  3. Interesting evening. They are skillful enough to get through a week's paycheck of all but the wall street's golden boys, and then again they might just manage that as well! As for 'outside the club activities', chances are it is not real. The latest thread, one of many, on this topic, is to be found here: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=54639 Take care, FB... toine

  13. Are you just being a curmudgeon? Well, maybe a little bit. Mad Men, after all, has great production value, and is well written. Realistic? No idea, but certainly the depiction of the life Don Draper has as a advertisement executive and that which he could have had, as a high school drop out, is already an interesting in contrast. Pan Am: at least there will be some local flavour, Karine Vanasse, pretending to be a charming little French woman, Colette. Can't wait to see her outfitted as a Pan Am stewardess. ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karine_Vanasse; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_Am_(TV_series)

  16. Shocking image, indeed. Heels are great when dressed for a night out, but then again not too high, but in lingerie, I agree it is kind of weird! But Castle in boxers and fancy shoes, now that would be priceless!
  17. There have been quite a few very good threads about North American music, mostly rock&roll, that we all like, but what about music from elsewhere? Here are a few pieces I really like, mostly oldies, even if I don't have a clue what they are about... Manu Dibango oldy Soul Makossa (from 1972, I believe): Paolo Conte, Max (1984?): the recent Stromae (2010), alors on danse: and its parody, alors on bande: So, which non North American music you like most?
