I just wanted to say that in addition to the showering + soaping + hand washing and teeth brushing + using mouthwash, I always trim my nails as short as I can and file them smooth.

My experience has been quite the opposite. I always confirm that I am "good to go" the morning of the appointment. I do this even with the ladies I see more than once.
