  1. I have sent you a pm regarding this.
  2. I checked the site. It doesn't really say how to sign up or what the costs are. Did I miss something?
  3. Finally. Glad to see you're back in the saddle again!
  4. I would advise against that area. I don't know about these days, but when I used to live in that area few years back, it was a popular place for SW to take their Johns. Might prove embarassing if the LE spots you there. What about the "O" train. I hear no one takes it outside regular Carleton U. school hours anyways?
  5. This thread is just plain stupid, if you ask me. I worked with an Asian lady who didn't shave, but that is just one girl. I'm sure there are other Asians who do or do not shave. I also worked with a Jewish SP out west who did shave. But I also worked in an office with an Orthodox Jewish woman who work a head covering, ate only kosher food and observed her faith very strictly, the Sabbath, etc. very traditional. I bet she probably didn't shave, but she was also a married woman and I could tell you not the sort who would ever work as an escort. So I don't think you can generalize anything...I am trimmed, not shaved and I am of French Canadian/Irish decent. But I am also in my late 40s, am a heavier gal and just prefer it that way for myself.
  6. From the 80's, Crimes of Passion with Kathleen Turner. A little dark and twisted, but good. Description here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimes_of_Passion_%281984_film%29
  7. I always says, tipping is not expected, but appreciated. Like Cat suggested, I set a rate and rely on that, not tips. I also agree with her that Canadian men are not overly generous with tipping, but it may also be regional because I remember getting more tips when I worked in Northern Alberta in the mid-90s than I ever got in Toronto or Ottawa. I chuckle when I am asked to give "change back" (I'm talking $10 sometimes). I have also been paid in "rolled change" in which case I ended up getting a $20 tip for my troubles. The best "tip" I can receive is repeat business. That's all I can say.
  8. I posed the question about how likely are you to cross the bridge when an SP friend of mine was thinking of moving here in the Fall of 2009. Check out the responses to this thread. http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=16291&highlight=cross+bridge
  9. And we know there ain't no expiration date on joyful-spirit!
  10. A wise person once reminded that money is a renewable resource - we can always get more of it, but trust isn't. Once lost, difficult to regain.
  11. I wonder what she would have said if you asked to accompany her to the pharmacy and pay for it. I would bet she was buying drugs all right...for herself! Sorry that happened to you, but it sounds to me like you already knew because like you said, you "smelled trouble". I think we've all done at one time or another...
  12. I like MINK much better than a Golden Girl which someone else referred here as 50+ which I am fast approaching. Golden Girl (image of Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia....)....Nah! We still have a long way to go baby!
  13. Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me: Ivana Humpalot (Kristen Johnson): My name is Ivana. Ivana Humpalot. Austin Powers (Mike Myers): Excuse me? Ivana Humpalot: Ivana Humpalot Austin: And I want a solid gold toilet but it's just not in the cards now, is it? Lethal Weapon: Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson): [Picking up a young prostitute] Young prostitute: What have you got in mind? Riggs: Well, I want you to come home and watch television with me. Young prostitute: You serious? Riggs: Yeah. "The 3 Stooges" are on in 20 minutes. Crocodile Dundee: 1) Sue Charton (Linda Kozlowskii): That croc was going to eat me alive. Mick Dundee (Paul Hogan): Well, I wouldn't hold that against him. Same thought crossed my mind once or twice. 2) Mick to a mugger with a knife] That's not a knife. [draws a large Bowie knife] That's a knife.
  14. I am all for the bawdy house laws being changed. However I think there is a point being overlooked in this particular case. After reading the newspaper article, the "problem" I see with this particular situation is that there were teenagers living in that house. I assume they would still be minors. This I do not think "business" should go on in a house where children are living. There are too many things that could go wrong and obviously in this case it did. Whether they are at school during the day when this goes on is irrelevant. What happens if say they got sick and came home early one day. And I am curious - how did they continue doing business during summer vacation? Did they ship their kids off somewhere else? Sorry, I don't feel sorry for the couple that got busted. In my opinion, they were not using good judgment. After speaking to other SP friends, they are in total agreement with me.
  15. I tend to agree with you about the real Olympics, but we're just having some fun here talking about CERB Olympics....
  16. I believe that when something like that is created, it should be "moderated" from the get go and these would not even be allowed to be created in the first place.
  17. A friend of mine forwarded these to me - some hilarious clips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZNg0_Yzm2A&feature=related There are more...too many to include here. Good for a few laughs!
  18. That is so hilarious! So I guess that would make me an ALF, then? (Conjures up images of a furry alien creature...maybe not then!)
  19. Is a 21 year old woman who has had a child considered a MILF? Some male friends of mine seem to think so. Is an older woman has never had children still considered a MILF? It is not a term I give myself, although I have been referred to as such and have done role-playing in that regard. I had someone e-mail me, telling me he always wanted a MILF. Should I tell him that even though I'm older, I've never had kids. I guess I'm a MNK (mature, no kids).
  20. Sometimes I wonder why guys ask the questions they do. What irks me the most is guys who e-mail me asking for same day appointments. My auto-response clearly indicates to call me as I am not always near the computer. I don't get it. Do they think we are tied to the computer 24/7. As far as answering that "pointless" question sometimes leads to bookings. It's never a guarantee, but sometimes it works out. I make the effort. But if the email is crude or offensive, I don't answer it.
  21. I do not understand the logic behind not responding to someone's pm? I may not always be near the computer and even if the request is past due, I still respond. I have never received a rude pm and if I did, I would probably respond rather curtly and if it was really offensive, report it to the MOD (so even that would not be an excuse). I don't know if it's because of my experience of being an admin. assistant and having to remain on top of things (no pun intended), but I can't understand anyone who wouldn't want to respond to "potential business". I would say pm's and e-mails constitute at least 30% of my business. For those ladies who neglect to check and respond to these, please don't complain about how slow it is. I believe you are truly missing out! Are there any other ladies out there who agree with me?
