That's hilarious (better than my sisters'!)...on another but similar topic, what is up with dancers asking if we can by them a drink? I have had this pulled on me recently and when I said sure, she proceeded to pick the most expensive drink ($18...something with cognac and redbull). She may have had a free drink but that was it.

This is a big problem...last week I had to tell a girl to get off me and leave and that was a first for me. She was really aggressive and the halitosis didn't help. I have also used the same line "I am waiting for someone"...but I also make sure that I do not initiate eye contact. I will look at her and smile if she approaches directly and will wait for her to sit and chat a bit before saying anything. I believe that there is more to it than who the first sexual experience is with and I would suggest that the lack of a positive experience may in fact exacerbate the problem. Cat, you suggest that their shyness and difficulty asking girls out when they were younger leads them to a lifelong inability to form lasting relationships. That is the problem...and perhaps this inability cannot be simply overcome by sheer will. Having a positive sexual experience, whether or not with an sp, may increase confidence and at the very least, impart some knowledge that will help in approaching girls. Then again, many researchers suggest that the foundation for one's ability to form lasting long term relationships are formed way before someone reaches adulthood and if they are right, then all this is moot. Just for the record, I'm not suggesting that this is the reason why Soleil decided to keep his virginity.

I took the morning off work today to meet this Littlelady for breakfast and I have to agree completely with everything Buggernot said. E-mail etiquette has come a long way with the advent of emoticons 8), but my biggest peeve is the abuse of Caps, either in the entire message or for emphasis. Caps is for shouting and underline or bold is for emphasis. Also, I hate when someone replies to an e-mail and doesn't answer your question...usually because they are too busy. Texting or chat are one thing, but spending a little time to form complete sentences and completing the "conversation" in e-mails is just common courtesy...IMHO.

We've heard of Don1's misadventure but Sparky hasn't expanded on what happened ...was it worthy of a post in the "warning" section?
