Something to consider. I do not mean to hijack this thread, but just wondering why the most of the OP's threads to date on CERB are primarily questions about girls from BP. Although not technically breaking the rules, it just seems odd to me. We have some great ladies from Nova Scotia (some of who I have met). When I meet a man who I think I may be interested in dating, I pretty much out myself right away so that I don't waste his or my time. If I don't think it's going to go anywhere, I may or may not, not because I'm ashamed of what I do, but rather, I am tired of having those talks where I feel I need to defend the profession. Some guys who I was sure would have a problem with what I do, actually turned out to be cool with it and my best supporters. As Juliana said, you fall in love with the person - who they are, not what they do. At the end of the day, if we have our heads together, we can simply remind ourselves, this is our livelihood and if there are others who don't approve, but I'm okay with what I do, then that's "their" problem, not mine.

I like mrrnice2 because he (among others) helped to bring together folks from 5 provinces for the first Halifax social and we were all welcomed warmly and treated like royalty.

I always leave my phone in another room and lower the volume so it can't be heard. Any lady who answers her phone while is session is not being very professional. With so many new ladies getting into the business (it seems every day here in Ottawa), it's not surprising this (amongst other things) is becoming a commonplace complaint from guys. The ladies I know who accept US currency, would request you add the difference to make up for the loss as not all of us go to the States and it's not fair to ask us them to take the hit on conversion. Unless I knew you already, I would not accept it. I would ask you to convert it first. In the past few years there have been and more incidences of ladies being passed counterfeit money, so if someone declines, don't take offence. Just do the right thing and go and convert it into Canadian.

I would like to extend a thank you to the gents who saw me while I was visiting Halifax last week. First of all there is no such thing as the 'going rate'. If she has a certain rate and you find it too high, then decline. If she senses you're not comfortable and offers a lower rate, then you can't have it both ways: ie. not want to pay that rate but then be wary because she might sense that and then offer a lower rate. If that's the case, then seek out a gal who already offers a lower rate. Because obviously you've made it clear you don't want to pay higher. I find your question confusing. Seems like you're putting it back on the girl when in reality it is you who probably would like to suggest the lower rate perhaps, but because she does, suddenly you're wary? Sorry I don't get it. If I've offended anyone, I apologize, but I don't get what the OP is getting at.

Even if you wanted to book a hotel room, doubtful you will find any vacancies. Canada Day weekend is possibly the most busiest time of the year for hotels in the NCR. As Nicki suggested, long weekends are usually dead because guys are tied up with family or other commitments.

I was rather disappointed that all of the gentlemen who practically begged me to come to Fredericton and Saint John did not contact me while I was here. And I do see gentlemen same day, time permitting, so it's not like it would have been difficult to book with short notice. I now understand why touring ladies insist on deposits. Sad, but true that if you intend on seeing a lady and then don't even bother to follow through, it does not instill a lot of confidence to return to that city.

Guys who practically beg you to come to their city and when you're there, don't follow through. Next time, deposits, for sure!
