It is because services vary that the term itself is not as important as whether or not the provider provides the services you want to have. It can even vary from location. Where in the west someone might say GFE it is assumed you know that means cbjs and kissing, but may not include daty. In the east someone saying GFE is may be presumed that means bbbjs, kissing and probably daty. In some circumstances the services provided by someone using GFE in their ads would to me out here be only used by someone who advertises as PSE, meaning that they also offer a cof, cim, and possibly greek. So to me it is a fairly meaningless term. I think the only exception might be that someone puts rates on their ads/site, and then they have an extra charge designated as GFE extra 50 or something. This can be common in an mp setting out here, where the standard rates are for FS sessions, and where not all sps provide GFE items, so the ones that do have the extra charge option.

That's often one big reason for it. Reaction to the screening requirements = reaction in person. Compliant and cooperative or balks and tries to get around it. All clues on first encounters. But I would say for work info on its own my guess is it is 99% due to avoiding LE.

Beware of Trina from CL
fortunateone replied to boomer01's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
This could just very well be a disgruntled exbf or ex client making up bs, to cause trouble. The location of the ad itself is immaterial. CL has no ES section anymore, meaning the ad might have been in therapeutic. To discount all CL TS ads as bogus or whatever other words and condescension seen above is really over the top. ' I have mentioned before, probably will many times over lol, but dissing an entire advertising site at the expense of the legit advertisers who use it is really mean and petty. The site has nothing to do with the quality or perceived lack of quality, just because it may be free to post on it. It is like saying anyone who uses/used it is low class trash, and frankly as a user of that and any other site, that is really offensive. We all know that paying for ads does not make an sp a great sp, and not paying for them does not make them trash. -
Depends on your location. In some areas, sps have to be wary of LE. If she was accustomed to working unlicensed in AB, she would be accustomed to ensuring the client provides this info to be checked. So, you just have to keep in mind what the concerns are for sps in your area. I don't think the concerns of the Ottawa sps are the same as the ones in Nova Scotia, or Alberta, and so on. Oodles of U.S. sps require this info, or references. Its their best way to avoid LE. Oodles of American clients provide a whole bunch of info without being asked, for that matter. Like Angela, I'm short notice and don't check that kind of thing out. But I am also in a location that LE isn't knocking on the door, or trying to set up stings of some kind, or bylaws isn't after me as an unlicensed provider so they can ding me with a fine. I've had american clients, and they fully disclose their work history. I've had Canadian clients who call from their workplace for info, then call from their personal cel for address info. I've had two different guys cal from the same workplace, not once but twice (two different companies, 4 different guys). I've had guys call from the courthouse, and city hall, and the fire department they work at, and make appts that way cuz they don't want to use their personal celphones lol. I've had someone call from a payphone for info, then the same one to make the appt, and turned out he was actually working inside my building on another floor. This he shares with me, but doesn't want to share his personal cel phone # lol. (Since an apartment being renovated was two floors below me, I think I could figure out where he was at lol). Sure, you don't have to provide the info requested, and sure that will mean you won't be seeing that particular sp. But if you took the time and effort to call her up expecting to be able to make an appointment, it means she has something you are looking for. You never know what you might be missing out on, for the sake of an illusion of privacy, when the reality is as professionals, sps get this info all the time and don't misuse it.

No Response - what to make of it?
fortunateone replied to calee3470's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Massage
Why would anyone assume that the message is anything but current lol. My message always says I am IN. Well, the main point is to never simply use the method that you want to use, only use the method the sp clearly states she wants used. -
I was wondering if the poster feels an absence of this style of photo means that anyone who isn't interested in graphic and trashy photos may not still be adventurous. I think imo, there is a chance that the advertiser with this kind of cheap shot photo is more likely to be a less than memorable experience. On the topic of website or not, I think to stick with the orginal post, it isn't really so much a case of is it a good advertising tool or not. That wasn't really her point. I also found Amelia's statement that prostitution is illegal is very disturbing, if that was her intent. After all the media attention in the past year, why do we still see this belief? Especially with anyone working or seeking services?? Its quite disturbing the lack of curiousity about this business one is working in, to not know these basic things. All sorts of advertising, including online websites I imagine, are legal. And have been legally ruled to be legal. All the advertiser must do is comply with the guidlelines of the advertising venue. One site may say you cannot post rates and descriptions for sexual services. Another one may be ok with it. Websites can include this info as well as additional pictures. I cannot see any way that this could be legally used against any sp. Unless strict adherance to any reference to incall on the site, and the charge specifically being about a bawdy house. But I don't see anyone specifically referring to that, unless I missed it. I might see the possiblity that LE might try to intimidate an sp into stop working altogether by making them think they are "onto" them. But the reality is that a LOT of manpower, investigation, and $$ have to go into even coming to the point of such charges. It means that the sp will have been under investigation for a long time, most likely several months. The majority if not all of the bawdy house charges laid out that I have seen concern multiple sps working from one location. Also, none of these had websites that I know of. All of them advertised on a variety of places. Some of them were in massage parlours that were operating without the appropriate license. My main point is that considering the manpower, time and money needed to investigate and then charge anyone with anything, they typically investigate bigger operations than a single sp working out of her apartment. Now, if you've chosen to share your space with 2 or more others, thus increasing the noise and traffic, and that location is also a house, then you will be a target. The presence or absence of a website will have nothing to do with any charges laid out. They really don't need a website to pile up any proof of anything. Any advertisement will do that, if they plan to use it as evidence, which I doubt. If they use it to find people to investigate, I hardly think they need to look at a website for more proof. Also, its just a website. If you are a working sp, you obviously advertise. Not having a website doesn't mean there isn't enough out there that is providing the exact same information is there?

The Rep System Ã?Ã?Ã? Arggh!
fortunateone replied to whatsup's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Does anyone know a way to see older ones, beyond the last 5? I may sound braggy, but there are times when 5 give me points for one or two posts, and if there were more I don't know how to know about them. I say "braggy" but it really is only because I don't check there every day or anything, just now and then. I see the past 5 but if all the dates are new since the last time I looked I worry I might not have noticed someone's comment. I always appreciate all nice comments of course, so not seeing them is a shame. -
How do You Choose an SP?
fortunateone replied to Victoria Banks's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I often see first timers. One thing I advertise as a good choice for them, plus I have a range of services/times/rates options (and safe level services) so they can be more at ease choosing say massage/hj before arrival and not worry they have to do more than that. In any case, the advice I give all the newcomers is to create a list of 10 things that are important to them, and when they find someone who is a 5/10 or less, don't go back, but if 7/10 (don't expect more, it might happen but 7 is solid), then go back to that one because repetition will only make the sessions better. 10 things will include: looks/age/body type, personality, rates, services, location (this is actually a bigger deal than some might think), schedule (availability has to coincide with his), booking process (some guys only want email, others can only book last minute by phone, so if the lady does what you need, that is a plus) incall/outcall (also, the overall impression of the incall - clean, tidy, messy, dirty, etc. Its a factor, but one that given other features maybe a messy incall would be acceptable to some guys, where others would freak out) agency/independent etc The main thing are these 10 things are what is important to that particular client. As he is looking for a new encounter (if he is not just returning to me lol), then he knows what to look for rather than just maybe seeing the first person with a nice pic, or the first person to answer the phone. -
Just a thought Andy, are they both 10000% certain that neither one, when they first met and got together, did not already have this? Either one of them might have carried it for years (don't know the ages), but a lot of std transmission and infection is in the younger age groups of 15-24. 15-18, well that is not an age group that visits std clincs or is assumed to be sexually active and getting full testing. If they had the std, they would be without symptoms for years, but still able to transmit. So unless your female friend and her SO got full testing, of all possible stds not just HIV, before they interacted unprotected, I'm afraid there is no reason whatsoever to blame the professionals who provided protected encounters without proving also that whoever he saw transmitted it to him in the first place. And if they did, and it was recent, why would he not be getting tested on a regular basis if he is seeing sps at all?

Movies you want to see remade
fortunateone replied to April Dawn's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Philidelphia Story really needs to be re=done before George Clooney is too old for the Cary Grant part, and I'd say before Matthew Perry is too old for the James Stewart part. Maybe someone else in the JS part would be OK, but the role is made for George C for sure. Katherine Hepburn i've never really thought of anyone specific who could be her part. I was not sure of the point of remaking Footloose out this year, as is Fright Night. Fright NIght with Colin Farrel, of all things. The kid next door probably should have been someone else, like Cera or Shia lol. -

As long as you recognize that the sp even with available hours isn't necessarily available to answer a phone call at the exact moment you call. But neither is she then available to answer text or email, so keep in mind any reply is just as easy to arrange. You simply leave a message. Or call back. When I am busy, I don't answer (obviously busy), but my voicemail message gives the caller two options: leave a message or call back, and I give an idea of how long they should wait. Like most estimates, you can only estimate so for the best result if the 2nd call finds me still busy, make a 3rd one. I can't tell you the number of times I've left a call back in 5minute message (while taking out garbage, getting the laundry, picking up the mail), and the caller does not call back and does not leave a message for a call back. Now that's puzzling, cuz if they wanted to talk to me at 11:00, why don't they still want to speak to me at 11:05? It's puzzling, really, cuz I'm here, like my message says lol. Also, I am not calling back 3 hours later for messages left, anyway. -

To be fair, jason listed a number of reasons for preference for phone calls beyond just having the #. All of his reasons are completely valid, and for those of us who insist on phone calls, the reasons given are the reasons why. Also, imo, if someone persists in using a contact method that is specifically stated to not do (in the ad), that is another screening method lol. Anyone who uses the phone constantly knows when someone is drunk. The only person the drunk is fooling is himself. Same with really rude guys. Texts in general come off rudely, so there is no way to compare. But on the phone, rude is rude is rude. If you are texting someone, you are asking them to reveal in print information on your phone which anyone could read. If you phone them, only you can hear what they are saying, with no record. In any case, you really shouldn't be contacting them by phone or text when you are around other people, should you? Anyone could read upside down, over your shoulder, or grab your phone in jest. Again, for security and discretion, a phone call only sp is making a choice to not expose herself this way. Sobriety, sincerity and seriousness, these are things that will only be conveyed when someone talks to me on the phone. With texting short cuts, a texter could be a fall down drunk, no one could tell the difference. Plus the grammar and spelling alone irritates me big time. Plus, I don't have text messaging, so the things come in as voice message, which is doubly annoying. For emails, well I've lost access to an email account, as has a friend. Took him months to figure out how to get access back again, I went thru several emails and reports and so on. Email accounts get hacked, used for spam, etc, and the host shuts them down. Then you go in and you can't send anything or you can't get in at all. Really annoying, but it happens all the time. Texts and emails get lost or redirected or time delayed all the time. They might be sent directly to junk mail. The person may have accidentally set their junk mail filter to delete immediately (ok, I fixed that but I did have that happen, and couldn't figure out why I got no more junk lol). Technology is also not time saving, its time consuming. If I allowed people to book or contact me by email, I'd be sitting at the computer all day every day. I don't have time for that, to make it efficient. The phone rings, answered, questions answered, appt set up or not, we both are done and on our way in 5 minutes. Nothing else really compares. -
Guide to oral sex for men
fortunateone replied to NotchJohnson's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
#5 is a REALLY good tip. I do not understand the desire to mimic a penis with the tongue. It can't, and usually the side effect of that manouever, is bam bam bam teeth teeth teeth jab jab jab. Teeth digging into soft flesh is not really arousing. #6 is a really good tip. One reason to not do this is typically it is done way too much, almost tearing the skin. And my take is that a clitoris that is that covered wants to stay that covered, and not exposed at all. #8, proceed with care on that move. If you did that to some women, you'd get kneed in the eye. There really is nothing worse than the sensation of fingernails scraping and scratching internally. -
I don't see the point. Sps post ads, join online forums sometimes, have websites, etc etc. All of this is in order to provide clients with enough information to make a decision for themselves. Among other drawbacks to the idea, is simply that the clear majority of sps are not going to see the Wanted ad. That's it and that's all. They don't go online, they aren't reading other ads, they don't participate on forums, they don't posts or comments and some don't even read messages and emails, or even see comments in their ads or about them. You are really limiting your selection if you think that posting a Want ad is going to get you options and offers. Plus, there is a certain scent of desperation on the sps who post their eligibility in the ad, or even by pm. There would be a slight hint that whatever they may give as the rate and service would be open to negotiation simply by the implication of them replying in the first place.

She flirts two guys.. what ot think?
fortunateone replied to pandacrazy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
You've only known her for two weeks. It is far too soon for you to be that fully invested in her and your romantic relationship. If she doesn't know who she likes best yet, let her find out. There is nothing yet for you to be concerned about because you should not yet be fallen in love with her. You don't even really know her, she hasn't made any promises to you. She doesn't know him either, but is still willing to be open enough to find out. You too need to be open enough to find out. Chances are in 3 weeks you'll have lost interest in her anyway. -
I think its because not all risks are std risks, and the outcome of digits are far more likely to end in a problem than thru daty, which is at the end of the day, a low risk activity for stds. It is similar in fact to the risk of stds via kissing. A possibility, but not a very likely one. It is nothing like the risk to an sp with a bbbj, which includes the fluids and skin contact right into the mouth. Fluids outside the body have less viability, you see, so the transmission rates and risks are much lower.

I have an ad on a site that I can no longer get to edit, but its such a nice profile and ad spot (not local to me, fwiw), that since my options are leave it or delete it, I'll just leave it. So on that site I will never age lol.

Yes, hands/fingers are not the same shape as a penis. Think for a moment, your hands cannot be replacements for one at all. Fingers and hands are hard and boney, knobby and knuckled, and come with sharp points at the end. Remember the joke: Don't point that at me, it's got a nail in it. Remember that every time you want to point that or insert that into something. If you run the fingernails on the roof of your mouth, which feels good? Soft and gentle, or hard and jabbing? Imagine, if someone else was doing it to you? How good would hard and jabbing sound then? Sps may enjoy digits, but won't offer it in sessions for all of the examples and reasons given above. It can be dangerous. It can lead to infections, like BV or yeast infections. It can cause tearing and damage. I can't imagine too many sps (or any woman) who is going to look forward to a new encounter knowing they may be facing this service, and may be facing anything from mild discomfort to extreme pain. And then there are many women who simply don't offer a service they don't enjoy, that does nothing for them, and has little or no effect on their pleasure factor. Oh, but for the OP, really daty and digits are completely different things. It really is hard to cause problems or pain with daty, and really easy to do that with digits. It wouldn't be a hard choice to eliminate digits, all things considered. If a client is wanting to do it because they want to enhance the sps pleasure in session, then perhaps they might want to rethink that idea lol. If they still find it a deal breaker, then back off the thrusters and wear gloves or ask for a condom for the fingers. I think you'd find that a lot of sps would relax about it, and possibly find some way to enjoy the sensation once they know they won't be hurt or harmed in the process.

Also thanks for the post about the laws already on the books, WIT. Tonight on the news, I saw a story about a woman in Vancouver (not a Canadian citizen), who was arrested and charged with trafficking and more. She had lured an African woman here with a promise of a job at a salon, put her into her house and made her work as an unpaid servant for about a year. http://www.vancouversun.com/West+Vancouver+woman+charged+with+human+trafficking/4793347/story.html So basically if anyone is trafficked here (which only means assisted to travel here), regardless of what kind of work they are forced to do, there are laws that already address that. Human trafficking and human smuggling. The article mentions this is only the SECOND time the charge of human trafficking has been approved in BC. Countless illegal brothels have been shut down over the years in BC, yet none of the people running them have faced this charge. It kind of makes you wonder, if this business is so fraught with human trafficking, smuggling and sex slavery, why the hesitation to lay the charges? Prostitution is legal, so the work is legal, just as housecleaning is legal work. It doesn't matter what the work is, if someone is brought here then put to work against their will, or their wishes, there is a law to deal with the person forcing them. Additional Comments: On a side note, Tania/Vixen Nina was running an operation at least thru the summer of 2009. By January of 2011, there was an article about her in a local paper regarding the book. It's quite a quick turnaround from pimping out twin midget sps who've never worked before to finding God and writing a book. A lot of stuff came up about her thru discussion of this article and the book and so on, especially the fantastic statistics that are included in the book as "facts".
-
It may be worth noting that Tania wrote a book, and no doubt would like sell more copies. Also she ran illegal brothels, illegal agencies, out of apartment/condos, and probably found herself afoul of the law. She also gained a reputation on review boards for getting banned (self promotions/shilling/fake reviews/multiple handles), then creating new handles over and over to do it again. She spent a great deal of money on photos, advertising, location, etc, then in recruiting workers. I have a hard time seeing her as someone totally focused on paying legal fees in custody cases, if she was spending that much on self promotion, that could have been spent elsewhere. She also used face pics, not exactly the M.O. of someone who is desperately seeking custody, imo, as that sort of sp would be far less likely to expose herself that way. She also was revealed to posting w4w ads on casual encounters CL to seek out women that she would then talk into the business. She also managed to hire a 16 or 17 year old girl in her micros. I mean, as a predator and manipulator, she's quite infamous. At the end of the day, I think her role as former sex worker/abolitionist is another master plan of manipulation to take advantage of yet another group of people.

Counterfeit Money
fortunateone replied to Emma Alexandra's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
If you don't have a pen, you do a scratch test and view test for bills. Then you hold them up to the light. You can see ghosted images in real bills, and real bill can be scratched, you feel the raised ink. I have seen fake 20s (and for a while, it was a lot of 5 dollar bills running around, so its not always larger bills). These 20s were found out thru the scratch test when someone tried to use them. I have encountered a fake older style 100. The bill was actually smaller, if you had it next to real ones. The same quick check applies to US bills as well. This is another good reason for sps to be paid up front and to always check the payment. In this case, I think providing verification to the client, considering he was a regular, would have been better than confronting with an accusation based on the bank tellers response. For one thing, the bills are going to be checked but the teller couldn't say for sure they were fake or not fake. Letting the client know they were taken to be checked is different from saying he owes you money, and he needs to make it good now. If he was innocent of wrongdoing, he would be offended and suspicious, and unlikely to cooperate. If he isn't, the same outcome really. His attitude in response, its hard to say is he just offended or did it knowingly. His response that he got it from the ATM tho, not true. He might have gotten it from a bank or maybe a money exchange place tho. I can say the story here and my own experience would refute qwerty's claim that banks take the bills and pass them back. Banks confiscate the bills and report them to the police, I've never seen or heard of them doing anything else. -

MP Bids to Make Buying Sex Illegal in Canada
fortunateone replied to a topic in Legal discussion, cases & questions
SA, I must say I am happy to see a change in your posts, lol. It seems like only a short time ago you had to be convinced and shown that prostitution is legal, and that when you have ladies come to visit you, you can not only give them money you can give them money for sexual services. We've come a long way indeed if you are now of the opinion that you do not want this legal activity to become illegal thru a private members bill lol. This tells me that you do understand that the money is not a gift, and that the lady is there indeed for sexual services and that you are indeed paying her for these services, and that sexual services are prostitution, and that not all sexual services mean "sex". You can be part of the solution by voicing your opinions to the powers that be, voting appropriately on polls and public opinion shows, and so on.
