  1. Congratulations, Kenny for your fine contributions on CERB and hard work, lassoing in all the scammers and fakes on your diary. Happy trails ahead....
  2. Great idea! I recently received a muffin with a birthday candle on top and the client sang me happy birthday. It was very uplifting. As for cupcakes, remember to add frosting and sprinkles on top!
  3. Simple. I am not giving my address out or allowing anyone into my place unless I have a number for them. Period. I occasionally will answer them and may give some quick information, but tell them in order to continue this call or to book, they need to call back from an unblocked number. Most of the time they don't, but occasionally the odd one does. But when I'm busy, I don't bother - too many wankers asking stupid questions and since I don't book from private, often there's no point because like I said they won't call back from unblocked. For those clients of mine who can't unblock their numbers, I encourage them to text if they can. But Sara, what you came up with is priceless!
  4. Wow, I have never gotten an e-mail from someone's SO, but I do remember a woman calling me, saying my number was on her phone (outgoing) and asked why her husband would be calling me. I said, I had no idea, it was probably a wrong number. I once had a guy call me and ask me if he could make an appt., but he wanted to make sure I didn't know one of his friends. He described the guy - I felt it was a wife getting some guy to call on her behalf to check up on her husband. I said, I was in the business of discretion and did not discuss my clients with anyone. He said, he couldn't take the chance - whatever that meant and hung up. Some people's stories make no sense!
  5. Frijid Pink doing "House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals. But we're going way back to 1971
  6. I would consider Escorts-Canada the grand-daddy of all legit sites in Canada. The MOD can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe is someone is posting fake pictures, pulling bait and switch, their ad will be pulled from E-C, just as it would on CERB and they would not be welcome back. So, you can't better than that!
  7. And because you love so many types of women, it keeps it interesting for all of us and sales up for Cool Whip!
  8. Annessa: Chanel is the "Facebook Queen" and mentioned something to me awhile back about there being higher level of privacy settings that are available that aren't obvious - or something like that. We have a mutual friend who was causing all sorts of problems with gossip and she sealed up her FB account tighter than a nun's... Anyways, pm her - she is always happy to help.
  9. I am attracted to ads that cover off all the basics and follow conventional elements of styles (they're called conventional for a reason, people - no one wants to READ ALL CAPS, have to wade through run on sentences and small type) I believe a well written ad should include: Who are you - reveals something about yourself Physical description Location Availability (Days and Hours) Important Links (Websites, Recos, Blogs, etc.) Preferred Method(s) to reach you (pm, e-mail, phone, etc.) Any caveats (e.g. no blocked numbers, etc., only here for a short time until August 6th) Other Useful Info: (e.g. available for duos with, etc.) Turn Offs: Too much wordiness - less is best Too many different font sizes and colours - tiresome to reader Negative style ads - bashing the competition Overly explicit language - cheapens the image Cliche language - ads that look like everybody elses Grammatical and spelling errors Turn Ons: Use of imagination, wit and creativity When someone tweaks or changes their ad to keep the reader wondering what is she going to come up with next - Tess' ads come to mind for example I don't always practice what I preach myself, but having been involved in marketing, desktop publishing and document creation for many years, so I tend to be overly picky than most. Ladies - please take a moment to really think about what your assets are and let the gents know - you are much more than a physical description and an address. Entice, but leave something to the imagination and they will be intrigued and curious and will call...
  10. I'm not from Halifax, but visited there when My sister was posted with the military. She always told me that anywhere near the bridges was bad - whatever that means.
  11. There's no argument that economics are a key factor. But we have to consider also which has been mentioned in previous threads. There are more so-called SPs offering services - everything from the SW with a cell advertising on CL to the Upscale courtesan and everything in between. There's an saying, do you want a Corvette or a Chevette? (If I was car, I'd like to be a Mustang...)
  12. I said it before and I will say it again, I cannot believe the evil-spiritness of some people. You are a good person and loyal friend and to be treated like this is a damn shame. We're talking about adults here behaving worse than kids. It's almost inconceivable really that people would do something like that.
  13. And don't you offer personal instruction as well, Chanel? Sometimes people learning by "doing" rather than watching.
  14. You have really "opened" yourself to some smart-arsed comments with that remark, Pete. But I'll bite my tongue.....:butt:
  15. Pete - as a young teenager, like some of my other girlfriends, I had such a big crush on Number 4, Bobby Orr. And I've always been a Habs Fan, so to have a crush on a BB player was like...sssssh...
  16. I find it odd to Pete - too bad we couldn't cash in those points like airmiles..... Additional Comments: Excuse me...and what do the ladies get? Maybe Emma is keep that information to herself!!!
  17. Tim Curry's 64? Oh wait a minute...I forgot I was 50...makes sense.
  18. Imagine the possibilities with that collar and leash....mmmmm...
  19. You're just eating all this up - admit it - YOU LOVE IT!!! Just don't let it go to your head(s).
  20. Sean Connery, Sam Elliott, Valerie Bertinelli, Goldie Hawn, Dennis Farina, Robert Patrick, Robert Plant. And Jeff Bridges...yum!
