While I agree you do expect more from a student, who would certainly have the resources to research this biz, but if she was only doing it intermittenly, maybe not. I wonder about the 'advice' she was given, since anyone who she claims is working in the biz giving that advice would certainly suggest doing free or inexpensive online advertising. Actually it makes me think she is leaving things out, suggesting it was in the paper rather than online in order to avoid people who can google the internet and find her ads still out there. Certainly if it was a made up story, she would have mentioned online advertising unless she is writing a story about what she did some years ago. The media stories on the topic all talk about bp, and similar sites for escorts ads. If she worked for an agency, their ads would have been online as well. You can't work in this biz in the past 7 or 8 years and not understand that the work is online, not in papers so much. However, I have chatted with or seen replies from sps before that make her lack of biz sense and understanding about forums, and advertising perfectly believable. There are a large number, especially part timers or younger sps, who don't have any interest in the marketing advertising part of the biz, and make no effort to learn about it. If she was being 'advised' by one of those types, who it seemed worked via an agency, that person wouldn't be giving good advice on how to look for places to post ads.

What concerns me with things like this is the idea that HIV is the only std out there. or the only one to be concerned about or guard against. If syphillis is untreated, people can die. If chlamydia goes untreated, people can become sterile. If HPV is passed, cervical cancer can be next. Many bbfs apologists use stats as their excuse, that because HIV is a low rate of infection (for men) that it is OK to do this. Ignoring all the other things out there.

I'm not sure if this show is getting much interest, based on the last BB thread, but in any case, it is now tradition to start one lol Thoughts about guests, the secret guest, and so on. I think I am not as thrilled and excited with the layout of the new house as the host is, fwiw lol. I am also not that thrilled with the ethnic diversity of this season versus last one, as in there doesn't seem to be much. Also national diversity. How many have to be from the maritimes before it is too many? Even the 3 alternates are 2 from the east coast and only one from BC.

I'm glad you are doing this. fwiw, if the handle is banned, and they sign on with a different handle, I think the site will show a multiple handle match. -
I read this earlier today, and took the time to read the comments. Surprisingly, some people read it and don't believe this is a real story. Whether the fact that she felt unscathed and undamaged by the experience, or because the clients she met were not monsters as she described them, or because it was well written, who knows. Someone actually suggested that, as a sociologist, this was probably an experimental piece to see the reactions. Funny how they can accept sps saying similar things if they are quoted by a legit reporter, but not if they actually write the thing themselves. I read one person's comment that they also found it interesting that the other time she felt diminished was applying at an agency.

Why is sex work so heavily stigmatized?
fortunateone replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
And yet you don't see the Mormon multiple spouse marriages set up with one woman multiple husbands. That is a society (the off shoot at least) as is some Muslim arrangements, that it is acceptable to have multiple partners, provided the partners are multiple women with one husband. i doubt if a woman who expressed a desire to ensure her offspring would come from the strongest, brightest and best would be increased if she had multiple partners would actually go over well. :) -
Pet Spa or Torture?

Why I like birds. They go into the water voluntarily. Some dogs will tho, they like to go into the river or lake, etc. Good way to get cleaned up. -
I wasn't going to comment, but the whole B&S thing, it is true that photo theft is theft, bottom line. It isn't just misrepresentation, the person using stolen pics is a THIEF and should be held criminally responsible, imo. But I did see his posts as saying, hey she's a nice person and i'd go back to see her which is fair enough, regardless of fake pics drawing him in the first place. What he could have done, and it really isn't client's responsibility to school sps, but he could have said, hey, nice to meet you, i had a nice time, but if you continue to post stolen photos, I won't be back because i can't support thieves. I think that might encourage sps to use their own owned photos more than just going, paying, and then returned all over again. And we don't see it on cerb, but most review sites do encourage the use of fake pics, and B&S, because from those they get lower rates and high services, and for them that is the payoff. So they encourage others to use the same setups (usually agency/micros) with fake pics, fake ages, fake everything except the posted rates and services, so much lower and more expansive than the nonBS posters are being supported. It used to be a review site was meant to expose fake pics, B&S and fake age postings, but it is clearly changed to mean that for a large number of users, it is a weapon against higher rate more honest and safer sps to show them this is the way to get busier, and thereby get more reviews, by lower rates and higher services.

They assume that means you 'aren't saying a word' for public consumption, or that you 'aren't saying a word' to those who you don't know. in other words, everyone figures they are the exception to that lol.

He should be able to pay for a day rate, which depends on the hotel, but at leat the hotel won't expect him to remain in it overnight. OP, there is no reason why you can't find an indy sp with an incall for you to go to visit. Don't make this complicated. It is possible the agency also has that option, if you are mentioning them because you have seen someone in their ads that you like. Start contacting some now and find out what your options might be. Contact the hotel as well about day rates. :) Do NOT ever have an escort come to you to a place where any people other than just yourself can walk in anytime.

If you don't control who a woman has sex with, you can't control whose children she ends up having. And without that, apparently it is just chaos out there :) Sex is still used as a weapon of war. Girls are still thrown out or killed if they have sex before their assigned marriages. Girls are still mutilated in order to ensure they are not capable of enjoying sex, because apparently they are so controlled by this that they will do crazy things in order to have sex with multiple partners. The mutilation, fear of death, ostracizing, keeps them in line, so, again, we can all know who's the baby's daddy. -
business opportunity for sp
fortunateone replied to dirkgently's topic in Escort Discussion for New Brunswick
I don't think you have to crunch any numbers. An sp has her rates, if someone is interested in doing a 'workout' with her, it will be at her regular rates i assume. Which would be higher than a personal trainer, i assume lol This does seem ideal for a domme type session tho, no reward at the end, just someone bossing you around on a workout routine. -
Question to the Regulars/SPs.
fortunateone replied to RuinedGeneration's topic in Escort Discussion for NFLD
Yesterday I had a new client who asked me how old did i think he was (darkened room, so i wasn't going by wrinkles), I said early 30s. Turns out he was 25. I made an assumption of age based on his behaviour, in contacting me, in booking, in the fact he showed up, didn't asked rude questions, didn't ask for a discount, and also didn't sound like a young punk thug. :) Some sps just have an age 25 cut off, they don't want to hear from you in the first place, and they won't see you even if you come off like someone in their early 30s ;) that is their own comfort zone. You can't get past the ones with posted age limits, but you can always approach any other sps in a way that will get past their unwritten kneejerk reaction when they hear an age. maybe don't mention the age unless asked, or say "i'm in my early 20s, is that OK?" because that shows that you understand that it can be an issue for sps, and you want to show her the respect to give her a chance to say no before you both invest more time into it all lol When someone asks me if it is 'OK" it predisposes me more favourably towards them. -
Last min appointment
fortunateone replied to SexxxyRebecca's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I always appreciate a 'heads up' call earlier in the day if the caller has an approx ETA and thinks they might be able to come by around (that window of time) today. Then it would be a 2nd call like you did 45 minutes ahead of the time you know for sure you can get there. In the meantime tho, the sp has already heard from you earlier so the later confirmation call isn't a surprise. The earlier call doesn't commit either one of you to that time, but she and you can be half prepared that if all things come to gether correctly for both of you, it will all work out. Even tho it seems to be a last minute booking, it really isn't completely last minute surprise. -
Does Anyone Know Anything About This?

They'll throw some more money at the anti trafficking league and congratulate themselves on solving the entire prostitution 'problem' or they will do another senate hearing study, like the one they already did in 2005. Maybe that meeting is similar. I can't remember where I read a list of people one government (possibly a municipal one) was going to 'listen' to, but I do remember reading something about high school students were going to be involved. No sex worker group listed, but high school students were. I wish i remembered if I am remembering that correctly tho or where lol -
Even tho everything may be on your website, you may find many contact you asking the same things. If many of those things are not in your ads for example, it might be a sign that more info is needed in the actual ad. Not everyone is able to go from an ad over to a website. The 2nd thing that happens when you get a lot of questions is simply that the person read the ad, and possibly the website, but they did it a few hours or even a couple of days ago. They wrote down the # to contact you because that all looked agreeable to them, but they don't remember much about the ad itself. They may have 3 to 6 different numbers. When they contact you, it is then part of your marketing job to remind them why they wrote down the number, even if it means repeating yourself. This is why i am a phone call only, no email no texting person. You can do all that in 1 minute or less, rates/description/location/services/restrictions, and no typing, no back and forth email/text questions, just one shot and done. Basically you can choose to be annoyed by their interest in spite of the info being available, or you can seize the day and make it your mission to remind them why they were attracted to your ad in the first place. Because they probably will, out of those 6 #s they wrote down, encounter at least 3 sps who are going to bark at them 'Can't you read my ad before calling???!!!!" and hang up on them lol Also, and also very important, the phone call is to confirm what they saw in the ad or site (which isn't necessarily written by the person they are contacting). if your conversation contradicts anything in the ad or site, they will be on alert seeing that as a red flag.

The best rebuttal for a guy like this is to ask him that if his work sent him to Vegas to one of the big tradeshows there, would he consider it a fun filled vacation with lots to see and do with agreeable company, or would he consider it work, since he'd be staffing the show booth from 8am to 7pm daily for 5 consecutive days, with one day before setting it up and one day after breaking it down. He'd have a few hours, in the evening, to himself for that fun filled time. still having fun? Because for an escort accompanying a CLIENT for a 7 day trip to Vegas, instead of going off the clock a t 7pm daily, she's on the clock except for sleep time. and maybe not even then.

I don't have texting on my landline phone, so when someone texts me it converts text to landline, in the form of a voice recording. So the 'voice' has had to reinterpret whatever the text was typed in and as we all know (we can see ad titles that use this) text speak is not in English lol. I've had a couple wtf what that supposed to be texts.

time and quality of service
fortunateone replied to mangotropicana's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I don't think it affects the quality, just the quantity. More time means more things can be done, but the basics can still be done in the half hour, including relaxation and conversation time. It is usually just that the conversation is active at the same time. Usually if you need a combination of both, and your time or budget doesn't allow for an hour, a half hour session that starts with massage (plus conversation) is accomplishing two things at the same time. it is not possible to have this kind of experience if, for example, the sp is starting with bjs or if the session is starting with making out. But you can get the touch and the connection at the same time. Another option is to ask about 45 minute rates again if time or budget is a concern. . -
Have you watched any good movies lately?
fortunateone replied to CristyCurves's topic in Fun Threads
I liked Oblivion, although I wasn't sure if I would or could. Tom Cruise throws me off these days, and it could have ended really stupid, but it didn't. I saw Red2 which i didn't feel had the same impact as the first Red, but i like the characters and the action anyway. -
Thanks for posting, I just arrived on the site to post this exact same story. :)

It wouldn't really matter, it is a first contact first served policy with me. Even if the calls are 2 minutes apart, someone had to call me first and request the time, and that is the person who is going to get that time. HOWEVER, keep in mind the new caller is just as likely to not confirm, and/or not show up, so caller #2, regular, may still end up with their preferred time. Many of my regs know i have a short notice confirmation/set up policy, so there is always a good chance they will call and I won't be available until a later time . Many can work that into their schedules. Additional Comments: I think that where the words are used is in ads, so words like "i'm a prostitute looking for a john" in an ad would just not be great marketing. It isn't that it isn't true, it just isn't specific enough to target a type of clientele, nor descriptive enough to indicate the type of sp or experience the advertiser wants to convey. I use words like gentlemen, classy, mature and sensual in my ads. I find that it deters the rude, aggressive and PSE seekers, and attracts a gentler, polite and courteous caller. Not 100% of course, because some callers don't actually read the ad. I think that some advertisers are misusing some terms, and making them mean less. Usually the rest of the ad or types of pictures or maybe a lack of a website, or history, make it easy for the viewer to recognize that just using the words "Elite', or "Courtesan', or "Upscale' won't actually make that sp an elite, upscale courtesan,
