Can your AV detect and remove Stealth MBR Rootkits ? IMO, Your PC isn't clean until you know this. None of the free versions I have tried could do it. Is there any paid versions that can do it. I won't pay for a program that , maybe, will do it. Meanwhile, I use GMER to look for Rootkits. Btw, Mic Sec Ess spotted a trojan on my system only after copying a suspect file in System32/drivers, to another directory. MSE may protect you from new infection, but don't count on it to cure one !

I'm with ricko on this one. If it was only about kicking out a dictator, then why is Israel so nervous ? The Muslim Brotherhood is not just a fringe group or an Old Boys Club. We shall soon see if there are attempts to change the constitution to allow religeous based parties. To me, the question is, do they want more, or less theocracy ?

And what of Nolan ? Can't believe he had no role in this.

A program you can't remove....hmmm. Keep it on the suspect list.

Are you familiar with the Registry ? Maybe your Itunes is infected. I have found that the only way to really clean out a problem program (including virus) is to edit the registry, with a registry editor, run from a Boot Disk. Wipe out all references to its .exe .dll .sys etcetera. Example: (short version) My main PC had a Rootkit Trojan on it (probably for years). All virus and rootkit scanners I tried, missed it. Some scanners would alert to suspect files, but failed to delete them. Using Regedit.exe to delete these manually, I would get denied permission. Solution: Burn a Boot CD loaded with system tools that allow you to do surgery on Windows while it is dormant ! http://www.ubcd4win.com/ Avira scanner then found the rootkit. Regedit could then allow me to delete all suspect entries. (Google the file name first) I know this method is not for the novice, and I have been poking puters for decades. Maybe paid versions of AV Progs work better, but I wont pay. Wasted too much time trying them out, and proved to myself they fail. Rootkit trojans, becoming more common, can hide files from Scanners that run while in Windows. You could be somebodys BOT, and don't know it, or sending your info to Russia. The tools I use now are the likes of HijackThis and GMER, to alert me of odd behaviour. Then I get out the Big Stick (BootCD)

My question is, How did this happen ? Political pressure (threats) ? Like, "we're going to make business difficult for you". And if the method works, whats to stop them leaning on any/every advertising venue. Was there a court order ? Proof of anything ? Paid ads and and filtering didn't work down south ! http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2010/09/censored-craigslist-adult-services-blocked-in-u-s/ Who's next ? -

Here is a sample Bylaw ! http://webdocs.edmonton.ca/Bylaws/C12452.doc http://www.edmonton.ca/bylaws_licences/licences_permits/escort-licence.aspx "A complete list of every introduction arranged for each such Escort specifying the calendar date, time, and location." ( this gets reported to City Manager, once a month) "?Escort? means a person who charges or receives a Fee for acting as a date or providing personal companionship for a limited period of time;" And so, what is missing ?, the definition of "date" ? (Dinner....a Movie...Bowling....Sex maybe?)

Yes ! And when the novelty of choking wears off, what next ? Let's try Hanging ! Perhaps blowing out a few blood vessels in your brain will be worth the last big O. (if you remember it) I have a disturbing video clip of a couple in a hotel room. She is standing on a chair, hands tied behind her back, a rope around her neck tied to the ceiling. He says, while rubbing her, "ready ?" She says "OK". He pulls the chair away. He bounces around the room naked, while she flails and moans. After 13 secs he lifts her up. End of clip. Was she Normal after that ? I doubt it ! I find it disturbing that K.D. (a mother), considering all the risk to permanent brain injury (and death), was more concerned about her butt. As for J.A. , I would charge him with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endangerment I have changed my mind about Trudeau's famous quote. "...what is done in private between adults doesn't concern the Criminal Code." How so wrong that is ! Changing my Sig ! -

Many, many people view this site, and its a "small world after all". If there is some info about you that is very unique/rare, then letting it become common knowledge is not wise. If I was the only Swedish carpenter in Smallville, would I want my boss to know I'm Suzi ? He could be reading this too! Isa, a general answer, as you said (like Asian, Spanish, French) will have to suffice for now (your choice). Then change the subject (hint, that's off limits). I'm guessing your concern is that some one might pass on that info, that is not normally considered private, but it is to you. -
