  1. I got lucky with the show airing on a channel that it doesn't regularly come on, that is an Eastern channel. I got all excited to set up a series recording using that station, but alas, no more shows at all scheduled on that station. In the After Dark show, it shows Janelle scheming away. And then this week she would go talk to someone, like Dan, then come back to another person, like Britney and tell Brit that Dan was for sure voting for her. But we see them talking, and Dan never said it. Plus Brit has an alliance with Dan, and she knows he didn't say it. But then after J talks with Brit, who also doesn't promise a vote, she goes to keep trying Dan by saying Brit is defnitely voting for her. Then I think she was always talking about other people, from her team as well, to others usually in a derogatory manner. Then lie to their faces if asked about it. Then there was the fake crying scene with Wil lol. Then the final scene where she is telling someone that Boogie asked her to work with him, and she turned him down. And we all saw on AD that it went completely the other way with that. But I think the real final straw was all the wheeling and dealing she was doing trash talking Frank, making up stories about him to turn him into some sort of monster lol. I thought it was kind of funny that not even Ashley voted for her. She figured it was an opportunity to finally get rid of Janelle, as she had often complained of being bullied around, but wasn't the sort of person willing to confront her. Boogie's HOH throw wasn't even undeniable, like "oops, hit the button, sorry" kind of thing. I think even Frank wanted the opportunity to at least try to answer lol. I guess Boogie couldn't take the risk he chose the wrong answer, because he'd win the round by default. On AD, in a meeting, they discussed the proper way to do that kind of an elimination game. You always put up two from the same team together, that way you guarantee one will be eliminated, and pick away at them like that. You don't put up one of your guys and one of theirs, in other words. It is a pretty good strategy, similar to the evictions. If you have two you want to leave, you put both up to ensure at least one goes. Joe will go. As you can tell from the voting for Janelle, there is a pretty clear line that has been drawn, and he is the only one on his side lol. the only way he can be saved is if he wins the Veto, and I can't see that happening.
  2. It is very expensive, and time consuming to get to Halifax. More so if going to New Brunswick. I do travel arrangement for a friend all the time, and the rates are outrageous. I did one for roundtrip to Paris from Vancouver for less than what it costs to go one way Vancouver to Halifax, and those are at seat sale rates. People don't understand all this when they want an sp to visit, be in a nice place for incalls, and has to set her rates.
  3. She didn't get two votes, only one. And still in total denial about what she did to get evicted. (I am assuming you guys have seen the episode on East coast time by now lol). Some of her lies just seemed to be lies for the sake of lying. They didn't really have any real purpose lol. I still kind of peg her for a sociopath tho lol, even after eviction her only thought was about herself, and getting even with Boogie I think. I'm starting to wonder if there even is a baby lol. I also don't want the coaches in the game. Never did, and it is so funny how the only reason one of them is out is because of the other 3. Otherwise the newbies would just carry on, letting themselves be picked off one by one until a coach (or two) is there in the final 3 and they are all looking at each other wondering why they couldn't get them out. I don't mind either Shane, Frank or Danielle to win, with the help of the coaches, simply because those 3 (more so than the coaches) are actually winning competitions. They are the only ones to win HOH and Vetos. Next week Joe will be gone, but I think the 5 some with Ian will be working to take out Boogie sooner rather than later. Britney will probably not be a target for quite a while, and I don't think Dan's style is actually working for him this year. Boogie thinks it was all him manipulating to get Janelle out, but the reality is he just helped Danielle to get what she always wanted by talking the only person in her way into doing it: Dan.
  4. I googled this famous The Erotic Highway (I'd never heard of it), and it took me to TER. I wonder why they didn't just say TER lol. I find their findings a bit interesting. I wonder if they realize that getting their 'data' from posts on an escort review forum, especially one like that. I am not sure that the minority of men who think that way is as 'significant' as they claim.
  5. Very acceptable. I've had two reviews that were very accurate, and they were not more than a couple of lines. All anyone should have to know is whether the sp is an honest advertiser, are the rates and services as advertised, as well as the self description. Other helpful tips can be about the booking process, or the parking for that matter. The ending can be whether you would repeat, but if you are not a repeat sort of person then you just leave that out.
  6. For these kind of enquiries, I don't see the need to share the details that you didn't want to put in the reco itself. Sorry, but that is just my POV. If you left out the details because of the sp request, or your own reasons, no one else needs to have the details, period. If they are asking about things the lady does not advertise, you simply say ask her. If they are asking about things she does advertise, you simply tell them to view her ads or website. I sometimes get the idea that some of the pms or replies in recos or reviews are the guy is too lazy to go find out for himself. Or as you suspect, might be only interested in juicy details.
  7. I don't think it happens often because most people respect their partners privacy. You have to wonder what is going on when someone is checking line by line on phone records, to the point of googling the number in order to know what the call was for before then calling it, and to sift thru their SO's emails. I am always curious about the answer to 'why does she even know this" about her SO, and if she knows that he phoned or contacted one, why doesn't she know he didn't actually see the sp (as in no followup phone calls or emails with times, and so on). Had this SO been actually reading emails, they wouldn't have seen any sort of a reply in this case. So the over reaction I kind of agree seems a bit suspect, especially if it is coinciding with a trip announcement on sp ad sites. Just saying that "another sp" is always my knee jerk reaction anytime some irate female contacts me. But it is very rare. And this email exchange seems to include some threats to contact LE about Emily working in that city, that has to be taken seriously whether it is an SO or another sp.
  8. Yes, I think it rather insulting she says the only cosmetic surgery she's had is her boobs, when it is clear her lips were pumped up lol. I do watch the full 3 hours, 7 days a week, plus what they edit for the 3 x a week hour show. And do you know what really bothers me the most about Janelle? She would rather be on BB (as in pushed the reset button to play the game, and be there longer), than to be home with her very new baby. Even Boogie has a t shirt with his son's picture, and mentions him during the 3 hour shows. It was what Dan asked for as collateral, because even he knew it had meaning. (the tshirt I mean lol) But Janelle never mentions her baby, never says she is missing her, or pretty much nothing unless someone asks her about it directly. I don't know of any new mother who isn't a sociopath who can stop talking about her baby, or is willing to go off just to be on a TV show rather than be with them, especially a first baby for an older mom.
  9. Last time there were more newbies than returning guests, the vets wiped the floor with the newbies. Just like will happen this year, even tho they have the prior example. I like the After Dark because I find the actual shows twist what is really happening behind the scenes. They leave an impression that isn't real, like that Boogie is all bad, and Janelle is a victim or even that she is a nice person. None of that is true. Boogie is working hard to keep someone in the game, even at the expense of an alliance that could get him further. He isn't and wasn't interested in that. He feels he'd win at the coaching title, what he really wanted, if he can keep Frank in the game and to the end. He's willing to be nominated and expelled to help that happen. Janelle is ready to put up her own team members, and promise anything, in order to keep all 4 coaches in the game. The only alliance she is interested in is the 4 coaches. Dan is sneaky because from last night's After Dark it seems clear that is also what he wants. This is probably the only opportunity anyone will ever have to get Janelle out, and he is trying really hard to tell Danielle (who really really wants to do it) that it actually won't be a good idea. She is right, J will be after her and Shane. The thing is will she trust Dan? Because she shouldn't. He has no intention of taking her to the end, but she is useful right now. He only wants to be Boogies partner, and the only way to get himself there is to get Frank out. It makes no sense to not align with Boogies suggestion, which is Frank, Shane, Brit, Danielle, Dan and Boogie. If they don't, Boogie will go to Janelle, and work to get them out, he is unlikely to work with Dan and Britney as a coach team. That's my thoughts after staying up until 2 fricking AM last night to watch the full 3 hours lol. With the After Dark, I think you have to PVR it (I do and I don't usually watch the whole thing), and I think that you have to commit to all the shows or nothing. And yes, there are times when all they show is Danielle in the tub shaving her legs, or 4 guys sitting at the table staring at nothing. And Wil needs to take out the extensions. They do not look good, and he's picking at his scalp all the time. It is really not attractive. :)
  10. Those clubs are actually illegal in Canada now afaik. The brothels in Australia, and New Zealand could give you that now, until or unless the bawdy house law gets fully overturned. By the minute was invented, in my opinion, on review forums driven by clients. In the past, rates were set by services, not by time. The time would be up to the hour, but in general, you paid one amount for a hj, another for a bj, and another for FS. There was no GFE, ever, most understood the risks of risky services. If your hj was taking too long, the sp would need more $$, and the same for bj or FS lol Oh, and normally you got a nice massage/rub beforehand. But the guys would say that the sp tells them it is supposed to be an hour or half hour, but they didn't get that, and slowly but surely now we are all 'on the clock', and the time is more important than the service to a certain extent. time/rate combo that is. I think to be honest in the past that the times quoted were actually code for the service. Like she would say 200 for a half hour and 300 for an hour, but what she meant was 200 for a bj and 300 for FS. Time had nothing to do with it. It is similar to the old asian joke of "love you long time", well it goes along with 'love you short time'. One is FS and the other is a bj. In the past you didn't discuss rates for services in details on the phone, and there weren't any advertising venues that allowed for it either. People are so spoiled now, they don't even want to talk on the phone, they want everything in text or email and spoonfed the information about rates/services and details lol.
  11. ^^^ I think those final words by Samantha are key here, and worth repeating: She is happy with the outcome. She has a happy outcome because she did something proactive about her situation. She didn't sit and fret and stew and complain to other clients about the guy, she made notes, save messages, save emails, asked that he stop doing what he was doing, and neither telling him to stop nor ignoring him worked. I see no reason to allow anyone to get away with threats and intimidation, and the sp in the OP needs to report this guy asap, for her own peace of mind, her safety, and potentially for the safety of other women and sps. She doesn't need to be concerned if she has enough info to charge and convict the guy. That isn't her job, and she wouldn't have any idea how much info is needed. All she needs is enough information to file a report on him, enough contact info so the police can find him, and let them do their job. Even if all they did was contact him to follow up on the report, that can be enough to dissuade him from continuing to try to contact her. And then she too can be happy with the outcome, because she has actually done something to stop it. Plus she will feel confident to not allow anyone to try it again. After saving emails, messages, and noting the phone #s, the other obvious things to do is block the phone # and block the emails, so he can't reach her.
  12. I like Ian too, altho I don't like the ones who make a proclamation and won't sway from it. Like he won't vote out someone who can't further him in the game or against the team. I can see floaters always being left behind, not this week, not this week, etc, same as with Brendon and Rachel last year. Until finally it is too late and they win. I must say Willie was right about one thing: they are individuals and should play like any other BB game. Not as a team and not be afraid to make alliances that they stick with. It was the downfall of Dan's team, Britney's team and the next target's 'team' will go the same way. You can't be in a team if the team is a target. And there will only be one winner, so more reason to make an alliance that makes you part of 1 or 2 other 'teams",. Janelle was trying to initiate a blow up with Jojo with some lies, I assume to make sure that no one would vote for her if she went ballistic. Jojo at the end of the live feed clearly wasn't going to, and took some of the wind out of Janelle's sails. Janelle specifically trying to get Danielle into feeling like crap pretending Jojo was calling her fat, etc. Now she's telling Wil and Joe to go lie to Shane's face about making a deal with him for next week, to say they won't put him up but just turn around and do it anyway even if he does put up Frank. I'd like to see Frank, Shane and Danielle in the final 3 fwiw. I like Frank, much more honest than Wil and Joe. I thought Ashley was on the wrong team, but it seems pretty obvious she really is more like Wil and Joe and Janelle than first thought. I am a fan of showmances, and the only ones most likely are Shane and Danielle lol.
  13. I am wondering if they really do have that power. If they did, wouldn't they have dealt with the issue by simply doing that in the first place. The idea of what I call the 4 Laws was an attempt to abolish prostitution, so wouldn't simply drafting a law that actually did that make more sense than the bawdy house, solicition and living off the avails laws? The fact that in the 80's they came up with the nuisance laws (to reduce the street trade), implies that either it isn't something they can change or they really don't have any incentive to do that.
  14. If it is a first visit, I must say I prefer someone to come in with the idea of either non-FS or a half hour, maybe the 45. Let's find out if what I provide is what the client is looking for, and let's not commit before we get started, is my POV. My style tho is very conducive to getting clients relaxed and at ease within a few minutes of arrival. There is no rush rush to get going, it is possible to chat and be touched at the same time, and not feel like the end is nigh. I can't imagine why the sp here only does 30 minutes. I have a feeling that might be what she says to new clients, and after arrival or on a 2nd visit she will entertain for longer sessions.
  15. Out west the 15 isn't very common. The blow&go is, and if that isn't in your ad, then that's why guys who call on your BC or AB ads aren't asking about it probably. I think out east the 15 is the equivalent of the 'just a bj" rate enquiry. You could try putting "One Hour Minimum" in your bp ad to help filter. They aren't going to look at your website if you have info and a ph # in the ad. Many viewers can barely make it past the phone # portion of ads, as far as I can tell from some of the phone calls I get. :(
  16. I do like Britney a lot as well. I think that it will be predictable about how it plays out in upcoming shows, as it seems the most unpleasant ones are the ones who last longest. No one ever takes the time to get rid of the real threats!! lol There are times you look at Britney and she is just incredibly beautiful. More so now she is a couple of years older than her season. If you watched the After Dark you would get insight into how devious and unpleasant and out right liar Janelle is behind people's backs, the same with Wil and Joe for that matter. Ashley comes off as a bit ditzy, but really she fits in really well wiith that crew on many levels. Very devious.
  17. Your keyboard has set itself to French or something like that. The quick fix is hitting control plus shift as many times as it takes to re set it. I should write it down, it was happening to me all the time. There is a fancy and more complicated way to fix it, but the two keys pressed at the same time method does work. Just not necessarily the first time.
  18. hBefore I get worn out reading all the new posts and topics, I think I had better start this thread. I was trying to find last years thread on this topic, but it isn't that easy to search for it lol. So, anyone watching Big Brother 14 this year? I know there was a topic on this about last season, so pretty sure there is a fan or two here. One of the things about the show is that it is on 3 days a week. So already if you watch you are locked into crazy amounts of TV each week for one program. Next thing is new this year they show 3 hours called Big Brother After Dark which is presented in the US on Showtime, but in my area on Slice. So 3 days a week x one hour regular programs, plus 7 days a week 3 hour program shown late nights every night, = an insane 24 hours a week (less commercials). I am just hoping that I lose interest in the nightly shows soon, but even so, I'm not the craziest out there. To my own credit, I do not stay up until 2am to watch these 3 hour episodes lol. They show a 24/7 live feed online you can sign up for (for a fee), so I am not the nuttiest bar on the shelf because I never have done that. This is the first year I have seen any of this unedited version of events as they happen, so that's interesting too. Of note, 4 previous houseguests returned this year as 'coaches", and one new cast member was Kara Monaco, Playboy Playmate of the year 2006. :)
  19. I don't think I ever get my message approval right. I can see them but when I do it, it just gives me an error that I haven't selected anything to be approved, so assuming they show up to others. I think maybe in settings you either have it set that you have to approve them or not?
  20. My thoughts: I would never want to see anyone I did not talk with directly, provide my dos, don'ts and rates, get a feel for him and what he is looking for, finding out if he is sober and reasonable. Go agency and you will lose your control over who you see. Unless you do as one agency I read about: they get the call, then give you the client's phone #, you call him back to make the final arrangements for the appt (giving location, etc)
  21. http://www.nsra-adnf.ca/cms/file/pdf/120424_map_and_table.pdf Must depend on the frequency. Some say they are a half pack a day, others 2 packs? Ontario it says $80.00 for 200 (which I think might be 10 packs.) Smoking info: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/2011/07/29/f-smoking-statistics.html
  22. No, not at all. Altho to be fair, a newbie sp might think it is, like they use GFE inappropriately because they see it in other ads (or of course, they copy/pasted someone else's ad and didn't read it). Guys still call me up asking if I 'Party". That is your clue that they are looking to trade drugs for services, or are looking for an sp who will do drugs with them (and so may be lax in time, rates or restrictions), or is just cool with hanging out with them while they do drugs (including smoking it). Some more experienced sps are ok with that, they know what to expect. The clients on the other hand may be lax about what services they expect (sometimes none) and lose track of what they are paying. They may be a bit more malleable, in other words. (oh, gee look at the time (after 20 minutes) did you want to extend? At 300/hr or more). There is an agency here that only advertises for guys looking for party sps, for example.
  23. ^^ My father smoked, and quit, then started again off and on after he initially quit. But I grew up in a one smoker house, and my mother offered to us kids that if we decide we want to smoke, she'll buy the first pack. None of us smoke, or even tried and quit afaik. I don't think anyone wanted to say hey, what about that money for smokes? Or be smoking and have her ask why we didn't ask for the $ freely offered. I hate to say but the health risks in my family seem to be minimal. Heavy smokers after 70 years of chain smoking finally die at 85, as far as I can see (one of my grandfathers rolled his own, so unfiltered). The non smokers who live with second hand smoke die at 95. It is pretty hard to take us out. My dad is 87 as well, very good health after clearing out his arteries which was more due to bad eating habits in his 30s lol The other thing she did was say that we can swear but not until we are 19 or something, can't remember what it was, but none of us really swear either. For myself, I could never justify paying for cigarettes when there were other things I would prefer to use my money on. I find it a huge waste of money, money that could be spent on so many other interesting things from travel to cars.
  24. I find that the majority of clients I agree to see have already passed that 'connectivity' test before they even show up. To me, being polite, respectful and giving me the impression of being easy going and not aggressive or judgmental is going to make me want to see them. After arrival, then it goes further into does what I provide satisfy what he is looking for, and if so he will let me know. I don't want anyone of us to feel uncomfortable or regretful, so the best thing I can do comes in only agreeing to see someone I think I will be a good match for. If it works out, he will either say he'll call again when leaving, or he will call again. That would be the best compliment and what I am really striving for, because the people I like to see are the ones who want to see me, and those are the ones who I connect best with. For regulars, anyone qualifies to be a regular only after the 3rd visit, and only if there are more visits after the 4th. I consider anyone who when the # appears, I know exactly who it is. That could be a year later.
