  1. I've experienced both sides actually, but under completely different circumstances.
  2. I accept bookings by e-mail or pm, but the client HAS to call me from an unblocked number at least an hour before the appointment to confirm he is coming so I can direct him to the spot where he is to park. Then and only then do I reveal my street address. If he doesn't have a cell phone, I may make the exception of directing him to the nearest payphone, but he still has to call me from a number - any number so I can hear his voice before he sets out to let me know he's on his way. I would NEVER call a client's phone just for the hell of it or to solicit business like has been talked about in other threads on here. I never book or confirm appointments by email or pm without talking to the person first, unless I have already seen them. I also DO NOT ACCEPT BLOCKED NUMBERS
  3. The guy advertised for girls for the gang bang in one ad and then for male attendees in another ad promising free food, booze etc. The pictures he sent to my male friend were of very young, not so pretty girls, who sadly appear they are "on something". One picture was clearly a fake from a website. So, it's not like he already has an agency or girls readily available. I just think it's someone suffering from grandiosity who thinks he's going to score big and get a freebie for himself by getting other guys to pay. From what I understand, the police frequently view the ads on CL and I am sure they probably have someone who has been corresponding with him. They are probably getting just as much as a laugh out of this as we are. But, I do not believe it's a sting. He's just handing it to them all the information on a silver platter. Anybody who goes along with him deserves what they get.
  4. *82 does not work with every provider to unblock your number. For example, a friend of mine who has a blocked Fido Phone (which is Rogers) tried using *82 sitting right beside me and it didn't work.
  5. You got me. I was thinking to myself, that bastard, the least he could have done was try to find the owner instead of leaving the poor thing in the middle of the street.
  6. I haven't a clue what any of you are talking about but it sounds like you're all having fun swapping stories. I did see Night of the Living Dead ages ago. I'm talking about the original 1968 version, which by the way is available in its entirety on youtube: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2956447426428748010# And I agree that the Da Vinci Code would turn anyone into a Zombie, but I didn't last with that movie for 2 minutes, never mind 2 hours.
  7. Old Dog: you never cease to amaze me - you always come through!
  8. I'd need to see a picture - can't quite get a visual of what "shapely man legs" are.
  9. I doubt it's a sting. But all the cops have to do is plant a few e-mails themselves and they'll be all over it like a dirty rash. This Chris guy who's organizing doesn't sound very bright. I have seen a lot of dumb ads on CL over the years, but this one takes the cake. He did not ask my friend for a deposit, but said he had to reserve by Sunday night and would reveal the location and girls. Doesn't sound like he works at a hotel because he wasn't sure if he was going to host it downtown or in the south-end. I hope he isn't planning on the Southway Inn.
  10. One of my male friends e-mailed the guy just for a joke. As CK said, he sent out pics, and they were...atrocious. One was clearly a fake. Someone posted a couple of replies to his ad on CL, showing how the math doesn't add up. Looking at the minimum of 10 guys and 1 girl, at 15-20 minutes a piece, it would take 3 hours to for everyone to get off. So who decides who goes first - do they pull numbers out of a hat. What does the last guy do while his bros are doing their thing. It's obviously just some wannabe pimp thinking he's going to clean up. In his ads for girls, he promises $1,500 for 6 hours. In the ad for the guys, he promises free booze, food, etc. As pointed out in one of the retorts, 10 guys times $175 is $1,750. Minus the girls' share is $1,500. That leaves $250. for the room and all the trimmings? He told my friend he would like to have 30-60 guys and 5-8 girls. As pointed out above, what hotel would accommodate that? Also, how does he know who will actually show up. I thought it was a brilliant example of stuck on stupid!
  11. and those legs...frightening! Hey everybody, Old Dog used to be in a band with Pistol Pete. Guess which one he is.
  12. If, I didn't agree that you were classy, I might think the use of the F-words were trashy - but in the context in which you were expressing it, was probably fitting. To convey it that way on here obviously offended some people. I was more "surprised" that you would talk like that - but hey, it's like Old Dog said, what do we really think in our heads. I stand guilty as charged as well. But I have found even when you word things in the plainest forms, some will take offence. It's like you can't win. I believe every SP has felt what you expressed at one time or another. It goes with the territory and I believe you were letting off some steam.:ablow:
  13. I find there are more no-shows than in recent years, but my screening process deters them because I insist I have a call back number. I ask the client if he is going to be late or can't make it, to please call me. I add the caveat this is because for privacy issues, I really do not want to be calling or texting back their phone. Since I have been doing that, I have hardly any no shows. It's almost like I've planted the idea that if they don't show, I will call (after 10 minutes late). I never leave a nasty message or anything like that. If someone has a good reason, I will extend them a second chance (if I feel like), otherwise they're on my DNA do not answer) list.
  14. Well, Happy Birthday to you!! And to our beloved country!
  15. I wondered what you meant by "you guys", but you were referring to us ladies, weren't you? Lindsay said it best.
  16. You are right. I can refuse the client or services for whatever reason. Well, what if the reason is because I don't feel like it because it's raining and not sunny. If I stay the time, you won't mind me keeping the money? After all, according to you, it's what I deem suitable. You know what would happen if I did that? I would lose clients, get a bad rep and probably one day even get hurt. I agree with Carrie that you are mixing apples with oranges. The circumstances you refer to is not the norm. When guys pay us for "our time", sex is inferred. I think you should just call it what it is. The rest is all window dressing. We're all adults here. You are certainly entitled to your point of view, but I am wondering who you are trying to convince - us or yourself.
  17. Old Dog - you know me too well. Christina Hendricks would turn a straight woman gay. you beat me to it - yes Santa Clause was a redhead as a young man until he got is paws on Mrs. Clause. From what I heard, she was pretty hott in her day, too.
  18. People may not realize this, but Santa Clause was originally a redhead!!
  19. You're too quick on the draw woman. Look now. How about these?
