Some don't accept texting & sometimes texts don't go through. just check the ad and see if there is anything you are missing in the way they wanted to be contacted. yes they've been posting under the dating section for a while now. Also, it was backpage's execs choice to close the escort section, not a legal requirement. Like CL, they did it to make a point.
