  1. It is nice to know that the people who reported him were listened to. I hope sps take note that even if the wheels turn slowly in these cases, that your local LE will investigate these reports even if the one being reported is an officer. I'm not sure why the connection to PK. The article mentions his # showed up as calling an unnamed agency twice, which as anyone making appointments knows means nothing. A phone call isn't an appt, and two phone calls doesn't mean an appt either. But to me this guy crossed the line not because he was LE, not because he wanted (or said he wanted) to give safety talks to sps, and not because he didn't force free sessions on the sps on arrival. Everything I object to about this guy is he posed as a client, made an appointment, and showed up to the appointment, while posing as a client, making the sp lose real business, by thinking she has a paying client show up. Some sps go out of their way to provide and pay for an incall when meeting clients, it is a big cost to them in order to see this guy posing as a client. None of them were compensated for having their time wasted, and if they did tell him to stop doing that, it is my understanding that he ignored their comments and just carried on doing it. This is the kind of thing that gets someone listed in a blacklist, imo, and rightly so, so that other sps' time is not wasted, and they do not book any appointments with someone who is taking time away from legit clients. But in any case, knowing incalls are technically illegal, can you imagine the stress and fear that has to run through the minds of any sp expecting a legit client and opening the door to a uniformed officer, and possibly his cohort? Damn right he needed to be reported for misconduct.
  2. All those points I totally agree. The look on Spencer's face, and even on Dr. Will's when he gets an answer out of Amanda I think it was lol. Aaryn really seems remorseful, and really does seem to have learned from this . I do not think she is expert enough at spinning a new personality for herself, she seems genuine. One thing that we did not see is the first week these guys spent together before the cameras and the first episode. We see GM or Aaryn saying to Candice while fighting, 'oh is this your black side coming out?" and think what an ignorant thing to say. Later, when people talk about the first week, we find out that Candice is self describing herself as having a black side and a white side, and that she isn't always sure which side is going to come out (or something like that). We think something is a new insult, only to find out it is more of a reply to something C has often repeated about herself. Doesn't excuse 99% of of anything else the majority of them did during the live feeds, but at least it helps show where that comment came from, and from there. To me there is something wrong with someone who doesn't think there is anything wrong with talking about how they want to punch another person in the face, that they should be raped anally, or using the c-word about some of them, and call down their family members (outside of Rachel and Brendan who were public figures already).
  3. I actually saw that movie, but wouldn't have been able to give you the name lol
  4. Turns out that Andy did take GM to F2, because he got to use it as a playing the game strategy. Apparently he and GM on day one had an agreement to never put each other up, never vote each other off, and stuck with it. To be in F2 with someone like that is pretty cool, actually. He was able to keep his word to one single person. Had she or he been voted out at any other time, and the other left in F2 they could also be able to refer to that as a game playing plus for themselves. Anyway fwiw, Andy won yay lol I still have a hard time understanding why the people who were fans and did watch AD and live feeds often, didn't grasp the concept (and a lot of what got recorded was on AD, not just live feeds) that what they were saying was actually being viewed. I mean unless they think only 12 people ever watched any of it, and all 12 were in the house, how could they not know? None of the BB14 guests were ever seen doing anything like what these guys did every single day, sometimes going on for hours. it is just the most bizarre thing. maybe next year they will learn something from this years.
  5. Fortunately these bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch. It is really good to know the guys dislike the trash talkers. Having been thru a trash talk before, it gives me a warm feeling that the talker is the one least loveable and to another extent, the least credible. I don't believe in ignoring the trash talkers, I'm with mm on that one, it does need to be dealt with. How you deal with it, whether it is reports to admin, producing proof, going to LE to report the person, having them investigated by a team of peers for the purpose of conflict resolution, whatever works. At the end of the day, that same person will continue to deny and trash talk, but the truth is now out there and you've done your part, and that's about all you can do. Eventually as they say, karma bites them in the ass, and they are left with nowhere to talk trash to anyone lol. *and yes, this is posted for my stalker's eyes to realize what the real eyes are seeing
  6. Typical, at least out here, seems to be that sps do not take themselves to do an outcall, but have to pay a driver and/or taxi. I am not sure why this is the case, but it is not unusual for the reason behind an extra fee is solely to pay the driver (whether a hired driver or taxi driver), and the sp still essentially collects her normal donation, the client pays normal donation plus 50 for example. If an sp was outcall only, she isn't going to have two rates, just one, so if there are added costs, that will already be included so you won't see it as an extra added charge. If an sp is incall only and offers outcalls only reluctantly, you will see the added charge is high enough to either discourage the outcall request or cover her travel time/gas/taxi/driver, or whatever. Time away from 'home' for a mostly incall provider can cost her another appointment, so an outcall fee will be higher in order to offset the lost potential incall. I think you will see a difference between sps who drive themselves, and don't charge any or only a small outcall extra fee, versus sps who do not drive themselves, and then have to charge a fee high enough to cover that. Usually as well if the client cancels on arrival, this is the amount she will need as a cancelation fee, again to be able to pay the driver or taxi to get home again. Many sps even if they drive will take a taxi or use a driver as backup, because really at the end of the day, doing an outcall is more dangerous than incall due to not knowing what you are stepping into.
  7. I agree, reword your agreement to include the word "non-refundable" whether it is that you accept half as a deposit ahead of time, and the other half later. the first half would be completeley nonrefundable after a certain date. Legally, you present an agreement that has everything spelled out in advance, so there is no room to argue. After that, if the person is insistent, or you are feeling somewhat generous, or whatever you can include a clause in there that depends on how much notice you are given, what sort of cancelation fee is charged. In the business of selling goods, if someone returns an item in good condition for refund, they will only get 75 % of the cost, because in the fine print it will say there is a 25% restocking fee. You can have such a thing that allows you to provide a nearly full refund, minus a cancelation feel of whatever amount you decide (but you have to put it in writing) that will help offset the costs of late cancelations like this. So no one gets a full 100% refund because you have costs associated with the CC processing, but they will get a fair amount back, if you set it up that way. And legally they won't have any kind of case to sue you or demand full refund, because when they entered into the agreement, they agreed to your terms of the agreement, including the nonrefundable dates, and the cancelation fees. Example, cost is $4000 and date is October 1, event is December 1. Terms are full refund less a 10% cancelation fee until November 1. If someone cancels before November 1, they will be refunded $3600. After November 1st, the client will receive full refund less a 50% late cancelation fee. If they cancel between Nov 1 and November 14, they will receive $2000. And after November 15, the entire fee is nonrefundable. They will receive nothing, as per the terms of the agreement. The final clause in the agreement is that payment of the fee indicates acceptance of the terms of the agreement as outlined above.
  8. What I object to every year is their lack of followup on the show. The winner is announced, winner comes out of the house, confetti falls, and that is that. End credits. I have always wanted to see much more time spent after the final vote, just the same way all the evicted guests are given a short interview, why have they never done that with the last two? Doesn't make sense to me, and has always been very unsatisfying. Plus, BB is not like survivor, no one in the media has ever seemed to care to have any kind of story about the ending lol. Rumours are the families of the evicted guests, or some of them, are stirring up lawsuits for slander based on the comments by the final 3 or more, and will sue them for some of the winnings I guess. Unless that is just another one of those fake rumours lol. But yes, it is going to be awkward for the final 3 to realize the announcements made by their employers. I think Spencer is OK with his job, the company just said the opinions expressed blah blah. I think this is the year that all of the jury members and F2 as well need to have an interview afterwards to find out what's going on with all these statements by their employers, to see if that was just something for the bad publicity, rather than something they can even legitimately follow thru with. People have contracts, it isn't that easy to fire people without a direct cause. AD indicates that GM and A have confirmed with production they are taking each other, and that production wants an update if that changes for either of them. So i think it safe to say each will take the other, since they are the only 2 deciding factors being the only ones doing the 3rd HOH challenge. I believe GM, since she doesn't normally go back on her decisions, but I think if she wants to be sure, she had best win, because he is slippery.
  9. Both Brad and roaminguy have explained my comments well. I am not sure what point loopie is trying to make by focusing on my comment, when the focus of that is a younger man (22) being lied to by the 15 year old who claims to be 18, and he believed her. He is looking to be with someone 18, not someone who is 15 in other words, even being 18 might make him question if she is too young for him. I forgive him for believing the lie that she told him in order to convince him she is old enough to date him, that there isn't much of an age gap between them. But 18 isn't the right age for a 35 plus year old to consider as a suitable dating companion. This has nothing to do with the sp/client relationship and their relative ages, fwiw. Only dating, BF/GF situations, which I consider open to more of an exploitive situation. When you take the 18 year old (as in the legal age to work as an sp and the legal age to provide consent to working as an sp) out of this discussion you are left with the 17 and unders, btw. If someone think it is appropriate to take advantage of the desire that is growing in the developing bodies and sexuality of a teenager, then they have to assume that others are going to see them either as predatory or emotionally immature. What you see in a 15 year old is the ability to have a crush on someone older. This is why there are laws against dating them, in order to give them time to get beyond school girl crush immaturity which will develop into mature adult relationship ability. School girls don't usually have crushes on same age guys, so being BF/GF with a same age guy is entirely possible. When
  10. BB since my last post. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Mccrae got evicted, Spencer, Ginamarie and Andy are the final 3. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz GM won the first of the 3 part HOH, Andy won the 2nd, making me not want to watch because oddly i am now rooting for anyone except Andy lol Everyone else looks great!! Even David!!!
  11. At some magical point, it will 'click'. The first test/midterm I ever failed in my entire school life was the first of 3 in my first Accounting course at college. bleh. By the final exam I had the highest mark in the class. Really, some things that seem impossible now, you will get that moment of connecting with it. So if you learn well with pen and paper, go get it and do it :) On the computer, i always feel like you can't see the whole picture, with paper and notebook in front of you, you can spread it out and see what is going on.
  12. Watched Skyfall recently, as well as the documentary about the Bond movies, Everything or Nothing 007 All of the Bonds except Connery took part in the film, fwiw. Even George Lazenby who no one remembers lol
  13. You make a criminal out of the 22 year old because if you don't, then you are also not making a criminal out of a 35 year old, or 45 year old or 55 year old. The girl is still 15. or 14, or apparently, 13, since according to the definition, only the 12 year olds are considered prepubescent and therefore off limits? See the difference? And yes, it doesn't matter how you spin it or how 'willing' the 15 year old is, there isn't enough life experience to make that informed consent. So you put the onus on the adult, the one over 5 years older than her, to be the one making the informed decision. From a female perspective, which is the assumption here, any interest in a 15 year old (as in a 15 year old who admits their age, not the 15 year old who tells the 22 year old she is 18 ) is predatory. On that note, as a 16 year old I was easily able to enter a licensed bar without ID check. As a 19 year old, I celebrated my 19th birthday in my favourite club, the one I'd been a regular at for over a year. I am not much of a drinker so it was about the dancing not the drinking lol. So i do forgive the 22 year old who is lied to , but if the 15 year old lies and says they are 18, I really don't forgive the 45 year old who pursues her.
  14. Sometimes it is awkward meeting someone new, sometimes you end up feeling self conscious or overly 'aware' of yourself and what you are doing and wondering if the client is OK, or wonders what you are doing, lol. This is not unusual in first visits. I had a client once who seemed very unresponsibe, kind of slow to talk, so much of the session was quiet, and for me awkward. Even the getting dressed and end of the session time felt off. However at the door on his way out he gives me a smile and asks can he come back and see me again (the start of a long relationship lol). Turns out part of the reason for the quiet is he is hard of hearing :)
  15. Just for the record, pubescent refers to children who are not yet teenagers, so maybe a very poor word choice here :) In fact it is very much against the law for any older man to even have consensual sex with a teenager who is at the age of consent of 16, if he is more than 5 years older. And a 16 year old would not be pubescent anyway.
  16. I've been there many times as well. Sad to see Janet quit while on one of the episodes. Those tall statues were awesome, if you remember seeing the cowboy, Bruce Lee, etc. I recommend Arctic Air, great views of the north (Yellowknife I think it is), awesome insight into that community and the northern way of life as well. Rookie Blue and The Listener are based in Toronto, not Toronto pretending to be a US city. Motive and Continuum make Vancouver a major part of their shows. And of course, Real Housewives of Vancouver. :) There are a lot of excellent Canadian based TV shows, I think.
  17. There are rumours the main producer is leaving (willingly or not) the show, and it almost sounds like she wanted to sabotage the show with this crew. Last year was the first year there was After Dark, but there have been live feeds all along, right, so any of these BB fans would know that everything is being recorded. They seem to have no self awareness of this fact, yet BB14 houseguests sure seemed to realize it, and act accordingly. That or the last seasons' houseguests were just better people. Makes you wonder, how could casting or the producers have found so many really unpleasant racist people all in one season, it doesn't make sense (to quote Amanda). And not just racist, since they don't seem to have anything good to say about a number of people for what reason no one seems to know. Elissa may have been a popular idea by being Rachel's sister, but she was also popular on her own merits (as in not being nasty to people or racist or sexist or rude, most of the time). She kind of stood out amongst the others because of what she wasn't doing, compared to them. I know Judd is going, because GM is so injured no one think she can win anything physical, and she isn't good at the other comps. I don't mind Mcrae going to the end, again, because he hasn't been as bad as the others (NO CHANCE TO BECAUSE HE SLEEPS ALL DAY), and because he is working hard by himself to win stuff, (which is what he should have been doing from day one, to impress us all, and show he deserves to win because we ALL wanted him to win from day one when he became HOH thru the endurance comp against all those more physical guys and women, for that matter. (he reminds me of my ex when i was their age, lol, as did their relationship younger man older woman kind of thing lol) The interesting thing about live feeds and After Dark is that even tho you see two having a conversation about F2 or F3, etc, and who they are voting out for sure for sure, you can also see that same person doing the same thing with 2 other people, so even tho you think you know what will happen, you don't know because he is lying to either all of them, or all but one of them. The only thing that you really knew was during the show about who was getting evicted because that was always a house decision, up until Amanda actually I think. That was the only time it wasn't either unanimous or a single pity vote. At this point, I find both Andy and Spencer disgusting people, and would prefer GM and McCrae as F2. Just because they offend me less than the other two. I'd go for Judd, who is the least offensive of all of them, but he's just too unstable or something just off about him. part of winning BB is choosing your partners wisely, and it seems to me that he and Mc and GM kind of failed when they didn't keep Elissa, and could have gotten out Spencer for example, or Andy. Those are the two to get rid of for sure. Elissa would be easy to get rid of at any time, they didn't need the double eviction to do that. Andy will be there way past anyone's ability to get rid of him, I think.
  18. And if all that tells you to make contact, then take the time to talk to the sp. Not endless emails or texts with long stories of what your fantasy is, but a short chat to find out a little about her personality. Takes 5 minutes of your time, and may be the difference between a good time and a mistake. Every time i have read a bad review, i would go and look at the ad (in the days of CL erotic ads) and shake my head as if to say, well, what did you really expect. If it were me, they would have lost me at the ad itself, the presentation, the spelling, the wild symbols, and text spelling, and what seems like a million other things, including one line, phone # and 5 pics being the total of the ad lol., Sps who care about their business, care about how they present themselves from the minute their title catches your eye to the end of the ad. That's why we are so miffed when people call and they didn't take the time to read all the way to the end of the ad, the part with all the important info they are now calling to ask us.
  19. Yes, that last part is so common. If an sp speaks up to say she is pleased with her choice of work for any reason, she is just going to be labeled as 'privileged' and can't possibly understand (as well as the non-sex workers can understand) this topic I guess. You do have the opportunity to include links to some of the sex worker organizations in various country, talk about the red umbrella stuff, links to articles and interviews (like the ones Berlin has been involved with) and so on. There are some very basic boring workplace information linked on the New Zealand Prostitutes Collective, for example. Post a link to the Occupational Health and Safety documents that regulate the sex work industry in New Zealand, for a good way to help make this titillating business mundane. Of course sex work is about money, and providing income to pay the rent, pay bills, and other things, just like any other kind of 'work'. That is why it's called sex 'work' and not just sex. i don't understand why the abolitionist groups try to make sex work into something different than other kinds of work. Some workers are exploited and some aren't, whether you are working construction (big human trafficking and slavery case in Ontario not that long ago was in the construction business), retail, fast food or sex work. An independent sex worker is more likely to be self motivated, whereas one working for an agency may be told what she has to provide, and what rates she can charge. Like any other employee in any other kind of business, she may be ok with that, or not. If not, she will either seek employment elsewhere, or go indy so she can make her own rules. Ask any retail clerk what they do when they don't like their employer's rules, and working conditions, and whether or not they feel trapped continuing with the job they have, or not. I think one of the reasons why other people think they can speak on behalf of sex workers is due to gender, some people think some women are incapable of making choices for themselves that are good for them. It is infantilization of adult women for others to come in and save them. There is an assumption that sex workers, in general, lack education, certainly no post secondary degrees. So the ones with BAs and MAs and PhDs want to come in and 'save' these poor unfortunate sps, who don't know what is good for them, in spite of the fact that many of them talk back and say they don't want saving, they are trying to pay for their own education, to get their own MA, BA or PhD lol
  20. There is nothing inherently wrong with either the sps or the clients who use bp, just as there is nothing guaranteed right about either the sps or the clients who only use cerb. Savvy folks on both sides of the equation will use both, the sps have to make a living, and the clients have to have either a varied selection, or at least the illusion of selection lol. What usually baffles me are the ones, on both sides, who seem to forget that there are many of us, on both sides, who do use both, along with many other advertising options. We can't all be wrong. For me, usually the better clients come from my bp ads, less likely to ask for discounts, or half hour sessions for that matter. I'd be an idiot not to use it, if that is the result i get from it. * wow, just noticed how old this thread is lol
  21. It's safe to go into the water again. Amanda has finally been evicted, after histrionics, much weeping, more fighting, acceptance, hope (elissa said she'd vote to keep her, probably the dumbest move any houseguess has made since the one who volunteered to be a pawn and got voted out), then back to arrogance and strutting around (making one hope that Elissa was just stringing her along in order to make the fall so much more fantastic, but that is only because everyone except Amanda, McC and Elissa knew already that Andy was no longer part of the Mccranda team lol), and ironically one of the things Amanda throws back at GM while arguing is 'you can't vote anyway, GM', only to find out at the eviction night, GM can and did vote, because there was a TIE. So now there are five, 4 of whom are in an alliance (sorry McCrae!!! maybe you should have stepped up TO PLAY THE GAME sooner, instead of spending 23/24 hours a day IN BED WITH DEMANDA) an alliance formed by a bunch of singles or pairs who looked around and discovered, except for McCranda and Elissa, this is what is left over after the rampaging Amanda got thru with the house. hmm, what to do...????....
  22. So it does sound like you were all the way out the door, door closed and locked behind you, before you heard what appeared to you, from all the way outside, two different people laughing. What I am sensing tho from this is you are also assuming that the sps were making a joke at your expense and laughing at you and about you. What you are missing is that there is a very good chance that once the door closed behind you, you were not the topic of conversation or humour. If the hair was a concern, you could have simply asked her about it. Oh, your pics showed very long black hair. Give her a chance to come up with a reason for the difference, and you can also say it was a reason for your choice. Many guys love long hair, and specific styles of hair, it is a valid reason for asking. I think that if everything went well in the session, and the 2nd person (you assume) was not intrusive or noticeable before and during and even at the point of exit, that this is the best possible way that someone can share their space and/or be working with a safety person at the same time. I think, to the point of you being actually outside, they (if there were really 2 people) did everything they could to reassure you of both privacy and discretion. You didn't see a 2nd person, and she didn't see you, both of you have retained your privacy in other words. There seems to be a small move for sps to tell clients that they have another person in the suite when they arrive, particularly another sp, for the reason of safetly. It might even be that there is no other person there, but the sp with a first time client wants him to think she has backup close by in case he gets any ideas. The reality is that some sps in some places see more bad date types of guys, and sometimes we get reports that there are people out there targeting sps. Even if it is not physical harm, there are some guys who deliberately make appointments in order to steal from sps. So for those sps, and some of us as well, a huge red flag to me is a new caller asking am I alone. I'd rather they don't ask, because I have to ask myself then, why does he want to know that?? I also am likely to turn down someone who sounds either overly paranoid (the sort who assumes someone is hiding in the closet or bathroom, very annoying), or up to something. We just don't take the chance on a new client, in other words, especially when, as even your story shows, you entered, enjoyed and left without being any the wiser about the 2nd sp. It was only after the fact it became an issue, and even then, imo, it isn't an issue.
  23. ^^ and that when he makes an appointment, he shows up to the appointment. If the sp you saw isn't in the online community, it doesn't mean that she is inaccessible. You would contact her to see if she is reference friendly, and if she is, then let her know you would like to use her as a reference for yourself for (name the sp). She may provide an email contact. You'd give the new sp the contact info and let her know the sp is expecting to be contacted by her. if the sp you have chosen just doesn't have an alternative, there are other sps available who can, I am sure. And considering what you have mentioned in your original post, do not rule out an MA as not being 'worth it'. If you are new to this, an MA may actually be your better option, considering in your first appointment there were some concerns. You may need the different kind of care and attention that comes with an MA experience, just to get your feet wet, so to speak, without the pressure of having to have an erection to get to the 'worth it' point that comes with an sp :)
  24. I'm with the guy who talks about 'open minded' being similar to using the term 'GFE' in an ad. It only means what the sp who posted the ad wants it to mean, nothing more and nothing less, and sometimes it is just a tag line meant to get the phone to ring, nothing more and nothing less. And sometimes, shocker, the ad is simply copied from someone else in another city and has nothing to do with the sp you are calling, but ended up in the ad because she stole it from a US advertiser where the term actually meant something in code for that US sp lol. Never overthink this stuff, outside of very specific acronyms, these things like 'all inclusive', 'GFE', 'PSE', "ymmv" and "open minded' among other things are not worth the time to examine and define to anyone's satisfaction, because the majority of clients and sps are not reading these definitions and will simply redefine them any way they wish. And some of them have no idea of what the original meaning of 'open minded' used to be, or some of them use it because they do know, but they aren't aware of what it is being used for now. On one agency site, the term was used only for sps who didn't wish to have their actual services listed or defined as either GFE or PSE or FS only or any other label. They reserved the right to tell the client in person face to face what they did or didn't do, and sometimes that meant that one guy might get a kiss, while another one didn't. This way they couldn't be forced into a certain menu it gave them the freedom to decide for themselves at the time.
