Thanks for educating us about the complexities - would be great to have, but as the old song goes "you can't always get what you want". I will give the banner idea a thought - have never had any feedback about how effective they really are for generating more business. Anyone?

The 80s: I was buying boots at a custom leather store in Toronto at the same time the band Duran Duran were in shopping. I worked for a media consulting firm and got to meet such people as Tom Cochrane, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ronnie Hawkins, Helex, Lee Aaaron, Glass Tiger, Jane Siberry, etc. I "de-virginated" the head of a well known record label whose name I will not publish, but if you were to google his name, he's all over the Internet. I used to hang around the same crowd as Jeff Healey before he starred in Roadhouse and has career took off seeing how we were all into blues and going to open jam nights at Grossman's Tavern on Spadina Ave (near College Street in Toronto. While in Los Angeles, met Scott Columby who was in that movie "Porky's". Also met Erin Moran, who played Joanie Cunningham on Happy Days. A former boss was best friends with Allan Gregg when he was head of Decima Research in Toronto back and I used to run stuff over to his office - he was one of the original financial backers of The Tragically Hip, so I got to go to a lot of parties back then. In the past few years...just members of Parliament - big deal! No famous "clients" (that I know of) yet. A sister SP of mine who is Francophone had a famous American comedian visit her, but she never clued in as to who he was until she was flipping thru the late night talk shows and lo and behold, there is was trading cracks with Letterman. It's a small world - so make sure if you do anything indiscreet, you hide the evidence and if asked, DENY, DENY, DENY.

what not to ask an sp?

How many clients have you seen today? How many clients a week do you normally see? Have you ever had kids? Does your family know what you do? Now that I've told you my real name, what's yours? Did you really cum or did you fake it? I noticed you're friends with Carrie Moon's - are those breasts real? -
I had a regular client for a few years and over time he felt comfortable telling me certain personal details of his life (like his girls were in dance, and one of his son's was a deviant, where he lived in Hunt Club, where he worked). I knew his name, etc. I started a new government contract job, and lo and behold, the office manager is showing me my cubicle. I glance up and see this nameplate on the cubicle next to me. It was the same surname as my client (who has a unusual last name). I said, to myself, no, it can't be. Well, long story short, turns out, my cubicle neighbour was his wife! The evidence was all there including family pics. The next time he called me, I had to tell him I couldn't see him anymore - he was so shocked, he actually hung up on me. When he called me back, I assured him that his secret was safe. I felt so guilty everytime she would bring up tidbits over coffee with the girls, because I was thinking in my head "yeah, I know that already type of thing". Turns out one day he had to come by the office to pick up something. She had to run off to an unscheduled meeting and asked me to bring down the item to the commissionaires desk. So I had to say, What does he look like...(like I didn't know, right (even naked)). Well, you should have seen the look on his face, when he saw me get off the elevator, probably thinking she was right behind me. I had to say, "Oh, are you Mr. so and so" because I think he would have had a heart attack right there if I just walked up to him. I no longer work there, but sometimes wonder how he's doing.

Interesting characters around town

He was featured in the paper. He's on disability but panhandles to supplement his income. He often wears a big "Cat in the Hat" hat and always says, "how about a smile?" Drove me crazy when I worked at Queen and Bank. Here's a picture of Old Dog seen spotted leading a lynch mob on Parliament Hill. Additional Comments: Gives a whole new meaning to "working on the streets". -

Things that make us ladies LOVE our jobs!
Andee replied to Annessa's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
The fact that if I don't care for a client, I can choose not to ever see him again - not like my straight jobs where I often had no choice as to who I was able to work for or with. The fact that I can hang around Carrie's and catch up on my TV watching (or just have her do and tell me what I missed). The fact that I can bug Nicolette by imitating her cutesy voice and she doesn't get mad at me (well maybe sometimes she gives me that look). The fact that I can sleep in and start work whatever time I want to. The fact that I can make more in less than an hour than I would in an entire day of working a straight office job (providing I get at least one call a day). The fact that I have met so many more "real" people in this this supposedly Fantasy-selling business. The fact that I have somewhere to go when I can't seem to fall asleep at 5 in the morning- even if it's just going through the threads on CERB! The fact that I don't have to leave my house when it's minus 30 or or plus 30 if I don't want to. -
I would like them to be able to make noise so we could have one for climaxing and another for burping and another for farting (I know, I'm weird). Others would be: Smoking a cigar One wearing a Sombrero to indicate having a siesta (or would that not be politically correct) Orgy - 4 smilies going at it. One with a halo Okay, now that I've got the ball rolling, does anyone else have any ideas for some new smilies (not that we're going to get them, but hey doesn't hurt to put it out there).

No marbles, but some half-empty boxes of kleenex strewn about. Additional Comments: My mother was a stubborn Irish woman. I remember when she died, my father was trying to locate a box with photo albums so he could dig some pictures out of her, and he couldn't for the life of him find it, until he "got a feeling" to look in another part of the basement where stuff like tools and cleaning supplies were stored and lo an behold, the lost box of pictures. He always says to this day, "pray to mom". Which saddens me because he gave me her wedding band and it was big big for me and I lost it, presumably when we were sorting through clothes - I figured it slipped off in one of the many donation bags that went out the door to the Goodwill. That broke my heart.

I was picturing this whole thing as "reality show". Following Cato around with the camera...hmmm.

The no-show game has plagued us "forever" and even though common courtesy should prevail, it often doesn't. On the same note, I have had other SPs pull no-shows on me for duos, and these are supposedly reputable ladies - so it's not just clients who are doing this. I timed it - it takes less than 10 seconds to call and say, I can't make it. Plain and simple.

People - remember, we went through something similar a few months back regarding another girl making accusations against PK, which ended up with the thread being deleted and a member being supsended. Let's learn from past mistakes and leave this where it belongs - on CL, NOT CERB.
