Even a quick note of adoration or acknowledgement on an SPs guestbook, to me is worth the same (if not more) than a reco.

There is so much I want to say...but bottom line in your case is...I would rather be delayed and arrive safely than the pilot and crew risk flying for the simple sake of trying to meet connections...because that may be one connection they'd never make. A simple, please and thank you seem to be foreign words these days - at least that's why I seem to find. I don't know if it's the techno age where people are strapped to cell phones, keyboards, whatever and are losing the personal communication and interaction, but I find more and more rudeness everywhere. Whatever happened to altruism and manners? Why does it have to take some high profile celebrity like Oprah Winfrey or Ellen to remind people to be kind to each other.

A friend of mine with CP was trying to navigate a sidewalk and missed the sloping down part and ended up falling face down on the pavement and broke both legs and his nose which were not "diagnosed" by 2 hospitals in Ottawa (it made the news). It was over a week later that his own family physician looked at xrays and spotted the breaks after he insisted a family member take him "again' because the pain was so unbearable. So, yes it can happen and can have devastating effects. I often joke about bumping into things, but when we get hurt, that's another matter.

I don't understand why ladies are getting their knickers so tied up in a knot about having recommendations written. We are not "on display" here, (or are we). As I mentioned in the BBW reco thread, some guys would like to but can't because they don't have enough posts and some...well...let's face it, may be shy, or downright lazy. I understand your frustration Sabrina, but I tend to agree with Ava on this one, I don't think it's going to get the guys writing more reviews. In fact it might have the opposite effect. I always shied away from reviews because of the other boards. I know on CERB, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. But my validation and best "review" comes from repeat clients. That's just me though - perhaps other girls see it differently - after all this is a recommendation board, so you might expect to see "recommendations", n'est-ce-pas? It's a tough subject to address without sounding negative or desperate.

Bell has much better privacy protection? Hah!! When I had my pay-as-you-go Bell phone, I went to the Bell store to buy a phone card. When they keyed in my phone number, they asked me if I lived at such and such address? They didn't ask me what my address was first, or for ID - they just blurted out an address. Which, by the way was like an address from 2002. The point is, I could have been anyone giving that number and someone could have gotten my address that way. Don't know if the rep slipped up, but when I read that in the article, I chuckled. Bell-Rogers-Telus - they're all the same!!

Cheek - you raised a good point, but I'm still dumbfounded that someone would solicit business by initiating a text to a client. I just don't know anyone like that. Who are these girls? (I don't mean give names, I just mean, like who do they think they are?)

I agree with Jason. If you go near the projects, you are taking a chance. I know an SP who was in the Carlington Heights area who had to move had because she found it more difficult to get good clients to come to her area after dark. She does not want to be associated with the majority of working girls who ply their trade on the surrounding streets, chat lines or whatever which is too bad because she is an excellent provider. I believe Heatherington was the area where "car dates" where being advertised a few months back which was another dangerous situation. The rule of thumb again is, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Anyone posting late at night who you've never seen or heard of before or many ads with same phone, is probably a scammer!

Do you mean the site or the people on there? Since CERB is a site where SPs advertise their services, I am puzzled and a bit offended that you are asking CERB members to direct you to adult dating sites where it's obvious you and/or your girlfriend are looking for something other than play for pay. I would follow the advice of the member who suggested you just buckle down and hire an SP. Believe me, it will be less headaches in the long run. If that's not what you're looking for, may I ask why you are asking this question on escort board. Is it just me or are there any other members out there who feel the same as me. If I'm wrong, I am sure the MOD will let me know. Good luck with your quest. If you look hard and long enough on CERB, you will find some very lovely ladies to choose from. But you will obviously have to pay.

As a lady who is "built for comfort" (not a BBW - only 40B cup), I fall into the bigger girl category, but I have never had anyone show up at the door and run away screaming!! I have had a couple of CERB members offer to write recommendations for me, but because they aren't "posters" per se, they would need to get their post count up in order to do a reco. They have told me use CERB mostly as a place to consult the SP ads. They may read a few post here and there, but their support for the site comes in the form of seeing ladies from CERB, not being visible to other members. I don't see anything wrong with this, but I understand CERB's policy of members having to have a minimum number of posts to prevent shilling. This could be part of the problem why there aren't more recos (in general, not just for BBWs). The problem I see is with members you know have seen other ladies of all shapes, sizes and ages, but he recos they write are for the slimmer, younger ones. I agree with where Emma is coming from - like what's up with that? Not that I kiss and tell, but one member asked me not to mention to a certain lady that he saw me because she might get jealous. I found that hilarious because the lady in question is a sweetheart, but she is the opposite body type from me - petite and slim. I said to myself, "what's the matter you don't want anyone to know you went to see the older bigger gal"? I can laugh at that because he sure liked my lip service and left with a big smile on his face. Another guy came to see me and said "I like bigger girls because you all know how to suck a good...." I didn't know whether to take that as a compliment or a insult. Either way, I have never seen a reco by this member for any of the ladies he has seen and I know of at least 3 who would be considered BBWs.

When you visit the Yukon next, maybe you can "bag a bear". When I lived on Vancouver Island as a kid, bears would routinely invade the garbage bins on the airforce station were posted to. When they became too much of a nuisance, they were hunted. I can still remember these awful images of bear carcasses hanging from these makeshift huts where they would skin them. I still shudder at the thought.
