  1. I just wanted endorse Owly's recommendation of Le Commensal. Whenever I am in Montreal, it seems I always eat there at least once.
  2. The bed would work just fine. I would suggest you let the client see you get a fresh beach towel for the session, then they know for sure you care about being hygenic. I am also thinking with the bed, you could easily straddle the client as you give the massage. I know I would like that very much! LOL.
  3. So now I am thinking you lie about your mistakes...... So it is true, you lie all the time.
  4. Erin, You didn't lie, you simply made a mistake.
  5. I just finished reading the entire thread and I want to make a few points. 1) some women lack a certain enzyme that metabolizes alcohol. This means that women get drunk quicker and stay drunk longer than men in general (there will be exceptions). So ladies be especially careful. 2) The laws should be changed so that if there are minor children in the vehicle of someone DWI, then there will be additional fines per child. 3) The times I have been stopped at a driver check point, and I get asked if I was drinking, I usually say that I had a glass of wine with my evening meal. Twice this has happened and I was allowed to proceed on my way. I never had to blow. Always be honest with them. I think when they ask the question, they just want to stick their head in your car and smell your breath to see if you have been drinking.
  6. The first time I attended a social, I just walked up to this bunch of middle aged guys and asked if they were Serbians. That broke they ice quite nicely. Of cousre if they have nothing to do with CERB (not Cerbians), they are none the wiser.
  7. One of my brothers e-mailed it to me and like so many people believed everything in there. I sent him the link that Sarcasticcid found (thanks again). The only thing that works for sure is getting the unique 15 digit id number, which can be useful. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE THREAD!
  8. Obviously they were rude and inconsiderate. Better to find that out sooner than later.
  9. sarcasticid did some research. Here is the quote: On further investigation I found this http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/household/cellphones.asp It goes to show you can't take everything for face value. Thanks jazzitup, maybe you should check things out before you report them. It is so easy to fall for these things and I was just trying to be helpful.
  10. sarcasticsid Thanks for the update. It is so easy to fall for these things. Good to know there are people like you to research these things so well.
  11. For all the folks with cell phones. (This information should be kept in your car, purse, and wallet. Good information to have with you.) There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it: #1 Emergency The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out. #2 Have you locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys In the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object.. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note : It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!' #3 Hidden Battery Power Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time. #4 How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone? To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones. #5 Free Directory Service for Cells Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem.. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800)FREE411, or (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell phone now. This is sponsored by McDonalds. This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends.
  12. I think it reveals the internal serial number of the phone regardless of a sim card. Try it and see. It worked with my Nokia cell phone.
  13. I called her today to see how she was doing. She had a bad case of food poisoning. Call her back, give her a break, she is very nice.

I am thinking you didn't know to do this. Too bad, but you will be ready if it ever happens again.
  15. I remember reading a little peice in the Globe and Mail about how dumb people are too dumb to know how dumb they are. And some actually think they are smart. And then I ended up working with someone like that. I just tried to be tolerant of him and patient. So the flip side of this would be the smart people know what they don't know.
  16. After reading about her here, I called Erica just on a whim. She is located in the mechanic's ville area, not far from where I work. Be warned! There is lots of construction happening at her location. I needed the hair cut and wanted the full hour massage. She was lots of fun. The women has personality and a great sense of humour. Just like so many others have said ... you will leave with a smile. I certainly did.
