mrrnice2 will live another day! With some luck, his Habs players will make it to the next round as well -
...and rightly so. there are things that should not be done in public!

with its title, it is clear that this thread is all about bashing Harper. Other threads are more balanced regarding which party, and leader, may be best to steer the country in the next few years. As for KF post, it is true that as a real U.S. conservative, one may be considered somewhat too much to the right on a Canadian scale. Imagine arguing the NPD case down in some states in the U.S. Talk about the loonie left, lol!

Difficult week at work, so I needed some R&R. What better way to relax than to go to CMJ and participate in a training session with a new MA? I had the pleasure of meeting Justine, who is a lovely young buxomy woman, as her pics show http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/album.php?albumid=3068 The training was done with one of my CMJ sweethearts, and we made sure to show Justine the do's and don't of a fun session CMJ style. It was a joy being with these two ladies and Justine knew a lot already, was eager to learn more and appears to be a quick learner. I am very much looking forward to one-on-one quality time with Justine, real soon.

The (temporary) silence of Cato...
toine replied to Cato's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well, we sure missed Cato for those few days. When the old ticker stops ticking, PMs will come in, junk mail will explode my gmail accounts and... that's it! I'll miss the sweet ladies of cerb, though. -
Kristina at CMJ I had the pleasure of meeting Kristina at CMJ, one of their newest gems. Kristina is a young woman in her early twenties and has everything of a natural blonde, but the lack of brains (lol). While slender, she has curves at the right places. She has long fine hands and can give a relaxing massage and seems to have the technique to give a more therapeutic one as well. Kristina is a good conversationalist, and the conversation flowed easily from my interests to hers. She likes travelling and has interesting stories to tell. The overall experience was typical of CMJ, starting with a warm shower when Kristina took care of washing my 2000 parts, followed by a soothing massage and a long finish... An hour well spent! Take a peek at her pics, you'll thank me (and Jasmin) for it!

Your opinion - Federal Election...
toine replied to Reddog01's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
It is interesting to see how quiet this thread has become, since debate day, because most analysts have suggested that voters' preferences will shift, if they shift, in the week following the debate. Are we in a standstill, has everything relevant been said? -
Stripclub buddy recruitment
toine replied to ottawavideographer1978's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Stripclubs & Dancers
I hear you, brother! ...because the heart always longes for what it cannot have... If you prefer, the club will be packed with all kinds of pretty ladies, whose attention can be had for a little while in the CR, but the seemingly unatainable waitresses become desirable only by their being out of reach... Guys can be hard to understand. -
Leafs to take new direction next year

Hope springs eternal... and meanwhile, other teams get to play during spring time! The Leafs will be great again, remember 1967! -
best songs about escorts/brothels/etc
toine replied to VedaSloan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well, there ain't no Candy Shop a la 50cents in there, but, in French, here is a classic from Georges Brassens, Le mauvais sujet repenti (from 1964), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mVqzZxKZmI; as well, his La complainte des filles de joie (1961) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9dWmijny2U and a lesser known one La fille à cent sous (1961)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8z6Kb3GPyM). Moving forward in time, Thomas Fersen has something for the ladies of the night, as I know of three songs all about Ladies of the night, or with clear allusion: Louise (1995) ; Ou trouver des fleurs le lundi soir après minuit (1997); and Les papillons (1997)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcbOkZd6SVw. While Brassens's songs are coloured by the grinding poverty of the post-war 40s and 50s, Fersen's tend to be recollections from his years of (compulsory) military service. Both have a thing for SW and umbrellas. -
Hockey Playoff Draft
toine replied to LeeRichards's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well, money talks! Anyhow, from what I've heard, BP was founded in Edmonton, so playoffs are out of the picture. Mind you, their HQ are now in Vancouver, so the Cup is in the cards this year. Meanwhile, it might be that Meg may have to discard her Bruins jersey real soon, not that we mind when she takes off her clothing! toine, a BBR fan -
Jenny reigns all over Barb's, she is the hottest gal in the club!

Indeed, I had the pleasure of meeting Bridgette on this miserable cold and rainy day. I left the club with a smile on my face, and a warm glow from this little ray of sunshine.

Well, you have one more day in Ottawa to see her. Otherwise, it's Calgary for you! Mind you, Calgary is a fine city to visit!

Any Port Wine Connoisseurs ?
toine replied to Mister T's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
One advantage of the SAQ.com website is that it will list all Outaouais stores' current stock at once. For the Graham's six grapes half bottle, at $13, the SAQ by the casino 'as of now' has 16 bottles. The LCBO retails it for $11.45 but currently appears to be out of it in Ottawa-downtown, Ottawa-Nepean or Ottawa-Orleans... BTW, when searching on SAQ, look for PORTO (as in Portolover lol), not just PORT. -
Your opinion - Federal Election...
toine replied to Reddog01's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I resisted reading this thread until today, and I must say that I found most posts remarkably civil and broadly well-informed. I'll keep my opinions for myself, at least for now, but here are some points I noted. Information on the Vote Compass can be found here votecompass.ca. While it may be in need of further fine-tuning (or a good old shake lol), it has been built with the advice of some of the most well-known Canadian political scientists specialized in analysing voting patterns: Professors André Blais (U. de Montréal), Elisabeth Gidengil (McGill U.), Richard Johnston (UBC) and Neil Nevitte (U. of Toronto). As for voter turnout in 2008, or other time, statistics can be found here: http://www.elections.ca/content.aspx?section=ele&dir=turn&document=index&lang=e The trend of the past twenty years does not look good. As for most male cerbites leaning on the conservative side, I got the feeling the issue is not that clear cut. Yes, many have voiced support for the Conservative Party (no signs of the PC anymore, these days are long-gone), but about as many have voiced support for the Liberals and NPD. Can't wait to watch the Leaders' debates. -
The Love catalogue from 1915
toine replied to Gabriella Laurence's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
...and according to information found on the web, it would be a literary hoax, written in the late 1920s by a woman writer with a dadaiste bent. A few clues suggest it is a hoax, such as le branlage a la mouche, simply too far-fetched... I must admit I admire the nom d'artiste in this instance: Marcelle LAPOMPE. She must be good with the glougloutage. -
Any scotch drinkers out there?
toine replied to Kubrickfan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm into single malts as well, mostly peaty ones such as lagavullin and laphroaig. I must admit I sometimes put a small ice cube in the glass, but purists will say that a very small drop of quality water (spring or from a very good municipal watersystem) is all that is needed. Getting drunk on whisky is quite special as it may lead to blackouts, which happened to me twice. No fun to deal afterward with friends' stories regarding this or that misbehaving episode one has no memory about (though I sort of recall that before blacking out I was already a handfull!) and no ground to say whether the stories are true or not. -

As others, I want to thank you for your humourous and well written posts. Looking forward to the next 1000! -
The machine does do a good job, overall, but there are also in all instances a few things that just don't work, and it makes for a good laugh. The best is to go back and forth, for example English to French back to English and compare the version! Cheap fun on a quiet Friday evening.
