Wow...when I was I kid, my siblings and I went to schools on military bases run by DND and we never had to supply anything - not even a pencil, but we're taking the 60s and 70s. We also lived in isolated communities where the Eaton's catalogue was often the only way to shop. I guess you could take the clothes on your back, off, n'est-ce-pas, if you had to get straight to work. All joking aside, this has happened a few times to a friend of mine, who opts like Nicki to have his toiletries (not sure about a razor??) and a change of clothes in his carry on in the event something like this happens again. So perhaps some lingerie and sex toys in your carry on would be interesting viewing for those guys who scan the luggage when it goes through that x-ray thing.

Please help me understand why you choose not to discuss the donation. Sorry, but I don't "get it" and I am sure there would-be-clients who don't either who you may be missing out on because what if they do show up with what they think is a reasonable amount and your rate is higher than they can afford. I see that as counter-productive I'm just trying to get my head around your logic, not give you a hard time. As has been discussed, it is not illegal to discuss rates unless it's done in a public place. Also, having been in this business for 15 years, I can assure you that a higher priced Sp is not necessarily a better Sp. I don't know what you charge, but I can assure you that whatever it is, there are probably SPs who charge lower rates than you and me (because I know some) and they are very good SPs but they are comfortable with their rates even though they realize they could probably charge more. I am just saying the statement you made could come back to haunt you. That's all.

I too get tired of time wasters, but I give everyone a chance to "clarify" what my services or rates are. I do expect them to have done some research and read my ads and/or web-site, but I for one, make sure they understand everything they are signing up for, so to speak before they come to see me. I see no reason to blow a guy off or be rude who is trying to find out information to book an appointment if his questions are legitimate and not worded rudely, condescending or explicitly offensive. I am in the business of providing a service, and if I can't take 5 minutes to try and close the deal, then WTF am I doing this for. I don't have the luxury of the phone ringing off the hook and being able to turn clients away. Not everyone communicates the same and I would rather be clear about what I offer and what the rate is, even at the risk of repeating what is listed in my website. I rarely get regret the clients who do end up seeing me and some of them did not start off communicating the best, some times. I don't really understand what you mean by "shy" anyways. If someone is shy, then they should tell me that they are shy and I will reassure them I don't bite But I don't want it to take 10 e-mails back and forth for them to get "comfortable". If you're brave enough to do that, then you're brave enough to meet me in person and go for it! My advice, do your research, be sure you want to see that lady before asking a lot of questions and tell her where you're coming from in terms of anything she should know to make the appointment more comfortable for you. If she's any kind of a "professional" she will give you the leeway to get comfortable. I am so sick of hearing about guys who waste SPs times and SPs who are rude without good reason to would-be clients. I would say some people really need to adjust their attitudes (on both sides).

For what it's worth, a friend of mine went to Vegas last winter and turned away 3 different escorts who all tried to bait/switch him with pics and price. He was threatened too when he didn't cough up a cancellation fee for any of them. He said he showed one of them a pic and said, there is no way that is you. You don't even have the same bone structure. To which she said argued it was her. Then another one was at least 3 inches shorter and 2 cup sizes smaller and couldn't really argue but did say, "it's not my fault what pics the agency post", to which he said, "well you should make it your business to know..now get the "F,,, out". Can't remember what was wrong with the 3rd one. He may have come off as sounding abrasive, but he doesn't mince words when he gets upset. Quoted rates at $300 and then told $400 to $700 at the door. He said he after 3 misses, he realized he wasn't going to get anywhere so he continued to gamble and was actually propositioned by one "working" the casino. He said she was pretty discrete about it, and nice looking, so he took his chances. But not something I'd recommend. I'm sure casino security would shut that kind of thing down right away - unless some girls pay them off as long as they're discrete. I don't really know but I smell "undercover" all over that.

I figure they want attention or they're just to lazy to look, so by asking and you responding, they get to feel special. Even though they may not even end up booking, they got you to expend your time and energy on them. I don't get it either.

I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing and like most, believed the first plane to be an accident.
