  1. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd sure like to hear more about number 3., above!
  2. You really know how to "slide" in there when the opportunity arises. .............. Back to the thread. As for Toyota... An ex-boyfriend of mine had an old Toyota pick-up truck that eventually started to rust. We figured out what he used to do the repairs to the floor, when my mother couldn't find any of her aluminium cookie sheets anymore. Additional Comments: OMG -I had a 1977 Datsun B-210 - forgot about that. It was a three speed - my first standard. I had it when I lived in Los Angeles back in the early 80s. It didn't have air conditioning and it rode really rough, but I thought it looked kinda cool. The clutch went on it once when I was way out visiting someone south of LA. Luckily I broke down across the street from a garage and the mechanic came over and got it over the place. It was late, they were closing up for the day. I was 2 hours from where I lived. Long story short, I ended up sleeping at the owner of the garage's house and the next day they got me on my way. His wife was actually pretty cool about letting me stay. Can't believe I took a chance that they weren't some kind of weirdos. Crazeee!
  3. Could somebody please tell me what JoeBlow's avatar is? I'm been trying to figure it out for months. Back to the thread....
  4. I met Stevie Ray Vaughn in person and have his autograph which I cherish. I was born in Montreal Quebec, but only lived there for a short time because my father was in the Air Force. Things I am Happy About: I got to see my mother in the hospital hours before she died. Travelling to Switzerland staying and visiting the Swiss Alps. Obtaining my green card and actually giving it a shot living in the States and realizing I am much happier living in Canada. That I was blessed with 3 beautiful and smart nieces who I love dearly. Regrets: Not getting to see Led Zeppelin before they disbanded. Not buying into Microsoft back in the early 80s when a friend of mine was convinced mainframes were on there way out and he was telling us we should take a chance and buy stock (he bought and I have no idea where he is now - probably has his own island in the Carribean) Not having children. Not looking under Old Dog's kilt when I had the chance. Oh wait, that wasn't a kilt, it was a plaid housecoat.
  5. Yeah, I know what you're saying. When the Hydundai Pony first came out in the 80s, they were dreadful. I knew two people who owned them and said they literally "fell apart. I think they've come a long way in the last 25 years!
  6. Well, you looked pretty hot in that dress that night and I bet even better out of it. Woo hoo!!
  7. Ford Escort. Was always holding it together and keeping it going with gum and thread.
  8. As usual WIT, you summed it up perfectly! That's what I meant, but I didn't have those numbers at my fingertips!
  9. From what I remember when I worked at the House of Commons, we (Canada) is always giving aid to some country in the world and not just during times of natural disasters. Not to say Haiti was any more deserving of Pakistan, but Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, so the earthquake there added to the burden of country in crisis already. So many causes...not so much money to go around.
  10. Yes, Dorinda, it was Fort Mac, Grande Prairie, Fort St. John, Peace River, Dawson Creek and Prince George where I experienced all of those problems. If you weren`t willing to work late, you couldn`t work for the agency as day calls weren`t common. I guess not much has changed in Fort Mac since then... Thank goodness for Ottawa, where were not bound by those restrictions of having to see guys only at night. Seeing a continual stream of men under the influence wears a girl down pretty quick.
  11. Thanks for sharing that. I have seen it before, but it was a nice reminder. Again animals showing up humans!
  12. I found this way back in the day when it was all out-calls, and worked late. You know the old saying, "They only come out at night". Now that I work mostly days and I can pick who I choose to see, I would save not very often.
  13. Yes, and now people call landlines, LAN lines. LAN stands for local area network (remember those people!). I remember when you could call back a payphone. A friend of mine use to use one at the corner of Dundas and Yonge Street to keep in touch with her boyfriend while she was at Ryerson. Ah, the good 'ol days....
  14. Happy birthday. Enjoy it, because it flys by fast. I was 26 in 1986 - just seemed like yesterday I was at that Van Halen concert. Enjoy!
  15. I'd be up for that - I always wanted to go to Scotland, England and Wales and of course Ireland. And then New Zealand...baaaaah!

  17. There was one another with Harper's picture on it that didn't work either, but their investigation is still underway, and expected to go way over budget.
  18. I take it, you don't do in-calls? Reading the aforementioned made me exhausted! I would say what you described is the worse case scenario - the SP cancelling after you paid for the room. Now that would be a bummer. No wonder you prefer MPs.
  19. Nala, after meeting you briefing at Luxie's, I must say your pictures do not do you justice. Guys, this lady is amazingly fit and sensuous and from what I hear, a real sweetheart. Back to the thread: Non-interactive Duos with: Chanel Reign, Nicolette Vaughn and Annessa Interactive Duos with: Erin, Fine Wine Diva
  20. Don't forget the signed autograph of Liberace you had framed which hangs in the bathroom over the throne!
  21. Sounds like you guys had a blast! Hot waiters...hmmmm.....
  22. Andee

Not a problem. I can trample you anytime!
  23. Red Tape Holds Up New Bridges You mean there's something stronger than duct tape? I think it may well be red duct tape.
  24. I imagine something more like this...there is flour...and icing....
