It is wrong to assume that GFE means certain "services" are required. This goes against the point that everyone has been trying to make; that GFE is an EXPERIENCE not a list of services.

You're in bed by 8:30 :shock:? I pegged you as a night owl :). I realize and understand the greater purpose of it, but I have to admit, I do it partly because I find it very peaceful. No tv, no computer, no buzzing of the lights...just quiet in the dark :). I light a few candles and grab a book and I'm good to go!

This is a very good idea. I've been contacted for references in the past from SPs in the U.S.. I had no idea who they were. For all I knew, they could have been the SO of a man I had seen and they were trying to catch him. I asked a lot of questions before finally feeling comfortable enough to give the reference they were looking for.

Good for you for not letting anyone coerce you into doing something you don't want to do! There are quite a few threads on this very topic that have been started. I'll look up the links after and post them for you. I will say this quickly before I'm off to search for the threads about GFE and it's meaning; GFE is a STYLE, not a list of SERVICES (i.e. bbbj, daty). It's a more intimate encounter between the SP and the hobbyist...and by intimate, I do notmean unsafe. From my understanding, many SPs wish the term had never been started because it is often misinterpreted and some gentlemen assume it means they can get more in terms of unprotected sex acts. I could go on and on, but then I'll end up ranting :rolleyes:. Back soon with the links!

Same thing happened to me when I was running Vista. Once I switched to Windows 7, everything started running smoothly. It made a HUGE difference.

I think about my "disappearing clients" all the time. Well, not all of them but rather the ones I hit it off with. I genuinely wonder how they are doing and what they are up to. I remember the stories they shared and I wonder if since our meeting, they've got more stories :-D.

I believe her school work keeps her pretty busy. I met her once at a dinner that a group of us (SPs) attended here in Montreal. Very sweet girl :-).
