Common courtesy should be practiced at all times, but it is one practice that seems to be falling by the wayside for life in general. If everyone practiced a little common courtesy on a consistent basis, life on the whole would be a lot better, and it certainly applies to the relationship between a SP and a client. I have to book my encounters in advance due to travel and schedule, so after I set my schedule, I like to contact the lady by phone or msn a couple of days prior to our meeting just to ensure we are still both on the same page. This also enables us to establish a rapport which certainly makes things a little easier when we finally meet, and depending on how our prior conversations went, we have some useful information when can use when we get together such as choice of wine, flowers, chocolate, type of lingere or whatever comes up in our little talks. I try to make sure I am not a nuisance, but if we hit it off on the phone, and make a connection....then when we get together it just seems to be a little more intense and enjoyable for both of us. If we happen to get a little playful on the phone and share what we like or dislike, it makes things a little easier when the clothing flys off.

Not sure about most of the Ottawa ladies, but if you wait until Emma A returns to Ottawa, you can't go wrong.

References are not a problem as long as the other ladies don't mind...hopefully they all have each other's backs on a safety issue like this.

Timing is the issue for me, being that I live 500 miles from the closest available service provider. Whenever I get an opportunity to visit the city (which is surprisingly often), I book well in advance to ensure that my favorite ladies are available...these seems to work out pretty well for me. Some questions I have asked or would like to ask include; (This question asked without judgement..just curious) Why the escort industry? Pure enjoyment?(just love sex) Financial? Own boss? Freedom? One I have never asked because it is none of my business, but I have discussed it with a few SP's when the topic somehow was brought up. Do you have a financial plan and how are you saving for the future? To me it would be pretty easy to get caught up in the lifestyle and spending money would be very easy, especially if a person always seemed to have amounts of cash on hand. Some ladies have a five year plan and a goal to achieve, when they achieve that goal, they can decide if they want to continue what they are doing or if it is time to move on. Do you have any regrets? This is a question that could apply to anybody in any given job. There is a low % of people who actually enjoy going to work each day. I admire the people who can honestly say they truly enjoy their work....many of the ladies I have met truly love the lifestyle they are living and I think that is great. I would like to see the SP's explain why they have chosen this profession (and god bless them all for their choices), what kind of plan (career and financial) they have for the future and just how much they enjoy what they do. People have to lose the misconception that all these ladies are forced one way or another into being an escort. People need to see a positive spin on escorting and what a valuable service it provides, and that most of the people involved...escorts and clients and good decent people. Viewers need to see that there is more than just a dark side to this industry, because we all know that there is a definate dark side to this world, but luckily there is also a very bright side.

I agree with many of these comments posted on here, although Winnipeg has a reputation of being the "wholesale" capital of Canada, this should not apply to the SP's who ply their trade here. If you cannot afford the hobby then find a new one, or set your sights a little lower....there are different levels of pricing that go along with different ladies...find the one that suits your budget. Have a little bit of pride and pay for the service provided at the stated price...when you try to "negotiate" all you do is cause bad feelings and do you think you are going to get the best service then? I'm probably thinking...not. Just some food for thought.

To echo Quicknick, make sure she sticks to her rates...she will find plenty of men looking for the quality experience she has to offer...these other men tend to give hobbyist's a bad name, but reassure her that there are a lot of decent guys out there. She will soon develop that 6th sense that seperated the losers from the winners.

Great project Mandalay...I wish you sweet success in this venture, but knowing you as well as I do, this will be a first class documentary, done from the proper prospective with all of your special abilities and wealth of experience combining to make it a huge success. You will have no trouble recruiting quality ladies to aid you in getting the story out of how this industry is viewed and lived by a great number of people. It should cast this business in an altogether different light and dispell some of the negative notions people have about this industry as a whole. Good luck kid.

Peachy you said exactly what I was trying to convey, but I made a rather poor attempt at it. You hit the nail on the head...and that connection is what makes it a special thing no matter how often you see each other. Someday I would love to meet you and see if that connection in there...I'm willing to bet it is!

My definition of a regular may be different than most due to the great distance I live from a "SP Zone". I visit Winnipeg on a average of once a month, sometimes twice and I like to see the same ladies if I am fortunate to find a couple of favs out there. I define those as regulars..but then of course in my quest to keep a reasonable list of favs, I have to check out other ladies to see if they may fall into that category or take the opportunity to spend time with one of the traveling ladies if our schedules mesh. Sometimes it gets a little hectic cramming in a months worth of hobbying into a weekend, but damn it is fun.

Gifts are a rather difficult thing figure out until you get to know the lady...usually for the first time with a SP, I will just pad the envelope for an exceptional time, then they are free to treat themselves to something they really like. I tend to lean towards a few favorite ladies, so as I get to know them better, it gets easier to buy them little gifts that carry some meaning. One other fun way is just to go shopping, be it in a sex shop or just a normal store and let them pick out things they would like. I have always had good luck with flowers and sometimes they have been used in our little games....ahh, a fond memory. It is a great experience just to go and meet these ladies on a completely different level..it certainly turns up the heat during the intimate moments. I also have given special coins as gifts, keychains and other small stuff that carried some special meaning.
