I use CL to advertise and even so I fully support the removal of the erotic section because it really is a free for all for scammers, pimps and other opportunists. I remember 4 years ago when there were may 10 ads in Ottawa. Now there are literally hundreds a day and I would say at least two-thirds of them are questionable. No wonder would-be clients are so confused. The best compromise would be to start charging for the ads like the did for the adult section in the States before that got shut down. But I believe at this point, even CL themselves would probably not want the headaches. I truly believe this may be the best thing - to shut it down!

Considering the OP is a service provider, not a hobbyiest, I agree with what Annessa is saying.

I put off doing laundry because I want to make efficient use of the washer and dryer by having full loads. Often I end up scrambling around for something clean to wear because I haven't gotten around to walking the two floors down to my basement to do a load. I tend to take a new glass every time I have something to drink and then end up with no clean glasses. I make a mental note to try and use the same glass over again, but often never do it. I make myself to do lists or reminders and then lose the lists and then say to myself I should really use the memo feature on my phone which I don't end up doing.

Don't mean to quash your thread, but hobbyiests are not permitted to post ads or rate information for SPs. I'm sure the MOD will clarify this for you.

When you post, you'll see that you are unable to post one word comments like "wow" anyways. I believe what the Mod was getting at was people responding to threads by posting a few words just for the sake of getting their post count up and not contributing anything worthwhile to the topic at hand. I don't believe he was banning the use of the word "wow", per se, just not using that a response with no further elaboration.

I agree with you, Nicki, but maybe she's not double-booking. Maybe there are other mitigating factors. Maybe she's just terrible with time management, or maybe she is involved in a lifestyle where time slips away from you because you're either too wrecked or paranoid to keep the appointment - okay I'm going out on a limb here - but I've seen it even with so-called "elite" Sps who advertise here on CERB. Hate to sound negative, but it does happen. There can be maybe many explanations. Who's to know? The bottom line is, as you say, totally unprofessional and basically unacceptable. We often hear complaints about clients no-showing, but when an Sp does it (consistently), to me there's no excuse. And that makes it look bad for the rest of us, which I personally resent! Happy Jay: I would say, you deserve better and look elsewhere for a lady who will value you as much as you hopefully will value her. It comes down to good business practice and good manners! Yozza, I did post something previously, but am now revising. My original post to you was to suggest that you perhaps you consider a lady on CERB with a reco for your first experience if you did not receive any feedback on the lady in question. I want to be clear that I do not have a prejudice against anyone advertising on CL (because I do myself). It has come to my attention thatt Corryna is a cerb member - with or without a reco - you are certainly entitled to enquire. Welcome to CERB and I hope your experience with Corryna or whichever lady you choose is positive.

Not sure why you would think an agency would be quicker - in fact they usually ask for a minimum 1 hour notice especially for outcall. For agencies, who offer in-calls, I wouldn't be able to comment on that. I know many independents with in-calls who can accommodate with 30 minutes notice if they're not already booked. Anything less than that is not realistic in my opinion, unless they are sitting there all dolled up already, which I believe would be highly unlikely.
