As near as I can figure out, Maria is running the new place on Ogilvie as strickly legit. The location on Terminal is more like an MP and less of an RMT as their ads suggest. As an RMT she could lose her license if she massages "every muscle" which is why she's very hesitant. The location on Terminal really does suck though.

There used to be a place on Montreal Rd. directly across the hall from Triple A where you could get a hair cut while she wore a bikini, topless or nude and of course $, $$, $$$. Went a few times. Great hair cut, got many compliments but you couldn't touch her. Interesting concept that should be revived.

Agreed but now technically everything from Aylmer on the west to Gatineau on the east is referred to as Gatineau. For old timers old Gatineau is east of the Gatineau river. There used to be many MP's in old Gatineau, several along St. Louis and Notre Dame as well as one of my faves on de la Savanne just off of Greber. Even ALO had a location over there before they got busted. As far as I know, nothing open anymore in old Gatineau and as for anything across the Ottawa river, just Maureen's and a few Asian places in old Hull.

There's that Asian place at 216 Dalhousie. Do a search to see the mixed reviews. I haven't been just know about it.

Totally agree. First off I read the reviews and thought "Am I missing something here?" FS seemed to be the norm at MP's where I know its a no no. My fave was the ine about grabbing a shower at Island which doesn't even have a shower. Some of the girl's descriptions fit but why all the bogus reviews?

A shower is first and formost. If an MP doesn't even offer and/or supply a shower then I'm not staying. Every MP I've been to the MA leaves the room while I undress and put on robe and/or towel while I head to the shower. Depending on my comfort level with the MP or MA I may lie on the table with a towel or just bareassed. If I opt for the latter its always a nice surprise to hear "Well that's not fair, you're naked and I'm not. I'll just have to do something about that. He he."

When I first started working downtown in the early 80's and saw SP's going into hotels a buddy of mine's extremely naive sister asked me how these guys met these women and I showed her the Yellow Pages and said "Do you think Brown Sugar Escorts are dates for the NAC?" The bar in the old Beacon Arms Hotel (Broken Arms for you old timers) was a notorious hooker hangout. Word of mouth travelled through downtown and that's where the out of towners went.

I've never had a decent massage from an RMT, all the better ones have been from MA's. As for insurance purposes no place would issue a reciept for the whole amount (door fee AND tip) anyway. Also your employer may question why a massage costs $200. Just suck up the cost and enjoy yourself. You might be able to get a reciept for the door fee from Bodycare and maybe Oasis but don't quote me on this and even if you did, a couple of enquirys from your employer and your hobby will be all over the work place.

Going to be in Calgary on business next week and would love to get a massage but can't seem to find anything on line. The bylaws seem strict so all are very discreet. Can anyone recommend a decent place, preferably not Asian and not an indy prefer a studio? Only decent place seems to be Sweet Spa. Thanks.

There also used to me a lot more clubs operating. Back in the 80's it seemed that every single small town in Canada, well Ontario and Quebec anyway had a club. Back in the day there were clubs in Arnprior, Richmond, Kanata, Manotick, Chesterville, Carlsbad Springs and even one in the middle of nowhere on the road to Cornwall. Now there only are the 4 in Ottawa and the 4 across the river.

I'm pretty sure Hannia's is totally legit now. You may get a finish from Maria but she'll keep her clothes on. Oasis would be your best bet.

I haven't been to Club 77 in many years neither have I been in that area but, when you mention the plastic girls across the street I am not aware of a club across the street from Club 77. Haven't been in a while. Do they still have the open concept in the CR? A couple of years ago the city tried to crack down on lap dances so the Mate had to renovate the CR to sort of half stalls. When you went in and looked down the aisle you could see all the girls. No privacy whatsoever. Last time I was in I was asked by two girls if I wanted company as soon as I sat down. When I replied "Well a beer would be nice" they got a bit pissed and left. Girls a word of warning, let a guy at least have a drink first before you hit on him. No MP in Ottawa will give out any prices, other than the basic room fee, over the phone. The standard answer is "tips are accepted which you can discuss with your attendent in the session". Expected tips also can vary considerably from place to place, from reasonable (Michelle's) to unbelievably outrageous (Triple A). Most places in Toronto are quite open about their services and fees (tips) so much so that they post them on their web sites, everything from basic (HJ) to VIP (FS). I prefer not paying anything at the door, not ruining the mood by discussing things in the session and then just paying for everything at the end. This can be problematical for the MA but if she knows you and/or trusts you not to rip her off, I think works best. I've had many wonderful sessions and when I asked "What do I owe you?" been surprised by how low the fees were and ended up tipping even more than she asked for because service was so great. Every place is different.

It's also a double standard kind of thing like Don Draper. He doesn't like hisn wife Meagan doing love scenes on her soap but his more than happy to bang everything in sight. Anyway, back to discussion about Maureen's.................

Went there a couple of years ago when I was in the building getting old video tapes transferred to DVD at ome of the many "interesting" businesses there. Noticed Hannia's and only stayed because of Samantha, tall brunette with huge naturals. No shower even at that time. Massage was okay but her body was to die for. If an MA is advertising herself as a GFE then guys, myself included, will be under the assumption that the session will end either orally or with FS and nothing less. Its the same thing as if your real girlfriend surprised you with an erotic massage after a long day and you ended up having sex. MAs should avoid using GFE and just stick with "sensual, erotic massage" or every customer will be asking for FS.
