Which is why I always give a newbie the benefit of the doubt. I try to be patient and polite, but usually I can tell by their response whether they are in fact just being cautious or don't know the etiquette or they are in fact some punk or some guy who thinks he's God's gift to women.

I don't necessarily agree that clients asking for half hours is more demanding. In fact, most of my daytime clients are half hour appointments and the majority of them sweethearts. Since my post got deleted, what I said, was in the past when I have offered specials and lowered my rate by say, $20, I find then, that a different type of client emerges - the type who wants more for the lowered price or or a longer session for that price, thus making him someone I do not want to see. As for getting back to this thread, I don't know how touring ladies' rates and local ladies' rates got mixed into the same discussion. What does one have to do with the other? I think it's been pretty well ascertained that gents are going to see who they want and not just limited by the rates being charged.

Good luck, Emma! I am not a smoker myself, but I have some friends who have tried unsuccesfully many times to quit. The ones who were successful found champix worked for them. You might want to look into it. Like any "drug" it has posted side effects, but if you can tolerate it, would be well worth it, if it helps you quit smoking, which would be worse for you in the long run. If you need to growl, you know where to come to let off steam!

I think it's very important that you absolutely clear about what exactly you expect the ladies to provide in terms of entertainment. And remember, some ladies are not comfortable going where there is a crowd of men. So you must be very specific about exactly how many men are going to be there and if there extra "expectations", you need to find out how much she is charging to "show up" and then how much those extras are going to cost. It's probably best to find someone who has friends she is comfortable working with. I have heard of stories where a girl has gone to a party and there are other girls and those girls have different "working" style and it has turned out disasterous. Just be very clear about what you services you expect and what you can pay, and everything should be fine.

They get away with it mostly by making the client feel so uncomfortable that they bully him into it or in the case of an out-call, they just get up, get dressed and call for their driver. It disgusts me when I hear stories like these. I hate to sound harsh, but some SPs need to get straight on what "goods" they're selling - time or acts? Getting back to the thread, I am not offended if a gent has to leave early for some reason. If I know I have provided good service and he has paid me my fee, I don't take him having to leave early as a reflection on me (that I did something wrong or didn't do something right). I find over the lunch window of 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 P.M. that most (not all) clients do not stay the full time. Since many of them are regulars, I know it's their choice to "eat and run" so to speak.

A friend of mine who worked for a shuttle bus company ferrying airline crew back and forth from the airport to hotels told me the only FA's who ever put the moves on him were male ones! He said in his experience, most of the time the crew would appear dog tired, so where would there be time or energy for play when you land, have to go to your hotel to retire and then be back up again the next day. Like Lou, I agree. I think more of it is a myth than reality. :sm185:
