her trip and dinners and shopping for more than just a BBBJ. a proper hobbyist would know that its not about that, rather proper communication between you and your travel partner. Hopefully in the future things will be stated more clear between you and her from the start. as for the dude involved, forget him...stop thinking everyone is out to get you. it never ends well. my two, or three, or four cents

exactly...i'm all for believing that it was not cool for her to just run off. but did he allow her to go sightseeing on her own? was it agreed beforehand that she was to not have any free time and that her entire trip needed to be by his side. some hobbyists assume this but some are also relaxed and give the ladies their own space if the trip is say a week long. it keeps things fresh for when they have outings etc...however if 24/7 time was not agreed from the start or she made it clear she was "doing her own thing" for those few hours, then there should really be no resentment here

hmmm...I have two separate opinions on this thread. The first being if you both had agreed to spend the full time together on a client/SP basis, then there should be no running off on her part for 5 hours without explanation, especially to see another client. However if she was allowed to go off on her own occasionally to get some space then dont assume that she would not also try to make the most monetarily out of her trip. Many Hobbyists that I see on vents like this sometimes loose the reality that this is a business for us and start to get too wrapped up in the emotions of it "she used me" "she doesn't care about me, just wanted to see the other guy"....sometimes she may not have really wanted to see either guy, but this is her job. Granted, she should have told you that she may have a meeting with another person, but think about it, we do have that respect enough sometimes not to tell even our local clients where we've just been or where we're going...yanno? its doesnt make us liars....it means we share a certain discretion. I have been on a few trips with trusted clients, on my last trip, my client offered me one day to do social errands (as I had many friends in that town) on my own and meet up with him the next morning, and I'm pretty sure he even threw in an idea to announce on cerb that I was touring in that city. The thing to remember is, this is a business, and as long as its allowed beforehand (no one needs to know the details of where and with who you were) the air should thus be cleared. My advice, definitely move on. See other ladies from now on but in the future, when you go on a trip, break open your personal ground rules in the beginning with her if you want to avoid feeling hurt in the future. A proper SP will respect your ground rules and not try and pick up an extra buck while on tour...provided you are definitely making it worth her while to stay with you 24/7

I dont know whether to agree with the motion of this article or spit at it. there are some valid concerns from detectives with forces that I have corresponded with in the past in TO but I feel that the article seems written by a highschool child with just as much assumptions as they claim they are trying to dissolve in this article. This article is anything but productive.....the better street-walkers will force themselves into dark alleys making them a target etc etc......I'd like to know where this bloke pulls all his facts from, as the most atrocious assumptions seemed to have no valid sources... bringing up drugs and low self esteem....and the only means that us SPs do what we love is not for love...but for a desperate means to make cash the only way we know how to to support our families. ???? For goodness sake, NOW magazine......you are not helping our cause here! some good points were raised. but I'm EXTREMELY disturbed with the immature approach this novice writer has barged in with and with the disgusting comments left by readers in the comments section. I've been to enough female strip bars as a practicing client with my guy pals (ie. i usually foot the bill for theirs and my dances) to know that if you want quality, gals that offer quality tend to take their nights off on nights like those

I haven't but I know a girlfriend that had...oh maybe 12 barely noticeable hairs on her upper lip and did the laser removal in college. she had to go back 4 times on their suggestion (she definitely didn't have dark thick hair there) and she said the feeling made her eyes tear as if she was getting her lip pierced. now....it could very well be the quality of the place she went to but from what I hear, its very rarely a "one time fix' as they say in ads mind you, shes a tough cookie and if I had to do it a couple or more times to forget about shaving (waxing re-growth is VERY not attractive with how thick my hair is) every call....i may consider it. heck, its only hair! ;-)
