Last week was stinking hot here in Ottawa as in many other places I am sure. So it is Wednesday and it is 10:30 at night and I have to return the DVD rental which means a nice 15 minute walk through my older neighbourhood in Ottawa. It's still hot at that hour, t-shirt, cut off jeans, and sandals is all I am going to wear. I am usually a fast walker but not on this night, the humidity slows me down to an easy saunter. I often keep a good tune in my head and the tempo I had was right for a slow rhythmic pace. 10 minutes in, I hear a car approaching me from behind, no problem I'm on the side walk, and as it passes a guy in the back whistles at me. WTF I'm a guy! Because it was dark and I am 5'9'' and have a slight build and weigh about 140, I was mistaken for a female. Too late to shout "You asshole" I think. I want to give them the finger and mime jerking off. I am pissed. Ladies, now I really understand first hand what it is like to be the target of something like that. In case anybody was wondering ... no I would never do something like that, it is out of character for me. Hope you enjoyed this. It got some laughs from the people I shared it with.

I am not sure where I heard about this, but it may have been from a doctor. This doctor just refused to perform circumcisions for other than religious reasons (only for jews) and pointed out that in the case where your eye lids get burned off in a fire, it would be possible to do a skin graft from there. Where else do you have some spare skin? Any doctors in the house to comment on this?

Some ladies are more reluctant if it is your camera, but if it is their camera, then thay have control over the images and may be more accommodating. But then it is a bit of extra work to review the images, and blurr out faces, tatoos, scars, piercings and birth marks that might identify the lady. This has got to cost extra.

In this day and age, I think it should be considered barbaric.

Old dog has the best suggestion: perhaps, should we wish to continue in this sort of gathering, we should confine the information within the board dedicated to this group. A small reminder two weeks in advance of a potential event could be placed in the public forum with directions to check the social board for further detail. All pertinent data would be revealed only on the social group board. That would satisfy the desire to be inclusive but at the same time would limit the opportunity for attendance with malicious intent. Just a thought. I like this a lot.

So I have been travelling and I have recently got back. Glad the social went well. I am still uneasy with how open the invitation is. This is based on the existenance of a blog called .......... This blog is intent on outing SPs and their clients. One of the CERB SPs (who has since left) was a victim of this guy (I am sure it is a guy and I am pretty sure he is in Ottawa). As a result my email address has been included in his blog. Luckily, I never used my real name. On the site, he even claims to have a picture of Cowboy Kenny. All this clown needs is to get wind of a meeting of SPs and possible clients and who knows what he might do with it. Let's not make it any easier for this character. I don't think I'm paranoid, I just really value descretion a lot. As for starting my own social group, I already belong to one that has a social component and I am convinced that they do it right.

So I noticed this post before logging in and I got to read the complete contents. That means anybody could find out where and when it is. We only want CERB members to attend the social. So I would propose that the location not be mentioned in the regular posts, but only in the social group post. Make sense? Sounds good? Btw, I like the roled newspaper idea. Maybe this should only be mentioned in the group post.

I have not been posting very much recently because I wanted to make #100 significant in some way. It has been about a year since I started hobbying and it has been such an enriching experience. I have had the pleasure of the company of many wonderful ladies, and for that I am very thankful. However, along the way of this adventure I have lost something that I had not considered. I just could not see a down side to what I was doing until recently. What I have lost is the ability to donate blood. I have always looked for the opportunity to give blood when and where I could. I remember it was something my father did and instilled in me, so it was only natural that I would also do this selfless act. But Canadian Blood Services, are quite clear as to who they will accept donations from. If you pay for sex they do not want your blood. What makes this even bigger issue for me, is that my blood type is O negatve, which is the universal blood type and anybody can be given it. Only 7% of all Canadians have this blood type. In a situation where somebody is bleeding to death, that person can just be given O negative blood without having to worry about matching their blood type first. I regret not being able to give blood and possibly save somebody's life as a consequence.

Well the language faux-pas that irks me is when momentarily is used instead of moment. "I will be with you momentarily" means for a moment, and what usually is meant is "I will be with you in a moment".

I would compare his morning wood to her having her period. Both are hormone related and beyond ones control. It is just what the body does naturaly.

This woman needs to get educated as to what is normal and healthy. In this case ignorance is NOT bliss especially for your male friend. Sorry if that seems a bit harsh, but thats my take on it.
