A very good friend of mine's best friend was killed when he rolled his jeep Tuesday evening. He's pretty choked up and I have no idea how to console him.

I got to visit with 3 friends today, one for a bite to eat, another for a drink and the third for a dip in her hot tub and pool. I love being downtown - my mini vacation away from Orleans is turning out to be okay!

My pick for Goddess of the day is Sophia Varoushka. I recently got to spend some time socializing with her on her last visit to Ottawa, and she was gracious, humourous, and lots of fun to be around. She also has a body to die for!! Lean, strong and toned!

For those who might think otherwise, CERB has never ever been affiliated with any socials that have been held (to my knowledge, only so far in Ottawa). That is why when I helped host them, I always posted not to bother MOD about anything related (before or after) the social. If it's going to be a major thorn in people's side, the MOD may very well not allow us to advertise these types of events in the future which would be very sad. But if people are going to hurl insults and instill fear mongering which I believe was part of what went wrong with this one, I wouldn't blame him. And that is coming from someone who has co-hosted 6 of them. I suggest if some folks still want to get together, then do so in a public place of your choosing (do not publish it openly on the board though). People can show up if they want to, or not. Period.

I'm sure management doesn't mind if you're buying drinks, but the ladies make their money from lap dances and even though I'm sure they appreciate a drink, in the end it doesn't pay the rent so to speak.

Why was the charge of human trafficking dropped? If you "sell" someone for $4K, sounds like human trafficking to me.

If you go back to the beginning and follow the story as it unfolded, after she defrauded Mr. Macklem, and thought she had successfully faked her death, she made the mistake of coming back to Canada to visit and then she was arrested and was unable to leave the country after that. Presumably her ex-husband, Nolan Johnson still has the money or it's been spent although he denies he had anything to with anything she did even though they were together during the whole ordeal and fled to Jamaica together to live. So, she didn't even really get to benefit from any of this herself but yet is still liable to pay Mr. Macklem back, essentially until the debt is paid off. Enforcing a civil judgment (which Mr. Macklem got first) is hard enough, but when the parole board will not even insist she abide by the criminal judgement of restitution as part of her day parole, that just boggles my mind. What also is incredible is after she divorced Nolan, she found someone else to marry her who was well aware of what the proceedings against her. I guess she was pretty good at convincing him of her lies. Even the Judge held her in jail from conviction until sentencing because he did not deem her to be credible (did not believe she would stick around - deemed her essentially a flight risk) probably based on her evidence that was fraught with lies and essentially unbelievable. Truly a sad story with no happy ending.

It's okay by me for a client to leave his phone on because like you said, it might look suspicious if someone was trying to get a hold of him and couldn't. I also leave my phone muted so it doesn't bother us, or ring in the background while the client may have to take a call and then explain what that noise was in the background. Unless someone tries filming the session with the built-in cam corder (hasn't happened to me personally, but I've heard stories).

I like Backrubman because he's a relatively new member and has made some valuable contributions to the board in the short time he's been on CERB. Also, he has a cool name and avatar.

I have timed myself on different occasions and it takes approximately 15 minutes from the Nicholas on-ramp at the 417 to my place in Orleans. With the increase of traffic in Ottawa, a conservative estimate is 20 minutes (providing traffic is flowing smoothly). But during rush-hour, forget it, which is why I often take a break between 4 and 6 pm because unless a guy is coming back to the east end, it's unreasonable to expect someone to want to come during that time from the west. So for out-calls, I would think its the same thing - allow the lady adequate time to get to you.

My pick for Goddess of the Day is the lovely Soleil from Winnipeg. Soleil is sexy, smart, sassy, witty, with a great sense of humour. It's not that difficult to get out calls to the east end. Perhaps what you really want to know is, "who provides out calls to the east end". Since I live in Orleans, I actually prefer them (and even offer half hour!). I can think of at least 3 independent ladies who would do come to the east (I believe minimum 1 hour call). What to you mean by the east end? I've had enquires from St. Laurent/417 all the way past Rockland, lol. Depending on where you're located, you might be looking at a minimum 1 hour call and/or plus travel fee.

If someone sends you a friend request, you can either accept it or reject it. The most I would do if accepting it, is thank them for their friend request. But honestly, if they are interested in finding out more about you, or booking you, they will.

My pick for Goddess of the Day would be the lovely Katherine who I had the pleasuring of meeting this week when she was visiting Ottawa. She is everything you could imagine not just as an SP, but a nice person all round! Katherine is intelligent, witty, classy, attractive, fit (yes I got to squeeze hee hee). Oh, and she has a nice touch (soothing energy). I just wish you lived closer, Katherine. Love your smile.

If the world does end on December 12th, we'll all be dead so we won't know any better. So does it really matter then? But I think a party is in order the evening before...just in case. I will bump this thread at 12:01 a.m. on December 12th...maybe.
