this is a really good thread Samantha. there are indeed times I want to ask (and have!) some men I see "you're new at this aren't you?", when it continues with a timid chuckle and "yeah I guess I am", the date continues....if the comment is returned with an arrogant tone, I have never had a problem hanging up or walking out the door love the food comparison too...very ofter you hear a man on the boards commenting on "the fine dining he sampled in _insert city_" rarely do you hear him traveling to that city in search of penny-candies ;)

Lately I've been reading on the boards a lot of industry literature being read all over. I'd like to pick up a good read on the industry or perhaps a novel written from the SPs perspective..or even the clients perspective. any books worth mentioning out there? they could even be fiction, I'd just like to broaden my library and outlook on this wonderful industry that I love more and more each day :-) ...oh and no "how to" guides or "Sex-work for Dummies"...I think I'm ok on that end ;-) hehe

Erin you are making my mouth water with all that yummy food!! today after work I found myself close to the Value Village way out on Walkley road. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE thrift shopping. As much as I also spend proper money on new clothes, I also love discovering one of a kind vintage finds. I found myself in the store for about 2 hours! ...its something I never had the time to thoroughly look through. I came home with a big giant bag of scarves, logo-tees, dresses and of course....casette tapes for my old-school car-stereo, hehe

I saw one man who would draw a bath for every one of his ladies before he saw them because he had bad experiences with that. He would approach it very sweetly though however, so it came across as very cute on his end to the ladies...he'd say "lets have a bath" and the gesture would be relaxing for the two of them

-during the day I like to take myself out for a nice meal and beverage -shopping is definitely on my list -visit my best girlfriend whos car just broke down and bring her coffee and girl-talk...she enjoys the visits and shes the only one I can talk to really these days honestly when she asks "so hows work?" lol -evenings if I'm finished in time I like to go for a drink...and if the mood is right, maybe croon some Karaoke (and of course....check Cerb ;-)

I've gotten this one over and over because I do a lot of part time modeling and use a lot of pro-shots. It really frustrates me. Its sad tho because maybe 2% of the girls out there post fake pics or steal pics and it makes a bad name for us all. I also get the question "are you attractive?" I sometimes jokingly say back "No I'm a total hagg" ;-)

within the past hour alone after posting my availability for the first time in schedules I am very sullen to add one more to the pile... *sigh*... maybe not so much of a do NOT do...but a DO please please please please PLEASE read my ad in full before asking questions such as "where is your incall location?" when it states IN BOLD on my ad that my services until mid June are OUTCALL only....asking if I'm available at 7pm when it also states that this weekend I'm only available after 9pm...etc etc etc. taking a few extra seconds to read over a lady's ad instead of skimming her description and then going straight for her pics saves us all time, and as we've all realized in this industry, time is money by the time I've gotten to the fourth or so message like this, I'm in a terrible mood...that mood rubs off on the next client that I may be short with by accident in PMs or expecting to hear more stupid questions from what might be genuinely a truly interested customer.

there are some cute asian girls on Somerset just up Bronson... oh wait you mean FOOD! (yes har har...someone HAD to ;-) ) I'm actually a really big fan of Shanghai restaurant on Somerset near Bronson...its very cute small and very NOT hole in the wall-ish. they have rotating art on the wall and friendly family service...fun nights after 9pm hosted by family members (one who is a drag queen and does a hillarious Karaoke night on saturdays!...definitely dinner and a show!) also very reasonably priced

This might fall more under the sweet than sexy category. But I had a really awesome experience when I went back to being independent after leaving my previous agency. The client had called my agency and my agent bragged about how she fired me but the Hobbiest still managed to find me through my ads. I remember being in a very melancholic mood after returning from my recent let-go...i almost didn't want to work but the tone of this man's voice was so sweet and I decided I just had to, he had such a warm voice I think I just had to see who was on the other side of the phone when I arrived at his hotel I opened the door to find he had probably lit about 50 tiny candles throughout the hotel room (livingroom, bedroom and even the bathroom!)..all the lights were off, there was the sound of a bath running. The gesture itself was so sweet and it created the most sexy romantic mood...making out by candle-light is such a turn on....it was either that or the taboo that one wrong move and we could have set the whole hotel on fire. needless to say, things got hot anyway ;-)

I think every lady here will agree that hygiene reigns over appearance. Men come in all shapes and sizes and styles. As long as you are dressed nice and clean shaven, smell nice but not overbearing (pretty much everything that the ladies said above) and above all polite and respectful to us, all will be good. absence of cold sores is good as a side-note, lol and on another side-note, maybe this is just me, but i tend to dress well when I arrive at an out-call and was once faced with a gentleman wearing hockey-logo sweat-pants and a sweaty grey t-shirt...it was not flattering at all and was quite a turn-off from the start. it said to me "I dont need to impress you, because I'm paying for you and you're a guest in MY house...plus I'm going to be naked asap anyway" I'm not shallow by any means and he was really niec but I couldn't get past his get-up. If you had a girlfriend over that you just started seeing, would you let her catch you dead wearing your grubbs? I always wonder if the date would have gone differently on my end and his if he had put just a little bit of effort into his clothing. Nothing fancy....just not, I dunno...slobby?

I've had a bit of a run this week with non-cerb members (just in case a couple think I'm talking about them) using my number to call or text me too much. if its not for business, no offense but I can't talk...dont get offended. I even had one client text me back "oh so its like that eh? lol" it is like that I'm a really nice person, but this week I've just had it with clients not respecting that using my phone number is a privilege...not a right. I have clients wishing me well on my trips afar or calling coz they wonder if I took their last email the wrong way and they just want to make sure etc....it used to be cute but suddenly I'm 5 mins away from being picked up from my driver and am running late and the phone rings, I answer, thiniking it might be important and it someone calling "to talk"....!!?? or my inbox is full of voicemail/text messages one after the other.....denying other clients from being able to call me for work.....even-more.."!!!?" clients I love you all, but you have to realize that I have to enjoy my time away from you as well...otherwise the time we spend together will not be special. Also, everyone else deserves the same respect and time and as much as you love your time with me, you'd certainly hate it if someone's phonecalls permitted you from seeing me...right? Just something to put out there, because not every guy thinks about the other joe. we are wonderful women but just putting it out there that its also a business and every hobbiest has to respect the other clients. ps.. did I mention I love my clients...love yous!! :-) (not bitter at all here, just trying to make it a better place for everyone) xo
